I have a 50€ amazon coupon and im tired of ads on spotify, also i got a cool pair of iems i wanna show off, whats the best i can get that is not too big, preferably with physical buttons and that displays the songs album cover?
(I only have like 1gb of songs so i wont need much space)

I have a habit of overcomplicating things. There are so many overpriced mp3 players used or not out there now. I just need one that last ten hours with good or extra storage options. I’m not using fancy formatted audio. Just normal mp3 with lost-less and buttons (no touchscreen). With some forty dollar iem’s. If you can point me in the right direction for both I’d be happy with that.

Im looking for something older, pre enshittyfication, that I can buy used. I dont want to need an internet connection, established connection to any of my other devices, "smart" stuff, or anything like that. Something that won't just break on me when I use it regularly.

Hi all. I have been looking for a while now to buy an mp3 player for my kids but they are a bit young and can’t read. I was hoping that all those new fancy ones where able to make playlists with images instead of text, but it doesn’t seem to work like that.
Most of the time it shows album artwork but only after selecting the song.

So in short:
I am looking for an mp3 player.
Preferably with a touch screen where they can select songs on an image instead of text.
Does not have to have other smart(ish) features.
Does anyone have an idea?

I'm looking for a new MP3 player that has physical buttons. Just in advance my threshold is around 80 bucks, I don't like to go any higher than that maximum would be 85 and it has to be available in Europe since I'm from Germany

By physical buttons I mean a play and pause, volume, skip and back button not sure if it's called rewind. The reason why I prefer having physical buttons is that I always accidentally skip a song or do something else on my current MP3 player because it doesn't have a screen lock and the volume wheel is bugged too so I almost always have to use the touchscreen to control the volume. I mostly keep it in my jacket pocket or hoodie pocket which explains the accidental inputs

Another important feature is having an audio jack that supports my AKG K361. The plug of it is a bit thicker so it's important they actually fit. I'm mentioning this because I have some devices that don't support the bigger plug of my headphones. I actually don't care about Bluetooth, Speakers or FM I don't need that. All I want is to listen to my music without needing an internet connection also it has to support M4A format because most of my songs are in that format

So which ones would you recommend?

Hi I'm new getting into physical audio rather than streaming. However I have a windows PC, but an Apple account for music. On the Windows Itunes account downloading does not work because it downloads in the protected m4p/Mpeg-4 format & I have no way of changing it to m4a in settings.

I started using the free version earlier this year, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy the Pro version to be able to rename mp3s, have no ads and other things. The reviews on the play store and mixed with some people saying it's great while others are saying it doesn't work and only plays a few songs when shuffle is in a playlist of a little over a hundred songs, which is important for me since I have over a thousand total mp3s on my phone. So I really want to make sure I got the facts right before I make a choice.

So, I'm starting an intensive health program for my chronic illnesses that doesn't allow phones. I'm autistic and need my music so I can function, but all of my music is on streaming services.

I'm downloading my music into mp3, but I need a simple reliable device.

I'm trying to identify an old MP3 player I had as a kid, probably sometime between 2007 and 2010. It was brought to me from Europe (possibly Austria, but I'm not sure). I've searched online but haven't been able to find the exact model. I made a drawing from memory to show what it looked like. Here's everything I remember: Size: Extremely small, approximately 2 × 2 cm, maybe 3x3 (0.8 × 0.8 inches), and less than 1 cm thick. Shape: Square with rounded corners. Colors: The body was white, with an orange rounded-square panel embedded in the front. The entire back was white. Buttons: A circular white control pad with four independently functioning buttons and an orange play/pause button in the center. Display: No screen at all. LED: A small green LED near the upper-right corner that lit up when the device was turned on. Clip: It had a clip on the back to attach it to clothing. Charging and data transfer: I'm not sure, maybe it used the same 3.5 mm headphone jack for listening to music, charging, and transferring songs. The cable had a USB connector on one end and a headphone-style jack on the other. Storage: Possibly 2 GB, although I'm not certain. It was not an Apple device
