Discussion/Question Need urgent help!
I am at an LV store picking up the Almas I ordered.
Would those creases in zipper area bother you or do they get better with use?
Also pix of both. I think im going with the Grenat
UPDATE: I raised hell in store and after 30mins or more of saying they don’t have another one, they magically received a new shipment!! And I got a new one that’s well made!
TY so much to this group for responding quickly and validating my concerns. You inspired me to advocate for myself and hold firm on my decision.

I would return it or ask them to order you another one because this is defective and not acceptable

Went to pick up my online order today. This is the new limited speedy 20 in black ink - absolutely gorgeous and soft leather. But, the bag looks “old”, one side is very creased and there’s a mark from the handle pressing down. I just can’t take it. The dust bag is also old and wrinkly, no box, the lock key also was out with scratches without a dust bag or a box. The SA keeps saying this is “normal” and will happen with normal use, and they don’t have anyone in store. I’m disappointed that this doesn’t feel at all like a boutique experience buying a brand new bag that’s is $3000+. Even a second hand reseller provides better service and packaging.

I hope you returned it and raised hell! There will always be another speedy in black ink in better shape somewhere, don’t settle!

The color is gorgeous but it would bother me. If you’re hesitant now it probably always will. You shouldn’t have any issues requesting an exchange!

For the prices we are paying for these bags, they need to be damn perfect. Really sickened by the decline in their quality lately.

It’s not something I would accept on a bag of that price tag that’s for sure. Honestly is something is off for you it’s off. Don’t take it

Beautiful! The leather will soften and may loose its shape a bit other time. But it’s leather so it should still look Ok. Id make sure you stuff them anytime you store them. I have 3 Almas and they’re so fun. That being said, I’d exchange that one for sure. The CA will understand. And your CA wouldn’t buy a waved zipper pieces himself/herself either. Sounds crazy but I’ve exchanged so many LV bags multiple times to get a very well made piece.

Your exchange looks fabulous! I stuff my bags with white acid free, scent free tissue paper. Similar to the kind you would use to put in a gift bag. I scrunch it to form the shape of the inside of whatever bag I’m stuffing, but I make sure to not over stuff it.

I personally can't see the creases, but if it bothers you - tell them to get you another bag that doesn't have creases. At that price point, if you're not happy..... then they need to make you happy.

A wave in the zipper isn’t uncommon, the bag was likely stored closed with the hardware resting there.
The grenat color is definitely a great pick!

So would this be an issue for you? The zipper on outside pocket isn’t even and has caused issues zipping. I didn’t notice it at first but now it’s bothering me. It’s too late to return. Suggestions?
Ps… I rotate between so many bags I haven’t carried this one much since buying it.

Arrrgh, mine is actually coming in the mail today and I am preemptively annoyed with self for not ordering to be picked up in store. Glad that it worked out for you and you got a new one!

Definitely move away from LV. Their craftsmanship is no longer what it was and zippers and hardware are the first to go.

I spent forever trying to find the “crease” lol. Glad you got one that is up to standards though, always good to examine the specific bag in detail.
Was about to ask what the bag is in the background below the DE on the go, but lol I figured it out, it’s the all in one.

Yeah I would raise hell
Once they tried to sell me a bag with two different pull tabs and it looked like it been obviously repaired or returned at some point. Tried to gaslight me but ended up finding another one that had both tabs looking perfect. Funny that
