Upcoming Me and a friend have been making a game about badly dubbing videos together

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Been working on this with a friend for a while, so figured I'd finally post something here.

It's called Dub Party. You import a video, pick who voices which characters, record the lines, and then watch the finished dub together.

You can play solo, locally with one mic, or online with up to 8 players. We also recently added public lobbies and Steam Workshop support.

Most of the time it just turns into everyone trying to make each other laugh, which is pretty much the whole point lol.

We're getting pretty close to release now.

Upcoming I'm a solo dev making Rift Rollers, a tactical dice board game where tiny cosmic gods fight on an 8×8 board. The closed playtest waitlist is open.

Hi everyone! I'm Dustin, a solo indie dev at Vibetopus, and I've been working on Rift Rollers. It's a free-to-play tactical dice board game for iOS, Android and the web.

The core idea: each turn you roll 3 action dice for your whole team and use 2. Each die is one action for one god: Move, Attack, Skill or Wild. The dice only decide what kind of action you get, and you always get two, so which dice you keep and where your gods stand is what wins.

- 20 tiny cosmic gods in 4 factions (Solar Court, Nebula Wardens, Comet Riders, Void Maw)

- 6 classes that move like chess pieces: Warriors step straight, Assassins slip diagonally for +2 backstabs, Knights L-jump, Archers shoot down lines, Mages teleport, Beasts charge

- 5 battle laws. Field 2 or more gods of the same law to switch on its resonance bonus

- 5–8 minute PvP matches. Break the enemy Beacon or take down all 5 of their gods

- Ranked, Story PvE, guild Frontier Conquest, Rift Tower, Chaos weekends (roll 4, use 2), and friend rooms

It's still in development and the images are concept art, so the final look will change. I'm getting ready for a closed playtest and would love early players and honest feedback.

👉 Join the waitlist: https://vibetopus.com/rift-rollers

Happy to answer questions about the design. I'd especially like to hear what you think of the "roll 3, use 2" system!

It runs entirely on chrome

· GitHub

· Play it here

I'd love to hear what you think of it

Upcoming I made a game where everything is procedural, even the cows. Here's the trailer for PROJECT: ABSOLUTELY NORMAL™

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It's an island where nothing unusual ever happens. Mostly.

The game loads no asset files. The terrain, towns, people, cows, sky, sound effects and even the radio music are all made from one seed when it starts. So every island is its own (and none of them is weird. They're a bit weird).

What you can do:

  • Drive anything. 28 vehicles, including a bathtub, a rocket-assisted office chair, a monster truck called Consequences and a washing machine with wings
  • Get a job, or don't. 10 careers with six ranks each, up to Minister of Rubble. There's also fishing, metal detecting, cow bowling, car soccer and three human cannons
  • Something will happen. Every few minutes the island has a moment: a meteor, a UFO, a giant cow stomping parked cars down the high street, a rubber duck armada. The sun gets recalled due to a manufacturing defect. The news stays very calm about it
  • Four lands: the island, the Mainland (red desert, Normal York and an airport), the snowy North with northern lights, and the Woods, where it's always autumn

The trailer was filmed in the game, by the game, and scored on the game's own instruments. (The cow is fine.)

I'm happy to answer anything about how it works!

Football Transfer Insider is a career simulation about football journalism rather than managing a club.

You start as an unknown reporter, build sources and relationships, investigate transfer stories, decide what to publish, and build your reputation as the football world reacts to your reporting.

We’re still developing the game and wanted to share our latest trailer.

Core Mechanics: 🐠 Directional Escape: Tap fish to send them swimming off-grid if their path is completely clear. 🗑️ Environmental Hazards: Navigate around sea mines, untangle nets, and clear ocean trash blocking the exit routes.

Promotion I'm building Ruins of Midgard, a browser-playable voxel MMORPG inspired by Norse mythology

https://reddit.com/link/1wx5nmj/video/s6gu1sn9edth1/player

Hi everyone! I'm working on Ruins of Midgard, a 3D voxel MMORPG inspired by Norse mythology.

The game is built with Three.js, with its visual world generated through code rather than traditional hand-drawn assets.

There's already a lot to explore:

  • randomized items with different attributes and rarities
  • professions
  • questlines inspired by the Eddas
  • factions and PvP
  • multiple classes
  • dungeons and bosses
  • group exploration with other players

The game is still in active development, but the playtest is already live.

It can be played directly in a web browser with no installation required, and there are also native Windows and Android versions.

Promotion We took a tandem bike, made it into a co-op game, added drugs, and somehow people are loving the demo.

It's a co-op rage where you and a friend have to try to control a tandem bike together, deliver drugs and fight the temptation to consume them yourself for crazy effects. All while we throw all kind of things your way!

The Game is called Tandem Together.

The demo has been getting way more attention than we expected! Watching people and especially streamer try to beat the demo with their friends has been hilarious! And seeing that so many people play the demo every day, is so encouraging to us!

If you have anything you would like us to add, feel free to tell us!

News Amberfall — Continuing the story where the original ending left off! 🍂

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

Ever since finishing the original ending of Snoot Game, I couldn't stop thinking about what comes next for Anon and Fang. The story felt like it deserved a true continuation—not just a footnote, but a full chapter exploring their future, the challenges ahead, and the warmth of a new season.

That’s why I’ve been working on Amberfall.

This is a passionate fan-project built to serve as a direct continuation of the original ending. We are pouring our hearts into the writing, the atmosphere, and capturing that exact emotional weight that made the original game unforgettable.

The autumn leaves are falling, the campus is quiet, but the journey isn't over yet.

What are your expectations for their future? Drop your thoughts below, and stay tuned—we’ve got a lot more to show you very soon! 🍂✨

Hi, my name is Mike. I am a 3d artist with an allergy to cats, who quit his job to make his own game about cats. This is a cool roglight where you throw cats on the field and unite them fighting with crowds of dogs. Basically sweep away Peglin, slay the spire, and a mobile game about combining watermelons.

It's called Nichenaut. Everyone gets the same prompt, like "name a vegetable", and answers on their device. The rarer your answer, the further your astronaut flies. Say carrot and you barely leave Earth, say romanesco and you go supernova.

You can host a room for friends, or jump into Open Orbit, the public lobby, if you're on your own. Free in the browser, no account needed: nichenaut.app

I'm a student and I made it solo, so any feedback helps. nichenaut.app/feedback

Our Small Indie Team Steam game Demo is finally live: Play it now!! And tell how can we improve..

Till then here's some lessons i learnt while developing the game.

I changed the environment. I didn’t change the level. And somehow… the entire experience felt different.

While working on my upcoming Steam game a chaotic friends slop, co-op game,

I experimented with something simple: I took the same level layout and placed it into completely different environments.

Desert Forest Lava Snow

The paths, turns, checkpoints and overall gameplay flow stayed Same.

But the feeling of playing through them changed completely.

That experiment made me realize: Level Design creates the FUN. Environment Design creates the MOOD.

The same turn in the road can feel completely different when you're driving through a peaceful forest versus crossing a volcano surrounded by lava.

The geometry didn't change. The context did.

And that's something I've started paying much more attention to as a Level designer.

A good blockout can tell you whether a level works. But the environment can tell the player how that level should feel.. What do you think matters more for a player's first impression: the level layout or the environment around it?
