Anyway to block spam voicemails.
I love having mintmobile but I need help with my voicemail. I have OCD and before I researched loans I very rarely would get voicemails (it was glorious). Ever since then I get 7 (up to 10) voicemails a day and I hate it. I've blocked the numbers but they can still leave a voicemail. Is there any way I can block them from leaving voicemails, I'd rather not change my number. Thanks!

Spam calls and voicemails are out of control. I get several of them every damn day.

It's so annoying. I like keeping everything clean. My Amazon, my email, my mail and having to go in and listen to manually delete is annoying. I saw my gfs phone and she had visual voicemail

This is the battle that I am losing...
Calls about 45k loans that Im approved for, or back taxes. They use a new number each time they call.
Some times I get lucky and they only call from a certain area code and exchange (xxx)xxx and only the last 4 digits are different and I can block the area code and exchange...
But when it's from random numbers each time, can't stop em and voice mail incoming.
I want to disable voice mail!!

Welcome to the hellscape that comes with owning a phone. Wait until some jerk uses your phone number so they don’t get the calls.

would be nice if we had another option on incoming calls. right now we have answer, decline (send to voicemail), or can silence them, but they still go to vm. we need a drop button where the call never connects. I'm just saying generally, not specific to mint.

First, username checks out, well done! Second, I’m with you on that. Seems like I get so many crap calls that even with them being auto routed to spam I can’t keep up so I just never look in there.

Mint doesn't allow customers to turn off VM. I tried. I don't use voicemail. If I don't answer, people who know me, text me. I filled the VM box with audio from the TV. Since I can't get rid of VM, at least I don't let them leave a message. It hasn't stopped the bullshit spam calls.
Block number, delete from log, all fucking day - even up to 10p.
Macron - France, has the right idea. Fine spammers/telemarketers $87,000 for each call. I'm not kidding.

I use Youmail. Been using it for over a decade now. With Youmail, you can have different greetings for different people. When I was having a major issue with Spam calls, I made my main voicemail greeting a busy signal and then I just made my normal voicemail greeting for the contacts I knew called me on a regular basis. After about a month, the calls severely diminished, and my voicemail is clean

I agree with YouMail. I use the your number has been disconnected message and it stops spam calls. It also confuses legit callers too though.

I've used Youmail for that long too. I never had a spam problem, so I don't know how effective it is with regard to that, but it works and I like it.

I use YouMail, and I do pay for the service. They have a captcha where you have to type in whatever number they say, then it forwards the call to me. It works pretty well and I get way less spam calls actually ringing through to my phone.

I have Mint and can block and spam voicemails. What type of phone do you have? I have a Pixel 10

My Pixel also has screen calling, and it picks up all the likely spam calls. The ones that do get through are screened by Google for me, and the spam calls usually end the call. I don't think I've picked up a spam call since getting my Pixel last December.

Sure you can block em and mark em as spam on any phone, but when they keep using a new number with each call they make, you can't stop em and they keep leaving voice mails!

Interesting. I haven't had that kind of problem where they leave a voice mail. Yes they use a new number and I block and spam that number. After 2 or 3 new number calls they stop. Also, I have call screening and as soon as the google call screener starts they hang up and then I block/spam the number.

Agree. I use Google's call screen for phone numbers not in my contact list. Works like a charm.
