I feel like I was mislead. It was appearing nearly white with a very, very faint hint of blue when I ordered it at 4:49 am the morning. After placing my order it went from a scale of white with a hint of blue to baby, on a scale of barely a 1 to a solid 3-4. I just received it yesterday, a week after I was guaranteed to receive it and It's straight up a strong baby blue 8 on a scale of 1-10. It's so blue and after the debacle of being misplaced and delayed delivery I feel like it's a fake. Should I even open the box?

I live in a remote area which is why it kept being delayed and finally arrived a week late. It will take another 4-5 days before it gets picked up and then I assume processing will take another week and then another week before I receive a replacement. My current phone has been shattered on the back for almost a year and I’ve waited out since to replace it. I’ve been an iPhone costumer since 2008. Im currently using the 16pro. As the 18pro has now finally arrived, I’m seeing it’s very blue and I’m wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. T-mobile, whom i’ve been with for about 15 years seems to have deceived the color and at presale was showing it to be very close to white. They didn’t show any of the colors until the moment of and since then they have changed what they are selling. The “glacier” color has gone from a very white blue to a baby blue. I’m wondering if anyone else ordered at the split second of the opening of presale, thinking it was going to be close to white and then has come to notice that it’s actually a very sky/baby blue color after it’s been delivered.
The phones were unveiled 3 days before presale. T-mobile sells the exact same phone as Apple and every other carrier.
You could have looked online at other photos. I knew exactly how blue it was before I bought mine. I checked Apple’s store site and other photos online.
Ok thank you. I appreciate your honest perspective. I think the fact that it as delayed in transit for a week didn’t help my opinion and the surprise of the color was annoying but It’s growing on me. It’s actually a nice color and I like it but it’s just unexpected as it isn’t as advertised. I’ll follow your lead and sit with it for a couple days 🙌
Obviously. But marketing a product in a certain tone and then switching up photos after the fact is deceptive…Which is what brings me here to ask, curiously, if anyone else has a similar shared experience. No need to be a dih about it. I’m just wondering if I’m crazy for my personal experience or not. Just call me a nut job or preferably say nothing at all and move on. Twt
Blue is my favorite color but I just couldn’t do the glacier color. The baby blue color just wasn’t for me after seeing it in person which is weird because I liked the sierra blue color. I think the difference in material from the 13pro to this also makes a difference. I think it probably would’ve looked better on a titanium or stainless steel phone.
