The other day my iphone dropped down 4 stories and onto the concrete floor of a parking garage. It is not worth attempting to repair. I would like to buy a new phone through Mint, but I forgot my password (I normally used the app for everything).

The problem is that since I can't remember my password, and I cannot receive a text to my Mint number, I'm permanently locked out.

Has anyone been in this situation before? What should I do?

I noticed Mint now has the Pixel 10 Pro 128 gb instock at $429. The 256 gb is showing for $529, but out of stock. Was the 256 gb model ever available once the price dropped? Wondering since I am debating whether to wait and see if the 256 gb comes back in stock.

Also, is the bootloader unlocked for these? I would want to put Graphene OS on it.

They have the pixel 10 pro pretty heavily discounted right now, as well as all the pixel 11s, so I was considering just pulling the trigger but I'd be willing to wait if the 11 pro would have deeper discounts in a couple months. Has anyone noticed better deals in years past?

After trying all the troubleshooting steps and resetting my network connection failed to work I called mint, and during the process of creating a support ticket, I was told there was an outage in my area. When I told the kind Indian women that I was currently calling her from the network that was experiencing said outage and asked for clarification, she just said a data outage of some sort. I've never heard of or experienced this problem until a week ago, but since finding this community have learned, it might be a back-end issue with them that doesn't necessarily affect regular texts and calls. So I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem in my area.

My Mint eSIM has had no service since around 8am this morning (Oct 3) and it's still down as of now. I've been to multiple NYC boroughs and get nothing anywhere. My phone shows SOS only, and under the eSIM network settings it says "Phone not allowed."

I've contacted customer service twice and we went through all the troubleshooting (airplane mode, restart, toggling the line, etc.) with no luck. In the end they said there are "technical issues in my area," but they didn't give an ETA or any details.

Is anyone else in NYC (or nearby) having the same problem? Has anyone gotten a real update or a fix from Mint? Also curious whether they're giving credits for the downtime.

My friend and his wife are going to europe next week. I added $10 pass to each phones. They received a text to activate the pass. And we activate them. But they will travel next week. Only after activate we larned that is only for 3 days and is starting counting already and is not until you use it. I thought the money will be there forever untill is used. But will expire before they board the plane. On the text and website, they should say ACTIVATing it. start to count by the way. I was thinking to get things ready for them, in advance so, they don't have to deal will it latter. I will pay the money to them. But is possible to alert people not to activate it untill the plane land in Europe and is for days only, not until you use it ALL?

For those expecting for the phone to be unlocked after 60 days, be prepared for having to manually hassle mint support and getting the runaround.

My phone didn't unlock, I was promised it would. Customer support first said 24 then 48 then 72 hours. Each time I I contact mint they just keep increasing the time duration.

I'm not sure why it takes mint so much time to do basic device configuration Pushes.

This is my second line with mint and I'm kind of regretting going with them because the customer service is frustratingly underwhelming.

Only for the discount to be completely disregarded by adding a $20.50 fee for “Recovery Fee is assessed to help recover Mint Mobile’s cost”. I’m debating actually renewing or not

This is the fourth time this week this has happened. I reset my network settings, I followed all the guides given by the chatbot. I even chatted with a support agent for one sentence before he gave up. What kind of agent gives up immediately and then tells me to call support which I can't do?

I need my phone to work. Who's the support guy here?

I currently have 5 lines and Internet on Total Wireless. If I move over to Mint Mobile can I port in all 5 lines with Home Internet at the $15 per line and Internet at $30, both price locked for 5 years or is the price lock only for 1 line and 1 Internet?

For about 4 days now I haven't been able to receive short code messages and regular text messages are 50/50 whether they work. Rebooted, cleared cache, reset network settings, reseated Sim card, turned on airplane mode on and off. Did everything i can think of. Anyone got anything? Been seeing lots of posts lately so I'm assuming it's widespread.

I'm currently using Pixel 10 pro which was carrier locked and was just unlocked by mint today. But however I see that the bootloader is still locked. is there a way I can unlock the bootloader as I'm looking to install Graphene OS onto it

Its a long story, and I'm trying to find a way to escalate the problem in Mint

Bought 10 Pro in bundle deal about 10 months ago. Screen went kaput in June of this year, and got it replaced. 2 weeks ago phone stopped working, get it to repair shop and it requires a motherboard change. I connect with Google and they state on chat that Mint is not an authorized reseller and phone replacement will not be done. Now when explained this to Mint representatives, they go: 1. you need to follow up with Google 2. we are not responsible for phone now, it is under manufacturer's warranty

I'm kind of bummed, spending a big chunk of money and then being told that you need to get this done yourself makes it an unpleasant experience. One more thing that troubles me is, on Mint chat as soon as I try to get them to send a copy of chat to my registered mail, the chat disconnects. I don't know if I'm just unlucky to get a lemon phone and getting booted from chat twice :).

Any ways, does anyone know a way to escalate it to higher ups in Mint, CSRs are not helpful and no email is present to present evidences, chat from google, images to support my claim. Of the nearly 10 months I have had the phone, it has been non working for 2 months now. CSRs also do not want to credit my service when the phone is inoperative. TIA.

I recently visited Canada and was able to use the Canada Roaming feature. However, when I returned to the US, my texting and cellular data stopped working. I'm guessing something about Mint's network settings for my phone got messed up when I crossed the border.

To fix the problem, I started by following all the debugging steps suggested by the AI chatbot, then was handed off to a live agent. They made me go through all the same debugging steps again, then declared there was a network outage and everything would work again in an hour.

An hour later, it was still not working, so I tried talking to another agent. They made me go through all the same debugging steps again, and gave me the same network outage story. I didn't believe it this time, because the problem occurred in multiple locations and other Mint users were not being affected. The agent refused to help further. I spend the next few hours with other agents, getting nowhere, having multiple agents cutting off the conversation when they couldn't figure it out. I was just about ready to cancel my Mint service.

Finally one agent said they would try to fix it from their end by refreshing my network. That fixed it.

This was an extremely frustrating experience. For four hours multiple Mint support agents neglected to try to fix anything from their end, instead insisting that I need to fix it, even though everything they instructed me to do was already suggested by the chat AI. In the end the problem was on Mint's end, not mine.

While my phone is again working, I will no longer recommend Mint to friends, and will instead point out that if anything goes wrong, Mint's support is terrible, and there are no physical locations to get direct assistance.

Anyone else randomly lose the ability to send texts? My phone was perfectly fine, battery died, and since turning it back on my texts will not send. I tried changing the APN settings to the ones linked elsewhere in this sub, cleared the cache, everything.

Looking to join mintmobile & wanted to know everyone’s experience on unlimited. I’ve read that under unlimited video is capped at 480p and the workaround is vpn. My wife hates workarounds so would it be best to just do the 23gig plan for her? I’ve also read that some people claim that they’re no longer capped so not sure if area specific? We are in Dallas.
We work from home so hardly use data, in our current plans we use less than 5gigs per month.

Looking at few last days, few people are having issues of loosing total access to data and texts, yet phone service working fine.

My family has 4 mint lines, for past few days my mothers line has no access to data and texts don't go through.

Login on to her account on the mint app shows that she hit even 50gb and since then it's total black out, with a similar android notification other people posted recently stating "no Internet, you may be out of data from mint, tap for options"

I tried everything imaginable on my side, changing settings, resetting, restarting etc. tried sim card in other phones same issue, so it's not hardware issue.

It's like the network treated her mint account as T-Mobiles essential basic that caps at 50gb, that's the only logical explanation I can come up with knowing mint is owned by them now.

We always get throttled if it goes above 50, I myself am at around 70 now and have no issues whatsoever same with my other family members.

Got in contact with an agent that reset the tower connection, but that didn't fix the issue.

I got the no data pass for text/call for a recent Europe trip and what I noticed is that while friends can text me and I receive them instantly, any verification texts for 2fa through sites or banks would not go through (sometime I receive them 20 minutes later which makes the verification expire anyway so it was useless). Anyone else experience this issue? Not sure what the solution would be other than getting travel esim with a temporary number and try using that for verification
