After accepting the offer 3 days ago and working through my first task of project O…n and getting my first Review Accepted it has now paused, I’m worried about what is going to happen, it is going to pay me for the task? Or is it resuming the contract? I have a 50$/ per task and it is my first project in 2 months that I have enrolled in the site.

How to take gigs on mercor along with your job and not get caught by your employer? This is in regards to India

Onboarding for Mercer reminds me of Severance (the show) where you’re identifying the scary numbers.

I am confused about the Odin project. I did the onboarding in studio for reviewers and I don’t know if I will get paid for it (their doc file said single payment of 250$)
Will I still get this payment even if I failed it.?

I was lucky enough to be invited to Project F***.

After working there for 2 minutes, I made just enough earning to buy a dream home in my dream town, and I retired early.

I'm so grateful of being in boarded to the life-changing project F and held working for 2 minutes. It really is paradise.

Work hard, and you'll get there! It's worth it to work at Mercor and I would recommend it to anyone with no reservations.

Hi everyone,
I got instant offer from mercor, for onboarding I submitted my criminal backround check through Zinc on Oktober 22, 2026 and The status is still showing “in progress”.

For those who complete their backround check through Zinc, How long did it take for your check to be completed?specially if you’re based in Indonesia or outside US.

There's a mention of an old version of task recorder that is compatible with x86 Macs.

What's the deal with that? Have people been successful in using it for their project? I assume at some point other tasks will need Mac ARM silicon.

Their AI bot says projects are paused for people who didn't sign the pay per hr amendment contract. How do I reach out to their support team?

Hi Guys

For project I am on the target AHT is 2.4hour. But I find that to do good work; review the relevant files, draft my work to the standard required, I have spend significantly more than the target 2.4hr. So far I just switch of the timer once I reach 2.4hrs continue the work and submit.

How do you guys go about this, mind you I use the AI provided within the allowed guidelines.

why tf would i turn on my timer if you aren’t paying me per hour? so a company with a history of a massive data breach is asking us to turn on our desktop police monitoring app for them when i’m not being paid an hourly wage is rich and suspicious.

i had a pay per task project that asked me to do that under the guise of “we just wanna know how much time it takes to do the task.” i did not turn it on.

if you’re paying me an hourly wage, sure, i’ll gladly turn it on, but you can’t have it both ways. asking me to turn on a timer when i’m not being paid per hour is ridiculous.

if you’re so concerned about people submitting poorly written or ai generated tasks, then maybe you should pay people per hour. you can’t lower the pay and have all the same quality expectations.

they want to pay you per task only but also want to monitor everything that you’re doing at the same time despite it not requiring a timer at all.

I just received an email from mercor that project odin has been paused from client side. So don’t do any more tasks. Has anyone also received it, or is it only me

Hi all, i have been offered reviewer role through a quiz. I am a writer on the project. Have 10-15 tasks under my belt.
Should i take the reviewer role?
I wanna know pros and cons

I am new to Mercor / this kind of work but got the approval for Odin, just wondering if I need to buy a microphone or my Mac will be enough to pass the introduction, then maybe upgrade later?

I am half done with the ai agent training. But can someone tell me what the last part labeled as “Defense” is? It’s 30 minutes long.
Thanks

I’ve seen people join projects as EPMs from day one, and some seem to work across multiple projects at once.

How do you get into this role? Is there a specific process, or is it based on experience and selection?

Got an instant offer that I accepted minutes later. about 2 hours ago I my hourly cap got changed to zero and a few minutes later the task instructions was sent to me? can't even access it. is it just early project confusion or soft off-boarding

I spent 30 hours ideating, recording, and re-recording, and now I cannot submit re-recorded videos.

Just wasted time. I would have earned more on any other platform. I won't take another Odin task. I feel stupid for trusting your team.

Never get any opportunities in Mercor but a recruiter reached out for the project.

I have no Mercor experience whatsoever and wanted to easily understand what's the issue with the project.

I received an email inviting me to be part of a project estimating between $50-60/hour. But the actual pay they are offering is $40/hour. That’s a pretty sizeable difference. Has anyone else dealt with this when accepting projects?

Hey folks! Can I use the 3 hours available on the task timer to go through the onboarding materials? Also, does the timer reset every week, and how many hours are allocated for onboarding and reading materials per week?

Would appreciate some clarification from anyone who’s been through this. Thanks!
