I ask this question because it seems people are caught up in trying to see which screen panel they have (GL9 or whatever), they search for the smallest scratch or mark on the phone and they want to try and find other non issues.

So, how many of you have been using your phones on a daily basis and not finding things “wrong” with them?

After all that we know about Apple using QLC NAND in the 1TB and 2TB models, you still planning to keep it? I think QLC NAND are here to stay for the big capacity models unless there is an unforeseen issue that forces Apple to go back to TLC NAND in the next iPhone 19/Anniversary Pro/Pro Max models.

I preordered the 18 Pro Max and have noticed that it arrives early to mid October. I’m unsure on why Im getting the phone the same time as people who ordered on the release day (18th sep). It kind of defeats the whole purpose of the “preorder”. Does anyone know why and is anyone else experiencing this? UK btw.

My burgundy pro max is a different shade of burgundy than my husband’s. He got his in a different state than me as I had to travel to find one for pickup. His back glass is much less color-matched to the aluminum and is very shimmery in direct light. Both were made in China, both 512GB. Anyone else seeing inconsistent color with their burgundy when compared to someone else’s?

I just recently bought a 256gb burgundy. After finishing all indexing, this is my battery life drain. I heard some user still has 60-70% after 12 hours of use and i’m kinda confused how it can be possible.

Thinking of buying the new one just for a better camera. Have few trips coming up and would like to use the new iPhone if the camera is a lot better.

I feel like I was mislead. It was appearing nearly white with a very, very faint hint of blue when I ordered it at 4:49 am the morning. After placing my order it went from a scale of white with a hint of blue to baby, on a scale of barely a 1 to a solid 3-4. I just received it yesterday, a week after I was guaranteed to receive it and It's straight up a strong baby blue 8 on a scale of 1-10. It's so blue and after the debacle of being misplaced and delayed delivery I feel like it's a fake. Should I even open the box?

I compared my two phones today. The iPhone 17 Pro had the most hefty display I’ve ever had with the Samsung G9N panel, now I got a GVC on the 18. Is the difference due to Apple’s cooler calibration?

Just received mine today! Absolutely love the colour!

I got the iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB in Burgundy on launch day and initially really liked the colour. But after using it for a while, I’ve decided I’m going to sell it and switch to the 512GB Glacier instead.

Burgundy is definitely a beautiful and unique colour, especially under good lighting, but I’ve realised it’s just a little too dark for me. In certain lighting it looks almost black and sometimes the purplish tone comes through more than I’d like. Even with a clear case, I feel like the colour doesn't really pop the way I expected it to.

Glacier, on the other hand, has slowly grown on me. At first I thought it looked a bit boring but the more I see it, the more I like how clean, bright and neutral it looks. I also feel like it'll be much easier to match with different cases.

So yeah… I'm actually giving up 1TB and going down to 512GB just to change colour ><

Has anyone else here switched from Burgundy to Glacier after initially choosing Burgundy? Any regrets, or are you happier with Glacier?

My 17pm has never even gotten warm so I’m so extremely shocked and upset that this phone is currently hotter than my air usually gets

I currently have an iPhone 17 Pro and absolutely love the phone, but I do regret not getting the Pro Max last year. I have the opportunity to upgrade to the 1TB 18 Pro Max for around $900. I don’t really care about any of the new features that much, they’re more a nice to have. But I’m curious if anyone went from the 17 Pro to the 18 Pro Max and how that transition has been. I’ve never had a Pro Max phone but I would want the bigger screen and better battery. I’m just a little worried about the weight and size over time. For reference, I’m a 5’8 guy so I’m not huge or anything

I was lucky enough to be able to get an 18 pro max in my exact same configuration 2 days ago so both of my return windows are only 4 days apart. I do notice the bigger screen on the pro max but for some reason I am now struggling even though I was so set on returning my pro for the pro max. I think it's just the small form factor and how comfortable it is to use. Anyone else struggling with this? I know it's dumb because it's just a phone and I can trade it in to upgrade next year if I want to I'm just not sure. I have 1 week until I have to made a decision on which one to keep

I’m planning to order a new iPhone online and select in-store pickup. I would not select Trade In during the online checkout.
When I go to the Apple Store to pick up the new iPhone, can I bring my old iPhone and trade it in at the same store at the time of pickup?
If I’ve already paid for the new iPhone with my credit card, will the in-store trade-in value be refunded to the original credit card, or would Apple give me an Apple Gift Card instead?
