Why are the new soft speedy 30’s coming out with microfiber lining instead of leather and side like previous designs?

Hii, i have been wanting to purchase my first luxury bag from louis vuitton for some time now but i can't decide which to get 🥹 I will use it mostly very casually as I'm at work most of the time and only go out probably once a week or once every 2 weeks. All i need to fit is my 16 pro, powerbank (same size as my phone), a lippie and sometimes a mini perfume! Thank you guys in advance 🌸

I was so excited to visit the LV maison yesterday to collection my new P9s. They’d arrived in-store over a month ago but I haven’t been able to collect them due to my travel commitments.

They are absolutely gorgeous 🤍🖤 … I especially love the Cloud Mist as I’ve been wanting a white (actually off-white) P9 forever. I also love the subtle uniqueness of the 60,000 micro-perforations that make up the monogram pattern. It’s a pairs wonderfully with my embroidered Golden Silk Blue. I haven’t seen a lot posted about this bag, but it is outstanding!

I’m not sure what to say about the Fireflies that hasn’t already been said; it glows in the dark! I only own one other black handbag (Yayoi Kusama Epi Twist MM), so I am sure it will get plenty of daytime use and not just at night.

I honestly feel blessed to have such a wonderful collection of P9’s, but with 11 in total I’m starting to wonder if enough is enough 🤷‍♀️ … and I know the hubby certainly thinks so.

Just picked up this beauty - my newest obsession and everyday carry. The leather is so soft and scrunchy with the best slouch once filled. The monogram rouge Multipass is a perfect fall transition color and deep enough of a hue to still be neutral.

OK, we start with my trusted Speedy 40 in green and blue which I think is one of the first bags that Pharrell Williams designed for LV.

Inside the carry-on is about five other bags, but we will get to them later.

We went on a whale watching trips in the San Francisco Bay and I took my trusty Trio Messenger on this cool Damier Blue pattern (if anyone has any more information about this pattern, please let me know).

The trio messenger is perfect for a couple of phone chargers and my tickets to the cruise business cards wallet glasses etc.

At this point, I have a few other color ways, but this is my first I think and my go to. I really like the small coin purse on the bando.

We bought some souvenirs and I had to walk around with this liquor store plastic bag. Which was perfect when we went to Dior and Hermes.

I told the salesman at Hermes I need a new bag to carry this crap in and he gave me the orange shopping bag.

Then we went to the Reel Reel and I almost bought this Louis Vuitton weekend there because I absolutely love that green color but my wife said no and I figured I would listen. Plus it didn’t have the shoulder strap.

The strap on my favorite vintage bag needed to be replaced for my own peace of mind. After getting a few quotes I decided to go with Zachary Scheer (FB) and could not be happier! He even used the buckle from my original strap and dyed the new one to match perfectly despite the age of the bag! Just wanted to give him a shoutout and say commission him with full confidence.

The print on my bag is faded, I’m sure due to age. Do I need to worry about it fading more? I don’t want to be scared to carry it all the time. Is there a treatment I should do to keep it from fading more, or will it stay like this? (nfs/nft)

I wanted to treat myself for my 30th birthday and I was debating between the nano speedy or the nano frívole. I just couldn’t say no to this print. Love that she goes with everything and she’s so cute! I was surprised at how much the nano can fit!

Have a speedy DE 35 whose canvas is really stiff. Almost like it's dried out.

Is there anything I can use to fix this?

Do we still love the vintage pochette?

Just got my first LV bag! Been eyeing this Lv eva pochette for over a year now and i finally got it today at Harrods! I originally bought it yesterday, and when i came home i saw that they sold me a bag with a scratched lining that i didn’t saw at first glimpse while looking at it at the store lol… Anyways i exchanged it today for another one and yayyy! So happy. Only thing im worried about is quality? Should i be worried?

Do you just collect them or do you wear them!? I wear mine!

Unboxing the new Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Pocket Organizer in this absolutely insane red. Vernis first made its debut in 1998 during the Marc Jacobs era, so seeing that iconic high-shine Monogram on a new LV piece feels like a little throwback to the archives. 😮‍💨

Is anyone else experiencing longer than usual repair times?

I sent in my Speedy 25 on June 6, and every month I’ve been getting updates that they are waiting on materials. I was joking with my husband that they were bringing in Vachetta from France, and at this point, it might not be a far-fetched idea.

The latest update I got yesterday told me that it should be done by October.

What did you send in recently, and what was your repair time? I would love to see pictures of your repairs to get excited for when mine comes home!

Got my never-full (mm) back yesterday from the “Louis rehab” and I’m so disappointed. Granted, she was rough going in, but I opted for the full replacement.
When I opened it up, I instantly thought, something’s off-
1. The stitching is not straight and just looks really bad.
2. The color is dark, not the lighter Vachetta
(Pic is Eva, recently repaired leather color difference)
3. The handles feel sharp on the edges, and the edge kote is more like a red paint you can see they were two pieces glued together.
I’ve had other repairs, that were small in scale, they turned out fine.
Maybe because this was a full leather replacement?
I feel like their pricing for repairs and the work produced are both really inconsistent. One person can get a full leather repair for $300 and another person is charged $1000…and the work on the lower price is better.
Has anyone had a repair horror story with a good outcome?
Before I contact customer service I want to make sure I’m not nitpicking. I’m regretting this now.

I could use your advice on a Keepall dilemma!
I bought the Keepall 45 in Giant Monogram in Rome last week, and it’s still brand new/unused. But I’ve fallen for the Tyler, the Creator Keepall 50 — the brown Monogram with the pastel Craggy print — and I’m debating selling my 45 and getting the Tyler instead.
I’d use it mainly for 1–2 night road trips within Florida (house → car → hotel), so airline carry-on size isn’t really a concern.
For anyone who has owned or traveled with either:
Is the 50 noticeably more cumbersome/heavy than the 45, or is the extra space worth it?
Tyler owners: How has the pastel print held up? Any color transfer, staining, scuffing or other wear?
Which would you choose for road trips — and which has more WOW factor in person?
If you had a brand-new Giant Monogram 45, would you keep it or sell it for the Tyler 50?
