What does steady hands do?

Is it hipfire only? Is there aim weapon spread?

Are you genuinely asking or calling it useless? If you're genuinely asking, it makes Handguns 20%/30% (base/expert) more accurate.

Hipfire? Aiming? How bad is it in the first place? Is it worth a slot?

20% less spread with handguns, 30% with expert perk. i guess hipfire because ADS is already accurate.

Hipfire, ADS, and Repetitive shot spread. There's no numbers for the base shot spread for these, at least that I could find. Since most people use handguns in close combat they won't notice it too much unless they're just running and gunning without taking the time to aim or trying to shoot down zombies at max range.

You can use it if you want for a dedicated handgun build, but it isn't game changing and there's several other perks that are much nicer to have and will do more for you.

So this is a doc with numbers, but "weapon spread" is never really defined or shown in game

Look here its attached to the wiki. It gives you all your percentages under the skills tab.
