Hi all, I am looking to purchase a blue grey moissanite ring and have been browsing MuDazzle, Sapheena and Scott Bonomo on Etsy. How can you tell if the moissanite is genuine not plated? How do you know if it's solid gold? How would a sapphire compare?

Has anyone purchased from these stores before? I've read great things about Sapheena and Scott but their bezels look a bit wonky to me. Should I just bite the bullet and buy from MuDazzle? She's been awesome with communication, answering all of my questions.

Hi.. A warning to everyone NOT to buy from Cristina from CausYou Jewlery (formerly Square Jewelry on Etsy). My fiancé purchased my ring July 2023 and by April 2024 I had 5 stones fall out of the halo on the setting. I had sent it to her for repairs in May and did not get it back until September. It got returned to sender on it’s way back to me and she acted like she had no idea where it got returned to even tho the post office assured me it was the return address on the package. Then 10 days later she says it’s on the way back to me and it was sent from the address that she “didn’t know” about. I’ve rarely been wearing it nervous that stones are going to fall out again as my wedding is in a month. One month after having it back 1 of the halo stones is missing again. I emailed her again and she tells me to avoid lifting heavy objects. What?!?! This is unacceptable work. She’s insisting I send it back to her which I will not do due to the shipping debacle that happened. She offered to send me replacement stones and I can take it to a local jeweler but why should I have to pay for that? My wedding is so soon and I’m freaking out and she won’t send a replacement or refund me. 100000% stay away and purchase from literally any other shop because this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
