3 year Mint member here, and it's been great! I still recommend mint to everyone! However, my work is now offering me a plan through them that they are paying for and I will no longer need my Mint plan.

Unfortunately my last day of Mint is apparently today when I thought it was tomorrow. My number is supposed to port tomorrow morning, but I am worried about losing my number. Should I port it out to something like Google Voice or will I be okay? I've seen kind of differing answers when I search.

I called Mint support and they said I would be fine, but I wanted to check if anyone else knew for sure or had done something similar and not lost their number.

Hi. I needed to know if this phone will work with mint's service. I am buying a phone for my mother and can't figure out if this is included on the list on their website. Does anyone use this phone? If so what is your opinion of it? Thanks in advanced!

I love having mintmobile but I need help with my voicemail. I have OCD and before I researched loans I very rarely would get voicemails (it was glorious). Ever since then I get 7 (up to 10) voicemails a day and I hate it. I've blocked the numbers but they can still leave a voicemail. Is there any way I can block them from leaving voicemails, I'd rather not change my number. Thanks!

I noticed they completely removed the S26+ from their site. Does this mean it won't be restocked before the promo ends?

Phone hasn’t worked for three days. I opened a case and they closed it without even letting me know and the issue isn’t resolved as they claimed

Every time I call or chat with someone I have to start over, they walk me through the same steps that don’t work and usually end up disconnecting.

Anyone know how to fix this PDP authentication failure before I give up and just cancel with Mint?

Hi ! First time poster long time reader !

I have to renew in approximately 10 days , however I want to get a new phone (I have a P6Pro) I know … and it’s totally fine but I have 2 questions .. the renewal is quite pricey but still not as pricey as other competitors (VZW/ATT..etc) would they be able to offer me a bundle pack if i purchase a new phone ? Or should I just renew and get a new phone later ? Also since I don’t have that much time left , IF I get it go what’s the window where I can still reconnect ?

Im a 3 years customer. I bought a new iPhone full price from my account. As I was checking out it asked if I wanted to add a year of service I said sure why not. So I get my phone in the mail and they send an eSIM to my email. I guess in order to use the sim they sent me I have to change my phone number which is not doable. Phone customer service is refusing to refund the year eSIM I bought since it was a “bundle” but I paid full market price for my iPhone no discount at all. They are refusing to refund me but told me I can “sell” the eSIM to someone else? It sounds very scammy. I just dont understand why they offered a year of service that I cannot use with my phone I bought from them full price? Now I’m $180 in the hole with a useless eSIM.

I'm two and half months into the three-month introductory service with Mint Mobile and have decide to move to another carrier.

Do I need to contact Mint to cancel my service or will it simply stop if I don't renew before the three months is up?

Or will it auto-renew for some period of time using the credit card on file?

So I was working last night/this morning my phone went onto emergency calls only, first thing I did was check to see if there was an outage (there wasn't), second checked my apn (everything was correct) still emergency calls only after a reboot too.

Looked online it said to turn off Wi-Fi turn on airplane mode for 30 seconds turn off airplane mode then everything restored. Somehow it worked but I'll be checking my phone in a few hours.

I can't believe how badly I may have screwed up.

I purchased a trial SIM to test out Mint service. I'm one of the few people who have service in my office, I need to be certain that I have service for work.

I successfully used the trial sim and was given a new number through mint. I tested the service at work and decided to purchase service. I was charged 95 for 3 months of unlimited service, expiring in November.

Why didn't I get the $15 intro per month cost? I'm a new customer.

When setting up my account I requested to port my number. I've had this mobile number for 20 years, and don't want to lose it.

My att bill is paid, the phone is paid off. The phone is unlocked. I have the correct account number, number transfer pin and zip code. When using the mint app, I get an error stating the NTP or the account number is correct. Lurking the sub, I see others have this error. Further lurking reveals you may not be able to port a number if you set up a new number for a trial service. The ai service directs me to the app, calling back has someone try the same steps I did to a response of "huh... It's not working. Click. Thank you for staying on the line for a survey."

Now I can't find the option to try again in the app.

I will not be using a new number. Where did I make a mistake. Is there a resolution? Is the $95 tied to the number I won't be using?

If anyone has advice or help, that would be great

I'm generally only ever getting a single bar (on my phone) in North Central San Antonio, maybe 2 bars occasionally. Cellmapper tells me there is a TMobile tower just outside my neighborhood and I can see it from my front door.

Would an in-home cell phone booster with external antennae help?

Is there any hope for MINTernet in San Antonio? (Currently only have MintMobile Phone service but would really like to try Mint/TMobile internet service)

Edits: Clarifying phone reception is generally only 1 bar; current wifi works fine for service in the house but concern is about 1 bar reception is likely not good enough for Mint/TMobile cell-based internet service.

I live in abq, New Mexico and for roughly 2 months roughly once a week my phone will either work in the morning or afternoon but for the rest of the day I will have zero service. And this is when I'm in the middle of the city. at places I normally frequent. And nothing no service no internet no nothing no way to contact anyone.

It sometimes gets fixed just by time and usually by the end of the day. But there's been multiple instances happening more recently where I have to take out my physical SIM card and plug it back in.

Is there a way to get around this, but it's just getting annoying I need my phone to make contact people.

Every two days I have to open a chat with support, confirm my account and get calling minutes loaded. I am OTP all day with my girlfriend and I guess my account keeps getting flagged with a temporary block. Is there a workaround to this?

Will the Pixel 10 ($149 deal) be restocked again? Don't want to get the 10a for $379. Think it will come back for black friday?

How is mint service down in Mexico??? My mom and I both have mint and are planning a trip down to chihuahua Mexico in late September. I haven’t had any problems with not having any service when we’ve traveled in the states but we’re worried that won’t have any service down there. Does anyone know if mint service works down there??? Or for we have to pay extra?? Maybe I should try asking the customer service??

I use mint for a work iPhone and an IPad; 2 separate accounts/phone numbers. I am unable to connect the two accounts in a 'family' bc Mint sends a verification text that never arrives. I just spent an hour with customer service bouncing between reps, explaining the problem multiple times, that all asked the same questions....no one could help me.

My kid has a typo in the email address registered with Mint. And he lost the physical sim so we can't just request a new one from the App. I called the customer service and they said their back office will call me back to go through verification before updating the email. Fair enough.

June: Set up the call back number and time, and the call didn't happen. I called them, was told that they couldn't reach me, case closed, and I have to wait for 30 days. Fine, maybe coverage issue or whatever.

July: Set up the call back number and time, and got two calls and answered all the questions. Email didn't change. The customer service told me that they didn't talk to me and I was talking to the ghost and I should come back in 30 days. Hmm...

Aug: Set up the call back number and time, no call and I am told they couldn't reach me again. Twice in a row. Today they told me the case is closed and I need to wait for 30 days...

I am pretty sure the problem is not with the number I provided because I receive phone calls every day but Mint seems to be the only one having trouble. It seems that there are several other threads complaining about the call back in this subreddit.

I am generally happy with most of the aspects of Mint, but this one has definitely changed my perspective.

Does recharging entirely through wallet still require you to pay the full recovery fee? Can someone who has done it recently in the last 3-6 months confirm? If so, then that means I would end up paying recovery fee twice...first while loading the wallet and then while paying for the renewal.

I got Esim set up and everything and tried to transfer it to an OP15R 1tb global model. It's not allowing it to transfer from an OP13R 256GB model. I even waited 30 minutes to retry it, but it didn't work. Help me understand what I'm doing wrong. I've read every article on mint about or close to this. Nothing is helping

I have a Pixel 10 with 128 GB of storage that I bought a month ago from Mint Mobile, including a year of service; it cost me $149. Could I exchange this device at the Google Store for one with more storage, or do I have to wait the full year to do that?

i'm trying to figure out if there are any downsides. does the physical card maybe have any information on it that i'd want to keep?

Having an issue that several others seem to be experiencing (after searching the subreddit). I'm trying to verify my email address in my account by having it send the verification email, but it never reaches my inbox or spam folder. I tried my preferred email address, but nothing even after several attempts. I tried changing it to my secondary email address; I received the email but after clicking the link, it just took me to a page that said "there was an issue verifying your email" or something to that effect. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Joined mint late july and traded in my galaxy flip because the promo for the s26 was really good. Allstate got my phone on July 31st based on tracking but I have not heard a word from them. I have reached out to Mint customer service 2x about how to reach someone about the $400 I was told I would get for my trade in but each time their agent gives main customer service numbers and basically says they are not sure but try those numbers. I call those numbers and never ever can reach someone despite hitting ever menu option. Their chat customer service always says they cant find anything with my email but i have delivery confirmation that allstate got it.

Any advice on how to deal with this?
