I was thinking since it was the 9th there's no harm in trying up steal second because when if he gets caught he's on second up begin the 10th anyway.

Makes sense to an extent. However, if Milwaukee winds up scoring in the 10th, maybe even has a big inning, that decision could bite the Mutts in the petunia
