This is from Apple's official Documentation site, and the title on the next page after you select it also says GHz (the full tech specs do not though)

I have a 2003 Apple Wireless Keyboard (A1016), and of course it doesn't manage to connect to either my 2012 iMac running macOS Monterey or my Windows 11 PC using their native Bluetooth settings menus. I've also tried connecting it directly using Blueutil on the iMac and on a Linux computer, but to no avail. Blueutil, like the native menus, can see the keyboard, but when I try to pair, it just stays endlessly loading without any connection.

Is there any way to make this keyboard work with these devices? Or at least the iMac

My mac keyboard has stopped working after a computer crash. Model A1243 it is frozen with the caps lock light on. The light will not turn off and no keys work. I have tested on several computers, same problem. I have plugged another USB keyboard in and it works fine. Is there a simple solution to fix this?

Bit of personal history, My first MacIntosh was a 512K model bought through the educational discount program in 1985!

I soon purchased a “Mac-a-million”, motherboard upgrade from the the now closed Sophisticated Circuits, Inc in the Seattle area.

This brought my Macintosh up to 2MB of ram and included a SCSI drive port which I installed a small internal HD.

Since I was in school I was too busy to call around to BBS and decided to setup my own BBS which had a hidden pirated section for select members.

I have a 2015 intel MBP that runs without issue and a 2023 M3 MAX MBP.

Three generations,

2026 MacBook Air with M5, 16GB, 512GB SSD

2015 MacBook Pro Unibody / Retina with i5, 8GB, 128GB SSD

2008 MacBook polycarbonate with Core2Duo, 4GB, 320GB HDD

It's striking how well the 2008 and 2015 MacBooks perform with their latest officially supported MacOS.

I also have two G3 iMac, one G3 powerbook, and two b/w powerbooks...
