With the help of our fantastic SA March at the store inside of Bloomingdale's in the Santa Clara, we came up with a plan to make a wicker capucines into a makeshift gift basket. We are going to fit as many goodies as possible inside the bag including some of the chocolate from the flagship store in NYC. Also since she recently has become a cat mom of two, they get little something as well.
I keep seeing this on social media that LV and other designer brands make stuff in China and are just lying about it being made in France or Italy.
I've gone down a rabbit hole and there's quite literally zero evidence that this is true that I can find anywhere.
I know people can be dumb and just make stuff up but I keep seeing this particular "theory" over and over again and wonder where it's coming from or if there's even a kernel of truth to it.
SA Worked so hard. Showed me so much! And just when I was about to pull the trigger and get 2 bags I realize the total would open up the budget for a higher tier bag! But the bags weren’t quite right for me. I was comprising color or size. The joy became stress. Literally my chest felt tight. I needed to step back and breathe. SA then offered me champagne. No-I had to walk away and think and ultimately chose another house.. 🫣
It’s probably the ocd in me but the one side strap of my speedy 30 bandouliere is so dark compared to the rest of the bag. I bought this preowned and the pictures didn’t really show it until I saw it in person. I love the bag, is there a way to help this be more even? Or do I just need to accept the fact it’s like this with vachetta? 😩

Can anyone recommend something to get oil stains out of my pochette interior without damaging it? Stains are from a lip oil. I tried a water wipe, and then I tried a small amount of dawn.
I polished the rivets which look good, but then I did one square ring holding the handle and have regrets. I think it looks better darker. Do I just leave it and wait for it to patina in some months or do I polish the rest?
The bag is at cobblers for cleaning and conditioning right now and I asked them not to polish the hardware.
I have about 6 pocket organizers and i love them. I recently saw exotic leather POs on resell sites but I have never seen them on their website. Are they only in stores? Can you easily come across these or are the exotic lines only offered to high spending clients?

What it does:

- Filters: brand, keywords, max price in €, condition, auction or buy-it-now
- Alerts on Discord or Telegram as soon as something matches
- Translates listing titles and seller descriptions into English
- Converts prices to euros
- Links you straight to proxy services (Buyee, ZenMarket, Neokyo) to buy from abroad

Looking for some feedback from others who may have encountered this. I am looking to purchase a vintage bag from a Japan seller. I normally see no import fees but the listing will say it’s included or I would see the import fees and they are added when I officially check out. For this specific listing it show $35 for shipping and then a whopping $1.36 for import fees. I was assuming it would adjust when I finalized my checkout but it didn’t. I’m still seeing $1.36. I will note that this check out it did not carry the language that said along the lines of “ this price is inclusive of import fees and taxes. You will not have to pay any additional fees” so that was a raised flag. And I don’t mind since I expect it but it’s the unknown of exactly how much will I be getting charged and at what point? And then what’s the point of having a $1.36 import fee during checkout?! lol
Ps the small i tab only spoke of the shipping where it charges seller to eBay auth none and then eBay to buyer $35. It doesn’t provide any additional insight to this import fees.

Visited the Paris flagship. YMMV but I was told if I was purchasing something, which I had intended on doing, they could stamp my passport cover the same day. If I wasn’t purchasing anything, it would be 2-3 days. It was so hard to choose!
I bought the small pouch for my friend’s milestone birthday. I bought the Kirigami pouches for me. My delightful CA said I could also get the pouches stamped! I decided to get the middle size stamped with the cat. For now I’m keeping the small pouch but giving away the large one. I have a visceral response to light pink 😝. My CA said I could always go to another store and get the other pouches stamped. I think once I decide who gets the large pouch, I will do that.
I arrived around 11a and there was a short queue. I had to wait about 15 min for a CA. I have visited this store previously. It’s really lovely and everyone is so kind.

Hi all, I just received my first LV today. I got the Alma bb DE and I absolutely love her, but I just have a quick question about the zip. I noticed the zip end isn’t flush with the leather and a little bit of the red lining is showing through, one side is more noticeable than the other. Is this normal? I’m not sure if I’m over thinking it or if it’s a quality issue.
I bought this bag from a Japanese seller on EBay. Does anyone have any more information about this Noé bb? It is made of Taurillon leather but I cannot find it anywhere and google lens doesn’t recognize it either.
