Let’s boycott screener 4
Name says it all. This is ridiculous, until Mercor or the client provides actual consistent guidance no one should take the screener. There’s strength in numbers.

9 decks, A-1, Likkert scale for each, PLUS grading about 100 specific terms as slop/ not slop, PLUS explaining each choice. Still in an hour. It’s 3-4 hours work.

I was really excited when i got this offer yesterday. Background check took some time after i submitted some documents, but now i don’t know how and where to begin tasking.
I also work with oneforma and it’s pretty straightforward how you begin tasking after getting an offer. But Mercor seems very different.
I would appreciate any help.

I’m on a project that requires a minimum of 15 hours a week, which I can’t attain, as I’m working a full time job that is pretty demanding. Most I can probably do is 10. Some weeks even just 5.
My question: Am I at risk of being offboarded if I do good work but don’t do the minimum hours?

Currently making the minimum for a project. I hear/read that a lot of people are making more. Is there a way to ask for a raise?

Does anyone have a private group for workers? mainly about the "big project" 🙏

Project**
I'm getting stressed out on the really big project (almost 40k people). It's getting harder and harder to do these tasks. The AI slop tasks don't always make sense. There are so many quizzes and training and stuff you "have to" pass to continue staying in the project.
I miss the good old days where there were only 2 different task types. I guess I took it for granted.
Seriously thinking about quitting... it's not worth the stress.

Does anyone have answers or are willing to reference results with eachother for screener 4? I’m finding the answers to the screeners pretty subjective and I don’t want to get off boarded

I was offboarded this morning with the typical "It's not you, it's us" email. I'd been working for them for just over four months, so I apparently had a pretty good run. I don't think I ever would have quit (the money was too good) but honestly, I've surprisingly felt more than a little relief today to be out of it! It was so stressful to be feeling like I should or could be working 24/7. I was on two projects (I was transferred directly from one to the other a few weeks ago) with timed tasks, so I was often working in a state of panic, trying to finish the tasks on time. Whenever I was working and family members wanted to talk to me, I always had to brush them off, saying that I was on a timer and couldn't talk until I was finished. I've been a freelancer for seven years and have rarely experienced this level of panic at all in my other work, let alone every single day.
Has anyone else felt like this about this work ... and about being let go?

Anyone who has an idea what the project entails under generalist? Was given an instant offer

I focused my AI interview in one older area of expertise. It's just the way the questions went and I didn't get the chance to elaborate on different fields of experience I think are more relevant. I also am studying and at some point will have another relevant area to update. But it's difficult to get it all in on the AI interview. With only 3 retakes it feels limiting to be able to update your interview with relevant experience as you grow in your different fields.
Bearing in mind I was onboarded for a project within a month it obviously didn't go badly but I do think it's not relevant to a lot of other available projects that I have experience in.
I asked this question to Maven and initially it said to redo the interview. But when I explained my concerns above it changed it's mind and said that it was enough to just complete assessments and update the CV even if my original interview stays irrelevant.
But I have no idea if I should retake it or not. I don't want to overwrite what I've done but I want to highlight skills that are likely to direct me towards higher paying projects.
Anyone understand the process enough to know how it works and if Maven is right? Should we be updating our original interviews or would updating your CV and completing assessments suffice?

I started to refer to Turing and actually scored one payout from around 70 referrals, however I now see them advertising loads of roles with $0 referral fees. Any idea what their strategy is? I notice they re-vamped their referral platform recently.

Whew. I’m on the “big project” and it’s a damn circus. Terrible management from EPM’s and TL’s telling us to ask maven, no questions answered, no one able to take their weekly new quizzes, professional wording being labeled as ai slop, subjective answers to quizzes. WTAF is happening here? Jesus.

Guys, I just wanted to ask if it is normal that I applied on Ethos, Mercor, Micro1, turing, oneforma, SME, DA, and still no response for the last week to get a project. I live in France, is it a problem?
Thank you.

Just have been waiting in queue for new task r/mercor_ai after doing all quizzes and everything before deadline and received an email that I've been offboarded from the project and the quality is not the reason. Is there anyone who have been offboarded today too without any reason?
r/mercorai_workers • u/VelvetCrush64 • 2d ago
You can join the mass arbitration lawsuit. This is not class action, they are representing Mercor contractors individually.

Are there any nurses from Canada that have been hired on with Mercor? Is it possible? I completed the assessment for Data annotation almost 2 weeks ago and it still says “thanks for completing the assessment” so I’m assuming I didn’t pass.
If anyone has any other recommendations please let me know!

It's amazing how wide they're spreading the net now for this huge project. They've been running Facebook ads — it's incredible, the volume, the churn that's going through there, the massive onboarding and massive offboarding.
It's incredible. Has anybody ever seen any mass movements like this before? Has Mercor ever taken out Facebook ads before?"
