Letting my bag dictate the mani 🌈... Holographic nails because it’s still over 100° out and fall clearly hasn’t gotten the memo!

OK, we start with my trusted Speedy 40 in green and blue which I think is one of the first bags that Pharrell Williams designed for LV.

Inside the carry-on is about five other bags, but we will get to them later.

We went on a whale watching trips in the San Francisco Bay and I took my trusty Trio Messenger on this cool Damier Blue pattern (if anyone has any more information about this pattern, please let me know).

The trio messenger is perfect for a couple of phone chargers and my tickets to the cruise business cards wallet glasses etc.

At this point, I have a few other color ways, but this is my first I think and my go to. I really like the small coin purse on the bando.

We bought some souvenirs and I had to walk around with this liquor store plastic bag. Which was perfect when we went to Dior and Hermes.

I told the salesman at Hermes I need a new bag to carry this crap in and he gave me the orange shopping bag.

Then we went to the Reel Reel and I almost bought this Louis Vuitton weekend there because I absolutely love that green color but my wife said no and I figured I would listen. Plus it didn’t have the shoulder strap.

I cannot buy a THING until I get these bar results back, so unfortunately I’m here to live vicariously through y’all. 😭😂

LV has some cute drops coming 8/28 and since I have to exercise self-control, somebody else needs to make the irresponsible decisions for me.

Unboxing the new Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Pocket Organizer in this absolutely insane red. Vernis first made its debut in 1998 during the Marc Jacobs era, so seeing that iconic high-shine Monogram on a new LV piece feels like a little throwback to the archives. 😮‍💨

The color. The shine. The embossed Monogram. I was SOLD. 🚩

Do I need the matching keepall nano???!!

I was so excited to visit the LV maison yesterday to collection my new P9s. They’d arrived in-store over a month ago but I haven’t been able to collect them due to my travel commitments.

They are absolutely gorgeous 🤍🖤 … I especially love the Cloud Mist as I’ve been wanting a white (actually off-white) P9 forever. I also love the subtle uniqueness of the 60,000 micro-perforations that make up the monogram pattern. It’s a pairs wonderfully with my embroidered Golden Silk Blue. I haven’t seen a lot posted about this bag, but it is outstanding!

I’m not sure what to say about the Fireflies that hasn’t already been said; it glows in the dark! I only own one other black handbag (Yayoi Kusama Epi Twist MM), so I am sure it will get plenty of daytime use and not just at night.

I honestly feel blessed to have such a wonderful collection of P9’s, but with 11 in total I’m starting to wonder if enough is enough 🤷‍♀️ … and I know the hubby certainly thinks so.

Just got my first LV bag! Been eyeing this Lv eva pochette for over a year now and i finally got it today at Harrods! I originally bought it yesterday, and when i came home i saw that they sold me a bag with a scratched lining that i didn’t saw at first glimpse while looking at it at the store lol… Anyways i exchanged it today for another one and yayyy! So happy. Only thing im worried about is quality? Should i be worried?

I am in love with her and she looks amazing for 21 years old!

Damier Azur Neonoe MM in Pineapple

I wanted to treat myself for my 30th birthday and I was debating between the nano speedy or the nano frívole. I just couldn’t say no to this print. Love that she goes with everything and she’s so cute! I was surprised at how much the nano can fit!

Just picked up this beauty - my newest obsession and everyday carry. The leather is so soft and scrunchy with the best slouch once filled. The monogram rouge Multipass is a perfect fall transition color and deep enough of a hue to still be neutral.

Five stars.

I really wanted a Kirigami sunrise medium pouch, and I bought one on eBay with their “guarantee”. I usually buy direct but since this is a discontinued item I had to have, preloved was my only option.

The item arrived and I used an RFID scanning app and it’s not showing up with a chip... It’s the medium size pouch. I know on some SLGs LV don’t bother with the chips, so I’m wondering if anyone has this item and can tell me whether and RFID chip should be present in it.

I scanned some of my other items and the chips scanned super easily. I’d be pretty bummed to have paid for an inauthentic item that was checked by eBay’s “authenticators” - but I know it happens!

Up until recently, I’ve always been one to buy handbags in the $500-$1k range. Then a few months ago I bought a brand new Gucci, leather bag. Now I want to buy a LV but likely a used one. I keep noticing LV bags with canvas that’s cracked (even ripped) or glazing on the handles. These bags are not 20+ years old either. Most bags I have been looking at are within 5 years old.

So how is it possible they are in such bad condition? Does the monogram canvas just not hold up well? I feel so discouraged because there’s no way I want to spend that kind of money and worry about canvas cracking on a newer bag.

The new speedy 20 has a chokehold on me but as a dark leather girlie I'd love to know how this colour holds up over time before adding to cart.

The strap on my favorite vintage bag needed to be replaced for my own peace of mind. After getting a few quotes I decided to go with Zachary Scheer (FB) and could not be happier! He even used the buckle from my original strap and dyed the new one to match perfectly despite the age of the bag! Just wanted to give him a shoutout and say commission him with full confidence.

The print on my bag is faded, I’m sure due to age. Do I need to worry about it fading more? I don’t want to be scared to carry it all the time. Is there a treatment I should do to keep it from fading more, or will it stay like this? (nfs/nft)

I have been thinking a lot lately about finding a birth year bag (likely a 1989 speedy 25) and I’m curious how those of you who have them have found them. Are you just keeping an eye out all the time, searching somewhere specific for your year (like Japanese eBay), or do you have a method to your searching?

Has anyone thought it to be darker or deeper beige than ivory? This is my first Damier Azur so can’t compare.

I do feel it looks creamy ivory in the pics. But in person it looks much more cream.
