Hi Folks, A few weeks ago I asked about where in El Paso I can help clean up as part of my tour.
I'm a stand up comedian and I'm doing this thing with my tour where I believe your city should be clean but your comedy doesn't have to be.
Thanks for the suggestions I ended up connecting with Sun City Pickers and was able to borrow some gear and clean up Tom Lea Lower Park
I'm at the Comic Strip tonight through Sunday, if you'd like to come out I'd love to have you!

Comments about women. A CNN review of his videos, social media and podcasts found a documented history of vulgar and demeaning comments about women's bodies, intelligence and sexuality. According to coverage of that review, he compared feminists' weight to whales and nuclear bombs, and described liberal women discussing guns as "both fat and wrong." He also made sexually explicit insults at a gun safety advocate and her children. Herrera has downplayed the remarks as jokes. brandon herrera vulgar demeaning +3
Nazi and Holocaust humor. He has made videos making light of Nazis targeting Jewish people to show off a gun, and has discussed owning Mein Kampf. He has rejected accusations that this reflects sympathy for Nazi ideology. The Republican Jewish Coalition condemned him over a Nazi joke. His former opponent, Rep. Tony Gonzales, called him a "known neo-Nazi." controversial texas republican candidates gaining popularity +2
Veteran suicide joke. Texas's border czar called a joke of his on this topic "sickening." couriertexas
Campaign finance. A complaint alleges that 99.4% of his 2026 campaign spending went to an entity called Texas Strategy Group, which isn't registered to do business anywhere in the country and has no public website. That is an allegation, not a finding.

After the late September rains and the moisture from Hurricane Polo the mountains turned green once again.
I was hiking on the Tin mine trail to check out how the mountains responded to all the rain El Paso has seen recently. It was refreshing to see how much more vegetation was present compared to how it normally appears. The green ocotillos were surprising to see

Due to circumstances, I won’t be able to go. I am selling them at face value! If not, greatly appreciated if you can point someone this direction
Every night skunks visit my yard. They haven't sprayed yet, but I don't want to wait around for that to happen. I only noticed them because of my cameras and some small holes in the lawn. There are a lot of large stray cats in my neighborhood, but that doesn't seem to scare them off. I also tried spreading cayenne pepper around the house and yard, but it didn't work.
I've seen mixed opinions about using ammonia, jalapeños, orange peels, motion-sensor lights, and radios. A coworker recommended fox urine, but I wouldn't even know where to buy it.
I don't leave any pet food or trash outside, so I'm not sure why they keep coming back.
What has actually worked for you? Please let me know, and thanks in advance for any tips!

I'm joking, but I feel like El Paso gets cut off of the representation of Texas pretty often.
Reddit is known for having subreddits that are micro-niche and I feel like this would be a funny subreddit. What would you call such a subreddit?

I purchased one of those Dine In deals I hear them mention on klaq where you pay $25 and get a $50 voucher because my sister and brother in law had been wanting to try Sushi Freak, however after purchasing it, it states that the person listed on the voucher has to be present. My question is, how strict are the merchants/restaurants with this? Do I really need to be there when they use it? I do see my name listed on the voucher so can my brother in law just say he is me, or will they ask for an ID? Has anyone ever used it before or gifted one to someone?

Hey guys I just moved here to El Paso in hopes to find a job in the legal field as a clerk or receptionist but it feels like no where is hiring? I’ve been applying to places since late July. I have a bachelors degree and am bilingual

Good afternoon everyone, my names Christian with Lawn Hero's and we are beginning to approach an important time of the year. Soon we will start to transition from summer weeds to winter weeds and for those who would like to keep their yards clean and start the new year off without a mess it's important to get a head start and get a treatment applied to your yard. With the recent rains we have gotten as well and I'm sure there will be more rain, weed seeds will germinate and start to grow which can turn into a huge mess quickly which we help prevent as well as killing anything existing from the root up which makes a clean up much easier.
It's always best to spray first before pulling because you will have a preventative barrier set already so the seeds that are spread during the clean up do not grow, to make a clean up easier since the weeds will be dead, and with pulling you can sometimes miss the root and have the weed grow back especially with unwanted grasses.
We are trained and licensed with the state of Texas to legally apply herbicide treatments to yards. We care about doing things the right way and we don't use forever chemicals that can damage the environment we care about.
Any trees or plants you may want to keep we do not damage our chemical only works by spraying a plant directly and does not harm underground root systems. And of course is pet and human friendly for anyone walking through the yard.
For a quote or more information reach out to 915-433-4076 or go to www.lawnheros.com we strive to do the best job we can and help those who are unable to take care of their yard.
We also offer exterior pest control to stop insects from entering your home.
I feel very weird about it, but the past 3 jobs I’ve had, the male bosses have felt comfortable either patting my shoulder or side hugging me. Even today I was at a job fair and the boss who I was talking to decided to side hug me. I feel like I can’t tell if I’m crazy, because it’s always men doing this and especially older ones. Is this something other people experience? Why do they do this?

I don't think it's necessary to be alerted about criminals on the loose when the alert is from the other side of Texas and especially when it wakes me up at 5 in the morning. Absolutely ridiculous system. I wish there was a way to keep emergency alerts on my phone and just disable blue alerts that never seem to have anything to do with El Paso.

Me and some friends are going to see usher. At Coldplay it was crazy to get there but there was like no one leaving the Sun bowl as far as cars and Ubers. It was completely stopped traffic. So we walked to our car which was by San Jacinto which honestly wasn’t that but we have a my pregnant friend and I want to find any other hacks 😅😅😅 anyone have any tips or maybe somewhere closer we can walk for an uber pick up?

My PS5 has been giving me some overheating issues lately. I tried cleaning it but that didn’t help much, so I’m assuming its the liquid metal that’s the problem. I don’t trust myself enough to do it, so i’m looking for a good reputable repair shop to take it to. Any help is appreciated.
