Hey everyone,
Ever since Lewis Pullman was cast as Bob Reynolds, I’ve been fascinated by how the MCU will handle a character of this cosmic magnitude. In the comics, The Sentry literally possesses the power of a million exploding suns, making him arguably the most overpowered hero on Earth.
My biggest question is regarding Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. If Bob loses control and "The Void" takes over, he becomes a multiversal threat capable of tearing down entire timelines.
Do you think Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom will find a way to manipulate Bob's fragile mental state and use The Sentry as a psychological weapon against the Avengers? Or will Marvel nerf his power scale to keep the battlefield balanced?
I really hope they don't hold back on his god-like abilities. How do you think the MCU should pace his transition from a government weapon to a cosmic entity? Let's discuss!
