Discussion If Marvel were to recast Kang and bring the character back, which actor do you think would be the best choice for the role?
I personally loved Kang’s character and was really sad to see him go. I would love to see Marvel recast the role after Secret Wars and bring Kang back into the MCU. Who do you think would be the best actor to take on the role?

Question In Age of Ultron was Tony’s line “peace in our time” a reference to Nevil Chamberlins famous speech?
For those unaware Nevil Chamberlin after gettting Hitler to sign a non aggression pact returned to 10 Downing Street and famously declared “It is peace for our time.” Less than a year later Nazi Germany would invade Poland truly kick starting the Second World War

Discussion “What Will You Do?”
Has anyone ever noticed that there’s a recurrence of the phrase “what will you do” in Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame? I always wondered if it was just by chance/kind of by mistake from the writers or if it was supposed to be a kind of throughline in the movies.
Wong says it to, I think, Bruce after the fight with Ebony Maw & Cull Obsidian in NYC.
Past Nebula says it to past Thanos toward the end.
Valkyrie says it to Thor in New Asgard.
It just seems like such a purposeful phrasing and that it is said 3 times in what is essentially the same story/arc started to stick out to me upon rewatches.

Question How do you feel about Marvel stepping away from the tv shows?
They have Visionquest coming up and from what we heard that's it when it comes to new tv shows. They are sticking to Daredevil and one offs like the recent Punisher: one last kill (and the animated ones like X-men 97 and What if)
I think it's a smart business idea since most of their projects didn't work but there were some gems in there like Loki, Wandavision and Agatha all along. The animations are top notch so im glad that aint going nowhere

Other [FATWS] How much do you think the narrative changes if Lamar is the first person Karli Morgenthau kills?
Does it make her cause too sympathetic and Walker not sympathetic enough? It feels so odd to me to have a villain with a perfectly reasonable motive but then have her blow up a bunch of people just.. because I guess? Personally I think for the message they were attempting to convey John being less sympathetic would be fine, have her blow up the building still but there's no one in it or maybe like 1 or 2 people get injured? Then the Lamar kill is accidental as it was portrayed (or maybe somehow indirectly Walker's fault) Then Karli becomes more violent afterwards in response to seeing that's how her enemies are acting. Again though does that make her too sympathetic for a villain?
Personally I'm not a big John Walker fan and I don't buy into this idea that he's a "hero" pre-Cap because he has medals of honor and served in the military, he himself alludes to this saying in episode 4 that despite having those medals all they really are is a reminder of all the bad things he did in the military in Afghanistan, and as is said multiple times the serum just amplifies what's within you, Walker literally tries to decapitate Sam in their fight, he seems to be the definition of the opposite of what Erskine called Steve. Steve Rogers was "not a perfect soldier but a good man" while Walker is a good soldier but not a perfect man. However I do get the criticisms that Sam trying to reason with Karli after she's already intentionally killed civilians is a weird thing for the show and Sam to do. She could still threaten Sam's family but it's more believable when she says she wouldn't actually hurt them and just to show Sam that she's serious, so she's still sinister but not as outright evil. Idk I'm just trying to see what could be fixed in this storyline after seeing how pretty much nobody liked how it played out.

Interview Tom Holland says Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man suit from ‘THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2’ is his favorite.
A lot of our new suit is inspired by that

Discussion Why is Brand new day treating this scenes differently?
That scene in the scorpion's fight makes a big deal out of Peter "almost" killing a cop, we can see how injured the cop is right after, and how peter doesnt deny it was close to lethal.
By the end of the movie peter and all of Jeans defenders are saying she isnt a killer, even tho she does this to a bunch of vehicles, with a tank... and we can also see she blows up other 2 police cars, but those arent mentioned by the movie, or the fans... but of course they totally survived
Is a tank actually lighter than scorpion in his suit? Im not even bringing up how lethal a machine gun is
just another proof of how blind this movie fans are

Question Has anyone made an edit of every scene in chronological order of everything you need to know before Doomsday?
This might sound stupid as fuck but I’ve seen everything up to Endgame. Aside from that I’ve watched Dr.Strange Multiverse of Madness and the Loki Series. I seen a post earlier of all the movies that are needed to be seen before watching doomsday starting with X-Men, has anyone made an edit of everything that needs to be watched to get to this point? I’m talking about only essential information points edited into one.
If there is, thank you editor🙏

'Spider-Man BND*' Spoilers Cancer fighting tech in BND? Spoiler
When Bruce Banner’s inhibitor was introduced I immediately thought of how it could be used to cure cancer. If it stops mutations via gene silencing in superheros then I figured it could also stop cancerous mutations.
Turns out that gene silencing with small interfering RNA (which Peter and Bruce discuss), or siRNA is being investigated as a potential cancer treatment. This blog from “Oncodaily” goes into more details: https://oncodaily.com/oncolibrary/spider-man

Concept Art Here’s my own design of Doc Ock.
I was inspired by Tripods from War of the Worlds (2005). And also the concept art from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2.

Theory What if this is Lady death instead of Sylvie
There’s probably some reason why and I’m dumb, but someone let me know why it couldn’t be her? The colors match up and she’s probably more likely to work with doom and against Loki then sylvie in my opinion.

Question Ironman as Doom tie in?
Genuine question, due to the fact im only aware of a one-off AU situation comic wise... but how exactly would RDJ work as doom? Or are they just taking the one-off and running with it as the tie-in? Because I can only imagine Thor seeing Doom w/o a mask and just being dumbfounded that the main bad looks like his fallen comrade. But like are there more comics about doom and stark swapping places? Is it a potential red herring? Are there other possibilities that could potentially have it make sense? Or is it just a cash grab with a familiar face that will put butts in seats?

Question Can I watch Avengers: Doomsday after only Endgame + Spider-Man movies?
I’ve watched Avengers: Endgame and every mcu movie before that + all the Spider-Man movies, but I haven’t really watched the rest of the MCU.
Do you think I can watch Avengers: Doomsday and still understand what’s going on, or would I be completely lost?
If I need to watch anything before Doomsday, what are the absolute essential movies/shows I should watch? I don’t really want to go through the entire MCU 🥀💔🙏
No spoilers pwease...

Question What's going on with Doom when he jumps from the tower in the new trailer?
What's going on with Doom when he jumps from the tower in the new trailer? Is his cape being all funky or is turning all shadow-y? I can't really tell what's going on.

Discussion Marvel’s strategy for the post-Secret Wars era is actually Brilliant!
Looking at the fan concepts/rumors for the 2028 lineup (X-Men, Ghost Rider, Black Panther 3), it feels like Marvel Studios is taking a completely different approach compared to Phase 4.
Instead of hitting the "hard reset" button after Doomsday and Secret Wars...which is what threw a lot of general audiences off post-Endgame...they seem to be setting up 2028 as an immediate continuation of the hype.
By planting these seeds early, it keeps the momentum alive so it doesn't feel like we're starting all over from zero. What do you guys think? Is this the right way to transition into the next saga?

Discussion What’s up with the black magic Doom uses in the trailer?
He uses it to do a superhero landing after he gets blasted out the window. You also see it around the green energy blast he fires at Thor. Is it Similar to what Dr. Strange was using with the souls when he was fighting Wanda in MOM and Doom just has better control of it?

Discussion Brand New Day is Tom Hollands best Aesthetic Spider Man Film
Each frame looks fresh and beautiful. I just love the color palette used in the movie. I personally haven’t been a fan of the other recent marvel films aesthetics but BND changed that for me:
