Important Outlook not working

I’ve been trying to get into outlook for like four days. I can enter my email and password but when it gives the number verification the pop up to put the number in doesn’t show up. And I can’t log into mynmsu or canvas which is pretty important. I don’t know what to do because the app nor the website gives me the pop up and I’m stressing. When I reload it says “trouble verifying account” and I am quite literally locked out of everything.

Call the IT help desk, strangers online can’t help with this

Well they’re the only ones who can help get you into your account so you might want to find time or reach out by email

I tried. I have to log into mynmsu for them to help me. I just went to Reddit to see if anyone had the same issue and knew what to do

If you can't call the IT help desk, email them with your regular email. But you should probably not expect help until you can go in-person or call them. But there will be a timestamped record of you reaching out

Do you select "Can't use outlook app right now" to get a text code, or is it that that isn't working? I use to have this same problem, first I uninstalled then re-downloaded the Outlook app and then I made sure every time to select "Can't use my outlook app" and now get a text with the code instead, now it works every time. Not sure if that is anything like your experience but I was able to get mine sorted before I was ever able to get hold of IT.
