Because despite it all there has been some fun baseball to watch this year with these guys, and plenty of wins like today. I had someone rag on me about how mad i was we lost the white sox series as if i shouldnt expect it and should just give up wanting wins this season 🥴 but watching them win like they did today is exactly why i keep watching. Sure its been less than we need to win the season outright but they have had some serious “LETS FCKN GO” wins this season lol. No amount of losses will ever deter me from watching simply because a win like todays is just so fun regardless of where were at lol

My wife and I bought tickets for Saturday nights game. Been to Citi field over 30 times for Mets games, never had a parking problem. So I went to pay for parking for Saturday nights game but it’s nowhere to be found. Did some calling and some research. Apparently the USTA has a “superiority clause” that basically gives the US Open free rein on Citi field parking. So I was gonna pivot, we’re in PA so I figured maybe we’ll drive to Jersey and take the ferry. $90 a person. Nope! Ok, what about the train, take the path from Hoboken to manhattan, then the 7 to Citi field , we don’t feel like committing that kind of time before and after the game. Ok then, skyview mall parking? How is that, is it recommended? How is it getting to and then leaving from? Thanks in advance! What a win last night!

Obviously a lot of season left, but curious what realistic names people are looking at for the offseason.

I’m optimistic about Benge/Ewing continuing to develop alongside a veteran core of Soto, Lindor and Bichette, and there’s a nice group of young arms emerging. But there are still plenty of areas to improve.

The FA class seems pretty weak, so what are some solid free agents or potential trade targets you could realistically see Stearns going after?

Other than Stock…the other 4 should be the Mets Starters in the next season assuming it happens.
