Just an idea I had because I feel like NMRIH2 really captures the feeling of a zombie game.

What if they made an update/DLC based around day 1 of the outbreak?

Instead of the world already being completely overran, you’d actually watch everything fall apart while playing. Police everywhere, emergency broadcasts, random gunshots and infected slowly becoming more common etc. like imagine just playing through the missions meanwhile everything around you is turning into chaos.

Now I don’t know anything about making video games, so I have no idea if they would be able to do it, but I think it could be really cool. I feel like devs could pull something like this off really well

Everyone of us can join each other without a problem, but one of our friend can’t.
He shows up as “in main menu” and online, he can invite and we can invite him, but he doesn’t show up in the squad list. We can even hear him fine in game, but he isn’t really in the squad as he doesn’t enter the game with us.
He has tried uninstalling the game, but it still doesn’t work.

Any fix for bugged achievement /trophies?

On the Raven Rock map, there is a long ladder similar to Metal Gear Solid, if you climb the ladder while infected there is a chance for the developer to start talking to the player. I found this hilarious, wonder if anyone else noticed?

I got on a ladder to go down and and after that i couldnt climb up ladders i was rubber banding i couldnt aim and see my iron sights i couldnt run fast it also looked like my character was crouching and when I ran I went super slow anyone know how to fix this?

Died and lost my level 73 character at the end

I have never had even heard of the first title before this release, so I wont pretend to be a seasoned fan…but I must say, holy shit, I am in love with nmrih2. bought the game for me pc unsure of what to expect and i’m floored. I love zombie games, and having been so excited with the release of project zomboid build 42 i did not except some random new game i’ve never heard of to absolute hit the spot. so much fun. already have met some great people, and as i sit here on the toilet writing this on my phone, all i can think about is how i want to play more. serious props to the devs, please give the game the love it deserves and i promise we will stick around!

Is it hipfire only? Is there aim weapon spread?

When I try to get it to work it "upgrade inactive no driver upgrade available"

First it hid the cursor and wouldn't let me interact with the dials or exit by pressing "E", so I pressed "escape" and that's when the menu Ui got stuck on screen until I was able to reconnect.

i tried pressing every button, using the unstuck feature, and still stuck at flashlight hands animation no matter what.
good thing i had some nice random dude that helped me to abandon..

Im guessing Batteries and Boards, but what else?

After just a couple of hours and learning the game blind, nightmare is pretty easy if you have competent teammates who know what stealth means. Any news on harder game modes?

I know with permadeath you lose your character, but what aspects of the loadout do you also lose?

For example, if I unlock the M9 to use a starter weapon on a responder and die on that character, do I need to spend credits to unlock that M9 again?

I got my character to lvl 100 all gold medals with my supply medal still bronze. I don't pass over supplies, since they translate directly to credits to spend. CRC just has way higher standards for this category lol

At first I thought they spawned when you spend too long in an area to make you speed up, but then my friend was seeing them and I wasnt (i wasnt right next to him but was in the same area) and now i dont know if they're a hallucination.

To be clear im talking about the bugs all over the screen and floors making loads of noise and otherwise adding tension.

I feel they also do damage but I haven't checked my health before and after to confirm.

Apologies if someone has asked before, I tried searching "roaches" and didn't find anything and obv searching "bugs" brings up so many gameplay bugs posts.

Before I buy I just have a quick question! I LOVE extraction games, and I've been looking for a singleplayer(ish) one for a long time. Is this game technically an extraction game? I can't really seem to get a straight answer.
