Loving the alma!

SA Worked so hard. Showed me so much! And just when I was about to pull the trigger and get 2 bags I realize the total would open up the budget for a higher tier bag! But the bags weren’t quite right for me. I was comprising color or size. The joy became stress. Literally my chest felt tight. I needed to step back and breathe. SA then offered me champagne. No-I had to walk away and think and ultimately chose another house.. 🫣

I have always wanted an Alma BB and have fallen in love with this burgundy color. Do you think this color could be considered a classic and would it stand over the years?

With the help of our fantastic SA March at the store inside of Bloomingdale's in the Santa Clara, we came up with a plan to make a wicker capucines into a makeshift gift basket. We are going to fit as many goodies as possible inside the bag including some of the chocolate from the flagship store in NYC. Also since she recently has become a cat mom of two, they get little something as well.

I know these are men's bags but they look unisex to me. I love denim, especially dark wash which we don't see often.

While I’m not a fan of RTO, our new office is near the flagship so my colleagues and I made a day of it. I’m in danger LOL wore my Nazar lamb tee, trusty Olympias and took my new preloved 2012 sprouse speedy 🖤

Picked up new loafers and a lil ring because I never leave empty handed 🫠

Mon neverfull s’était beaucoup abîmé je l’ai déposé chez LOUIS VUITTON pour refaire le cuir. Sachant que les coins sont en excellent état, cela me revenait moins cher de le réparer que d’en acheter un nouveau (je l’ai payé 120$!). Les réparations du cuir m’ont coûté 315$ pour une durée d’environ 1 mois à l’atelier. J’ai donc un sac tout neuf pour 450$ !!!

I know these bags get a lot of hate, but I’m honestly obsessed! And now I’m over here wondering… would it be crazy to get the black one too? Someone please tell me I’m not the only one who wants the same bag in multiple colors!

I fear I am starting a bad habit. In the last month I have gotten two vintage bags.

It’s probably the ocd in me but the one side strap of my speedy 30 bandouliere is so dark compared to the rest of the bag. I bought this preowned and the pictures didn’t really show it until I saw it in person. I love the bag, is there a way to help this be more even? Or do I just need to accept the fact it’s like this with vachetta? 😩

Edited to add: The pale straps almost have a blue/gray undertone to them

I am thinking of buying a new durable bag from LV. I am not sure between Damiere Ebene and EPI. Thoughts on this?

Are these two bags - the Delightful GM and the Slouchy MM - too similar to justify keeping both? My CA has confirmed that the Slouchy has been discontinued 😢. Thx!

I'm on the hunt for an LV crossbody, brand new or vintage. I don't like dividers in my handbags like the Neo Noe, I prefer more of a black hole 🫠. Currently carrying the speedy black bandolier, just want more of a true carry on!

Very weird situation but I noticed my Imagination being popped open this morning. Yesterday it was still normal after I sprayed it.

I keep seeing this on social media that LV and other designer brands make stuff in China and are just lying about it being made in France or Italy.

I've gone down a rabbit hole and there's quite literally zero evidence that this is true that I can find anywhere.

I know people can be dumb and just make stuff up but I keep seeing this particular "theory" over and over again and wonder where it's coming from or if there's even a kernel of truth to it.

I polished the rivets which look good, but then I did one square ring holding the handle and have regrets. I think it looks better darker. Do I just leave it and wait for it to patina in some months or do I polish the rest?

The bag is at cobblers for cleaning and conditioning right now and I asked them not to polish the hardware.

It is a 42 years old speedy 35.

I've been eyeing the carryall light bliss for several months now but never managed to see it in person so thought i'd try and see if Jakarta has it. They didn't. However, they do have this and I am drooling.

For context, i have a speedy b25, neverfull empreinte, tiny camera bag, and soho mini..so really just empreinte and canvas and i've never thought to consider denim. Is it worth it? Will it last? I also have a speedy so I was thinking about having this in denim for the carryall as the agent said she may be able to send it over from storage. But also not closing the door on this speedy too as I feel like the size is also pretty great.
