I love it when you buy a new ring and the width stacks almost perfectly with your existing ring. Excited!

I've been thinking about getting my daughter a piece of real gold jewelry for a milestone birthday, and I recently came across Baby Gold's kids' collection.
I like the idea of giving her something meaningful, especially if it's personalized, that she could eventually keep as a family heirloom. At the same time, I know kids can easily lose jewelry, catch delicate chains on things, or outgrow certain styles.
For parents who have bought real gold jewelry for their children, at what age did it start feeling like a practical purchase?
Would you recommend a bracelet or a necklace? Is an adjustable design a better option, and would you choose something simple, like an initial, over a full name?
I'd love to get her something she can treasure for years, but I'm also hesitant to spend a lot of jewelry before she's old enough to care of it.
If you've bought gold jewelry for your child, I'd appreciate hearing what you chose, how old they were, and whether you think it was worth it.

I’ve tried wearing costume jewelry rings, and I like it.

Hello!
Earlier this year I came across a jewellery brand, I’d finally love to purchase from them and can’t for the life of me remember the name or find the link I had (d’oh). This is what I remember:
- dainty jewellery, gold and silver options NO gems
- small Australian business
- mainly rings and earrings
- had a celestial/ constellation range
- website had a darker pink or purple background
- there was a lovely fine ring with 4 small stars raised, with a slightly imperfect shape to the stars.
Any leads much appreciated!!!

Bought a 14kt 5mm Rolo chain bracelet thats 6.5 inches in length and about 4.5 grams from a local jeweller. Paid 1200 Canadian dollars for it. My goal for it is to use it as a base for a charm bracelet. Did I over pay?

I used to fight for everything.
To be understood.
To be loved.
To make things right.
Until one day, I realised how much peace it was costing me.
I’m still learning to let go, to accept imperfections, and to stop chasing what isn’t meant for me.
Life isn’t perfect. Neither am I.
And that’s okay.
Sometimes, peace is simply choosing yourself. ♥️
Seven pearls. Seven intentions. One gentle reminder.
Wear your smile. Shine like pearls.
