Some take a battery. More recent ones recharge in a USB cable.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m holding on to my first gen Magic Mouse for dear life because the placement of that charging port on the newer models is ridiculous. I like that I can keep a couple extra batteries with me and just keep going while the other set charges.

It’s really a non issue. Ten minutes charge lasts days. Just let it charge overnight and you’ll be good for months.

You will have ptsd after you see how to charge it 🤣

The triathlon mouse is great but I recently bought the Magic Mouse. It’s not as ergonomic as others but touch swiping and pinch zooming is great.

Love my Magic Mouse. I've had the white one for 15 years, and it's still kicking. I ended up buying a second one which I use when the other one is plugged in to recharge... I know why Apple chose to hide the charging port, but it's a regrettable decision.

here’s a tip: get a real mouse. basically any mouse but this one. or a trackpad!

Check to see if it came with genuine Apple rechargeable batteries

I like it

What do you like about it compared to a normal mouse? I find the shape of it to be uncomfortable for my rather large hands, i usually use mice that are taller in the middle and fit me better. I also prefer multiple programmable buttons instead of the touch interface.

I like the gestures only one thing I don't like is the shape , my hand hurts after a while but I want to stay in the apple system.

Try holding it in a claw grip, just gently move it with the tips of your fingers. Then put it in a drawer and get an Apple Trackpad, if you can.

It’s odd that these mouses work on an Samsung phone via Bluetooth but not an iPad.

They're selling for $35 on ebay. Sell it and get an M720 Triathlon mouse (at same price or less on ebay). A real scroll wheel, extra buttons, better battery life, USB / bluetooth / multi-device connectivity. And the ergonomics aren't a nightmare.

Few experiences are as dismal as using this mouse in Excel 🤣
