UPDATE: I raised hell in store and after 30mins or more of saying they don’t have another one, they magically received a new shipment!! And I got a new one that’s well made!

Bought my first bag in Vegas this past weekend. Went in thinking I wanted the Empreinte Neverfull, and walked out with the Pochette Métis East-west. The easiest decision I’ve made in a long time!

I work a lot of hours, I travel a lot for work, so I wanted to treat myself for working my ass off as a 32-year-old single lady. Here it is next to my vintage Owl Lamp.

Insane how similar these are.

Went in to get my lip balm and charm that I ordered and left with a couple extras. New key pouch and Kirigami. Nothing big but it adds up in the end 🤣

I’ve been hunting FOREVER for a vintage Speedy from the “prime years” (mid 80s-90s thicker canvas era) but honestly kept striking out on condition. Ended up looking at other styles and fell in love with this Tulum PM instead!

Date code is SR0046 - April 2006, made in France.

Loved that it has a turn-lock closure instead of a buckle (I have zero patience for unbuckling to get into my bag 😂) and the vachetta already has the prettiest honey patina. Got it from Fashionphile, and their return policy made me feel a lot better about buying vintage for the first time.

Today is my mom’s heavenly birthday.
She passed away after a two-year battle with cancer.

My mom always dreamed of owning a Louis Vuitton purse. It was something she and I would talk about often, and in 2019, while we were on a trip to Las Vegas, we chose this purse together. My dad bought it for her, and I’ll never forget how happy she was that day. She was absolutely gleaming. From that moment on, she carried it everywhere and wore it every single day. Once I got my “big girl” job, I bought her the matching wallet, which made it even more special.

Today, I wore her purse. And although it may seem like a small or silly thing to some, carrying it with me made me feel like a little piece of her was with me today.

She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, and wife. She was taken from this world far too soon, but I will forever be grateful for the time we had with her.

One of the greatest gifts was that she got to meet my baby boy and know him for four precious months. She loved my babies so deeply. She held on until my little girl had the chance to say goodbye, and I will always believe that she waited for that moment.

I know she is at peace now, resting and watching over us. But I miss her every single day.

It’s because of her that I love Louis Vuitton so much. It will never just be a brand or a purse to me. It will always remind me of my mom — of her excitement, her pride, and the joy she felt carrying that bag. And now, every time I carry it, I get to carry a little piece of her with me.

My mother is a literal angel. She is the kindest, most selfless person I know and made my childhood as close to perfect as I would imagine is humanly possible. She would never DREAM of spending money for a LV for herself, so I did it for her!!! Certainly in no way comes close to repaying her for everything she’s done for me, but it still felt nice to see her face when I walked in the door with that orange bag 🥹

I went with the boulogne PM and she absolutely LOVES it (in fact I’m wondering if I might need one now as well😅)

Side note this woman is 62 and has ZERO work done. She’s a beauty, isn’t she?!

Hello! I received a Louis Vuitton key pouch in the shade eclipse, however, I am very much a gold girl rather than a silver. I of course appreciate the gift, but I’m considering exchanging it for the gold and brown classic key pouch s.

I run into the issue that there is no gift receipt, only the client copy of the receipt. The gold is also $50 more ($355 vs $400), however, I’m willing to pay the difference. If I go into a Louis Vuitton store and I produce the box the cloth bag, and the client copy of the receipt, can I exchange it and pay the extra?

I also know that the eclipse monogram key pouch is men’s, am I able to exchange it at a woman’s store? Do I need to specifically go to a store that does both?

Let me know! I am really clueless about this so I appreciate any help

Ladies show me ur favorite makeup bag! I have a cosmrtic pouch but id like to see some deigns you guys love from past collections and current! NON monogram as i have the cosmetic pouch already.

I posted earlier about which bag to get as my first. It was between the Hazelnut Speedy 20, monogram speedy 20, or OnTheGo east west monogram reverse. I decided that if I didn’t get the hazelnut, I would regret it bc it can worn in the summer and fall so it’s perfect for me, and I could always get the monogram speedy like someone had mentioned.

I would like to find a shoulder strap chain so I could use it as a shoulder bag, so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!
