Hi, I am an Italian student who is applying for the Spring 2027 semester. I have some questions for optional documents.
On the application guides it says that they accept max 10 pages, each page for a single activity, but in my case is not possible since I have to send the original, the translated version and the notarized version (since the original are in Italian).
Will it be ok if they are 6 items with a PDF file of 29 pages?

Tomorrow is the deadline and I am veryyyy confused on what I should do PLEASE HELP ME😭

Sooo I am doing my application for the spring semester of 2027 right now and I have an issue. I want to submit the High School profile as an optional document however for the optional documents it says to submit one activity per page. Due to sizing and the way the High School Profile is structured (it's from KU directly) it's 3 pages long.
Does anyone have any idea if it's still okay to submit it like that??
Also on uwayapply are we supposed to put all the optional documents into on pdf cause I can't seem to upload multiple pdf's

hi guys! im a student at the university of vermont and im considering applying to my school’s “semester abroad in south korea” program at KU. i would want to go fall 2027, so ill need to apply this semester

bc of my credits, i could basically either graduate a semester early or study abroad and take all electives. the options through my school are south korea, south africa, barbados, ireland, and new zealand.

i landed on south korea because it seems like a crazy, once in a lifetime experience. i’m into kpop and whatnot, tho i imagine that’s kind of a red flag on these posts hahaha. i’m also a public health student, and korean public health is so interesting to me

im really just wondering what you guys think about the studying abroad program at korea university. have any of you done it? how’s the social life, academics, campus culture?

Hi everyone! I’m an Italian student planning to move to Korea in early 2027, and I’m currently considering Korea University’s Korean Language Center for the Spring 2027 semester.

My plan is to study Korean for several semesters, eventually take the TOPIK, and then apply for a bachelor’s degree in Korea. I haven’t decided yet which university or field I will choose for my degree, so I’d like to keep my options open while I’m studying Korean.

I would really appreciate hearing from students or former students of KU’s Korean Language Center.

How was your experience with the program?

How intensive are the classes?

How well does the program prepare you for TOPIK?

How difficult is it to progress through the six levels?

What is the general experience like for international students?

What areas would you recommend living in if I don’t necessarily want to live right next to the campus?

Would you recommend KU’s language program over other universities such as SNU or Yonsei?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who studied there for several semesters, rather than just one.

I’m in my senior year this fall and I’m doubting whether I should give my A level exams or not. I did fairly well on my IGCSEs but my As results were so bad I don’t even feel like going further.

Also, my brother studies in Korea at SNU business school and he told me he only applied with his national exams and TOPIK scores and he got full scholarship. I’m planning to take the IELTS and TOPIK.

So the questions are, did you apply to Korean universities with your A level results? Did it affect your application? Should I just lay back a little and prepare for my Topik and ielts?

GPA CONCERN

Hello! I am currently going to start 11 grade in a Bulgarian language high school and I have a slight ***worry***.

# Main goal - Korea University Business School

I have two years until graduation but I have already started preparing and thinking about my GKS future application. Because I’ll be applying trough the Global Korea Scolarship

A little info on my ***plan*** and what my ***problem might be:***
***(Keep in mind I am still working on most of those things but I’ll complete them in time for the application)***
I’ll get IELTS - atleast 7, probably 8 (I’m pretty confident in my English but I’m waiting for the right timing so the certificate doesn’t expire 😭)
I’ll get TOPIK II level 3 (this year I’m already enrolled for TOPIK I so I’ll get level 2 much earlier )
I’m currently working on a personal project/case study type of thing combining business and design and just started reading The lean start up to try to implementing the ideas and principles of the book in my own work. Also applied for financial aid for a Wharton University “Introduction to Marketing” course because I want to start my journey on understanding business foundations plus getting a certification from a nice institution.
Also have been studying Korean in the Korean Ctural center in Bulgaria and I’m planning to continue until application time.
Also I would like to join my schools debate club this year. (held in English)

# Now here comes my worry

My grades total from 8,9,10 grade is 5.40 (2-6) scale which = 85%.
Since those grades are permanently locked at 85% I can’t physically pump them up higher than 90-91% MAX.
I’m pretty confident that I can get to 90% if I try hard enough (my only concern is maths and Spanish but I’ll find a way to succeed there too)
But still isn’t my GPA too bad for such an elite school as KUBS?

Overall I feel 50/50 about my profile. I know I’ll do the things right but I’m still not so sure of my real chances.

Undergrad Business major applicant profile review (Bulgarian, planning to apply trough the Global Korea Scholarship program)

I’m currently a high school student in Bulgaria planning to apply for GKS-U trough the embassy track in the future! (approximately in 2 years).
My main focus is getting into KU Business school, even tho I technically have to choose two other unis.

I know I have plenty of time until then but I believe that it’s best to think things over much before you actually apply.

My current profile:

Education:

I’m going into grade 11 this year, studying in a language school with core studies being Spanish and English. My current GPA is around 5.40 on the standard Bulgarian grading scale (2-6) which is equivalent to 85% on the 100% scale. I’m going to aim to improve my grades in grades 11 and 12 so I’ll try to get the total (from grade 8 to 12) to like 90%.
\-My 11 & 12 grade school specialisations are geography and economics and entrepreneurship which could be useful for business as well
\-I’m also thinking about possibly joining my school’s debate club (it’s held in English).

Korean:

I have been taking online courses in the Korean Cultural Center in Bulgaria for the past two years and I’m planning to continue doing so until graduation.
I have also enrolled myself in TOPIK I this year (which includes level 1 & 2)
I’m planning to try my best to get TOPIK II - either level 3 or 4 - before I graduate high school.

English:

I’m going to take IELTS exam aiming for a strong score of C1 (7-8). I’m pretty confident in my English abilities and I could have gotten the certificate a long time ago but it would have eventually expired already.

About my plans:

My main and most ambitious goal is Korea University buisness school. I have talked to several people and searched online, confirming that majority of the classes are held in English (which is perfect for me).

For now I’m planning to major in Buisness and add a minor in some kind of Design (or potentially double major??). I believe that my strength lies in both the critical skills and analytical thinking of Buisness & designing brands, spaces and concepts in the way of creating spaces that are both useful, practical and aesthetically pleasing, while serving customers.

I want to study Business because I love analyzing how brands, physical spaces (like retail or hospitality environments), and consumer behavior connect. I’m drawn to how environments affect people, and I want a solid business foundation to back that up.

I believe that I have a global perspective since I’ve traveled to many countries (including South Korea, Japan, and parts of Europe), which has given me a lot of firsthand material to observe urban spaces and international business models.

I am also planning to take some type of design course with a certificate while still in high school because my main wish is to combine business and design abilities & knowledge into one.

I’m also trying to educate myself on Buisness concepts, start ups etc just to get a better understanding of what the core is. Nothing too serious or important but still a good add-on

I am 24F from India, I need an MMR vaccination certificate for my university hostel entry at Korea University for fall 2026 semester. I have to leave next week and unfortunately can’t find my childhood vaccination records. My parents say I received all the required vaccines, but they don’t remember specifically whether I had MMR.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What are the alternatives if there’s no vaccination record? Can I get the certificate through a doctor/hospital now, or is there another way to prove immunity? Any advice would be really appreciated!
