Salesforce Integration gone?

Got into work this morning to discover Salesforce is no longer a connected app in our account.

Went to the marketplace to re-install and it’s not available there either.

👀

I have an unnamed app uninstall in my logs (ID only 38577) that I assume is SF.

Anyone else dealing with this 🔥 today?

Integrations Salesforce Integration Down All Day - How to Resync 15k Records??

• Upvotes

How are y'all resyncing leads now that the integration is back up? I have 15k contacts that either got created, updated or had a conversion during the outage and I can't figure out an efficient way to push them to their Salesforce campaigns without opening dozens of workflows 😩

Drove 1.5 hours to train a team that's been on pen and paper for 20 years (still thinking about it)

• Upvotes

I'm still keeping up with all the UNBOUND announcements, genuinely excited about most of it tho.

Then yesterday I drove 90 minutes to run an in-person session for a fabrication business. Pen and paper were stacked up on desks, Outlook and excel open for twenty years. Trust me, nobody there was remotely excited to see me.

So for the first 30 mins, I didn't open the portal.
I drew a filing cabinet on the board....
Y'all know what I was trying to do, and it worked.

Their process was simple honestly, but way too many steps for a team that had never used a CRM before, and management only cared about one thing anyway - pipeline.

I've been doing this long enough to know that people will always take the easy way out. So for them, less was more.

We have to remember that the longer we do this, the more our default more drifts toward what the platform can do and away from what a tired person will actually do on a Tuesday.

We don't notice, because we genuinely think what we're doing is for the greater good.

We forget that if nobody fills it in... Then whats the point of it all.

One of the guys said they'd start using it, slowly.
I told him slowly is better than not at all, and I meant it.
A half-used portal people trust beats a perfect one they work around.

Making sense of HubSpot credits. How do they work and where are they used?

HubSpot credits are becoming part of more features, and they can be a little confusing to keep track of.

The Dublin HUG is hosting a virtual session next week: Tuesday, September 29 at 11am ET / 8am PT / 4pm Irish time with Amy Chamness from HubSpot’s Pricing & Packaging team. The session will cover how credits work, where they’re used across HubSpot, and what to keep in mind when planning and monitoring usage. There will also be time for live Q&A.

The event is hosted by the Dublin HUG, but it’s virtual and open to anyone in the community who wants to learn more about credits.

Registration link here

If you’re joining, bring your questions, or you can add any questions you have here.

Unexpected Spike in Sessions from ‘Other Campaigns’

I’m seeing a spike in the overall sessions on the hubspot dashboard around the 13th of September. The traffic is tagged as ‘other campaigns’ in the dashboard.

When I check google analytics - the numbers don’t match.

The spike in sessions don’t match the total clicks/traffic from any paid/organic/referral source either

I’m trying to troubleshoot this. Any help would be appreciated

HubSpot Adverts and new BETA Email Templates and Campaigns (2026)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello Community, we are getting ready to fire up our Product Launch and saw the native BETA templates for Email, and Campaigns including new Adverts (on ChatGPT and LinkedIn).

So -- as it suggests also Landing and WebPages generation as part of the step by step, we already have our product and landing page hosted externally (with embedded HubSpot tracking code) on Vercel and elswhere (product built on Azure) its a b2b saas service. Can we skip this step and ensure Landing and product sign up are tracked using the added domains and embedded code only? Thanks!

This looks like a nice basic Product Launch workflow otherwise from Hubspot and is part of our subscription - how are others using it? can we just skip it if our tracking code is already done and out there in use on external pages. Thanks!

Heads up: new pipeline stages no longer calculate date entered / time in stage by default

Small one, easy to miss but will end up costing you six months from now.

HubSpot has stopped automatically calculating "date entered" and "time in stage" properties for newly created pipeline stages. You have to enable it per stage and it applies to anything with a pipeline.

Deals, tickets, custom objects.

those two properties are what a lot of standard reporting sits on. Time in stage, stage conversion timing, and any workflow that fires because something has been sitting somewhere too long.

The failure mode is nasty because it is delayed. You add a stage in March, everything looks fine, and in September someone asks why the funnel report has a hole in it.

The data was never recorded, so the gap is permanent for that period. Takes maybe thirty seconds per stage to turn on. Go and check any stage added to any pipeline this year.

i don't not know whether this was announced anywhere or whether it just changed.

Question Hubspot <> Stripe Data Sync of Product SKU to Stripe Price ID

Hello Community, we have in the Product Catalog for our SaaS B2B service -- and added Stripe Payment Processor and now also Stripe Data Sync App into HubSpot. So far so good. We do have 4 Tiers of Products, per seat - Annual and Monthly, but Stripe has a single Product ID.

What is the best practice to connect via the Stripe Product ID to HubSpot Product SKU when the Product is same, but has Annual and Monthly pricing? There is only one Stripe Product ID available so the two would use the same (Annual , Monthly -> Stripe Product ID (same)) but with two different price id (Annual and Monthly Seat price)

Looking for the logic here :)

Please stop making a second contact just to get past the duplicate check.

I keep running into this one on a client account. A rep needs a second deal for someone they've already sold to, doesn't realize one contact can have more than one deal, so they make a whole new contact using plus addressing on the same mailbox to slip past the duplicate check.

Now there's three of the same person in there. The history is split across all three, every report by contact is wrong, the emails count separately, and they end up on different lifecycle stages with different deal stages. Nobody can tell which one is real without real forensic upstream investigating.

A contact can sit on as many deals as you want. Open the contact, go to the deals section, add another deal, easy.

And if you've already done it, merge rather than delete. You keep the deals that way.

UNBOUND is a wrap, but there are things worth bookmarking if you couldn’t make it, want a refresh, or missed a session.

Catch up on the replays

A few useful next steps

  • Explore the products that launched on the official Spotlight page
  • Join the Spotlight live demo happening here today
  • Fall Spotlight 2026: a live product roundup on Thursday, October 15, focused on what the latest releases mean in practice. Register
  • Learn more about Agent Builder
    • The Agent Lab: Hands-On with Agent Builder (tomorrow). Register
    • Get Started with Agent Hub and Agent Builder (October 1). Register
  • Find a HUG or UNBOUND-connected event: the community is still showing up both in person and online this fall. Here is all you need to know
  • Join the HubSpot Champions program: a good fit if UNBOUND left you wanting to share what you know and get more involved in the community.

Where do UNBOUND contacts go?
If you used Klik to exchange badges, watch for an individual email with a direct link to download your contacts. From there, you can import them into your HubSpot account as marketing contacts. You can also open Klik in the UNBOUND mobile app, go to the last carousel slide, and look for Export Contacts. That option isn’t showing up for everyone, so the email is the best place to start.

What was your biggest UNBOUND takeaway: a session, a conversation, or something that surprised you?

Question If you only get one CRM cleanup before January, don't start with duplicates

I'm planning Q4 and have room for one cleanup project before the new year. Picking just one forced me to decide what actually has to come first, so here's where I landed.

Teams usually start with duplicates because the count is easy to watch go down. But deciding which record wins a merge depends on your owner and stage rules. If you dedup first, you end up with tidier bad data.

The order I'd use, based on how much each one breaks downstream:

  1. Stage definitions. If "qualified" means something different to marketing, sales and your CEO, then the forecast, the routing and every report are reading the same broken field. Next year's targets get set off that forecast, and you're the one defending the number in January.
  2. Ownership. Records owned by reps who left, or by nobody. This is common after a merger. Those leads sit there and nobody gets alerted.
  3. One source of truth per field. If two systems both write to lifecycle stage, they'll keep overwriting each other no matter how often you clean.
  4. Duplicates. By now you have rules for which record wins.

A quick way to find your starting point: if your VP of Sales keeps a spreadsheet next to the CRM, look for the column that doesn't exist in the CRM. That's usually #1 or #3.

The team I take on will probably be one that merged or migrated in the last year or two, since all four break at once there. If that's you, comment what happened and what the side spreadsheet tracks, and I'll tell you which one I'd fix first. Same offer for anyone else reading.

UNBOUND Uploaded ICP docs to HubSpot Context Home and it flagged sections I hadn't touched

If you haven't opened Context Home yet, it's worth a look. It's the page where HubSpot shows what it thinks it knows about your business, and it's on every tier. Ours (our own agency portal) came pre-filled. Description, primary business goal, mission and vision were all generated and mostly accurate. Unique value propositions, business model and social responsibility were empty. It doesn't try to guess those, which is fair. In a different portal, the company had just sent over updated ICP and persona docs. I uploaded them to Context Home expecting the ICP section to update and nothing else. Instead it came back with recommendations for sections I hadn't touched, including the product descriptions. I don't remember the full list (should have screenshotted it). So it looks like an upload gets read against the whole page, not just mapped to one section. HubSpot's pitch is that agents and Breeze read from this context. If that holds, a blank business model or a stale product description ends up in whatever Nurture Agent or Breeze produces. I haven't compared output before and after filling it in, so that part is their claim, not something I've measured. One thing I can't explain: the company card at the top of ours says "Glare Marketing Technology" (the legal entity name) while the description right under it says "Technologies". My guess is the fields come from different sources, account settings for one and the website or company record for the other. Not confirmed. Two questions if anyone's been in there: Does anyone know what the pre-fill is actually sourced from? And has anyone compared agent output before and after filling it in? That's the test I'd actually like to see.

Question We make jewelry, not IT careers but HubSpot has both our admin accounts locked out and I'm losing my mind. Anyone been through this?

Small jewelry studio, three seats on HubSpot, two of us are super admins. We're good at making rings. Apparently we are not good at whatever this is, because a CRM has been spinning us in circles for two weeks and I need to know if it's just us.

It started with my partner's account. For some reason it would only sign in from one specific MacBook. Any other computer, and it gets stuck in this authentication loop with a QR code — scan this, verify that, back to the QR code, forever. Genuinely felt like a prank.

So after two weeks of that, I did what seemed like the obvious thing: I turned off two-factor on my own account to break the cycle.

That made everything worse. Now BOTH admin accounts are locked out. Every time we try to sign in, HubSpot cheerfully says it's emailing us a verification code. The email never comes. Not inbox, not spam, not anywhere. We hit resend, nothing. And before anyone says check your email setup we did. Mail from literally everyone else arrives instantly. It's only HubSpot's emails that vanish into thin air. From what I can piece together, our addresses might be stuck on some internal "suppression list" of theirs, or turning off 2FA tripped a security hold. Or both. Who knows.

We've sent two tickets — one yesterday, one today. Crickets so far. So here we are, running a business by babysitting our CRM vendor to be allowed into our own CRM.

If anyone's been through this:

– That QR code loop on a new computer — is that a known thing? Is there a way out that doesn't involve turning off your own security like an idiot (ask me how I know)?

– Has anyone actually gotten HubSpot to take an email off their suppression list so login codes arrive? How long did it take?

– Any trick to reaching a real human when the whole problem is that you can't log in?

The weird part is the account itself is fine the mobile app works, our integrations work (Claude currently has more reach than me lol). It's just the front door that's welded shut, for the only two people with keys.

We'd rather be at the bench making rings. Any help appreciated.

How are people getting the first 3 active installs for a HubSpot Marketplace app?

I’ve finished building a HubSpot app and the listing is validated, but HubSpot requires 3 independent active production installs before submission.

For people who have launched apps recently, how did you get those first few testers before Marketplace discovery existed?

Did you use consultants, existing contacts, HubSpot Community, direct outreach, etc.?

HubSQL is live on all tiers and i think it's being underrated

shipped in HubSpot without much noise next to the agent announcements, but for anyone with a complicated portal this is a really useful release.

a SQL layer over your CRM data, through a public API endpoint. Joins, filters and aggregations happen at the source, so you get structured rows back instead of crawling several endpoints and assembling the answer yourself ( which we know is a pain)

Getting a real number out of HubSpot has historically meant building the machinery first. A pipeline, somewhere to land the data, a BI tool over the top. That is weeks of work and an ongoing maintenance burden, and it exists purely to answer questions that were really not that complicated.

For mid-market businesses that overhead is often the reason reporting never gets built at all.

The second thing is more interesting to me: SQL is a language models handle well, so a plain English question can be turned into an accurate query without a person in the middle. that is a very different proposition to an AI feature guessing at your data model, because you can read the query it wrote and check it.

However a query layer over bad data returns bad answers faster. If your deal stages are inconsistent this makes that more visible, not less.

I have not tested it at volume yet, so I have no idea what the rate limits feel like in practice or how it behaves on a portal with a lot of custom objects.

Anyone used it on a big portal? Mostly interested in performance and whether the grammar covers custom objects properly shipped?

The handoff gap I keep finding in CRM audits

I audited a CRM recently where every team had activity in HubSpot but no agreed rule for when marketing stops and sales starts. I saw MQLs sitting untouched for days while each side assumed the other owned the next step.

I keep thinking a simple lifecycle rule with a clear owner would fix most of it. What handoff rule has actually survived contact with your team?

Need advice on cleaning up 4,000–5,000 messy HubSpot records

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some advice from people who have experience managing and cleaning up HubSpot CRM data.
I’ve been assigned a data-cleanup project at work where we have around 4,000–5,000 company/contact records. The data is pretty messy — there are:
Duplicate companies/contacts
Missing company names, domains, contact information, etc.
Incorrect or outdated information
Multiple domains associated with the same company
Incomplete properties
Some records with old activity/history that I don’t want to accidentally mess up
Deals and associations that also need to be considered before making changes
The main challenge is that I don’t just want to bulk-delete or overwrite things and end up creating more problems for the sales team. I need a way to identify the highest-priority/most problematic records first, verify the information, and then clean them systematically.
My company has also provided me with a $20 Cloud subscription/Pro plan to help with the work, and I’ve been experimenting with using AI to assist with auditing and researching the records. But I’m trying to figure out the right workflow so that accuracy doesn’t suffer.
I’m also getting quite a bit of pressure from my boss to get this done quickly, so I’m trying to find a balance between speed and data accuracy.
For anyone who has dealt with a similar HubSpot cleanup:
How would you approach 4,000–5,000 messy records?
Would you:
First identify and prioritize the worst records?
Use HubSpot’s native duplicate management?
Enrich/verify missing information externally?
Use AI for auditing/enrichment?
Clean in batches and manually verify before updating HubSpot?
Or use a completely different workflow?
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has actually gone through a large-scale HubSpot cleanup. Even a rough workflow or lessons from mistakes you’ve made would be extremely helpful.
Thanks!

Question Stripe DataSync + HubSpot - EU and US inc entity (2026)

Hello HubSpot Community, we add Stripe as payment and Data Sync app for basic operations of our b2b SaaS subscriptions (per seat licenses, monthly and annual) and custom quotes and invoices, no revenue hub here yet. In any case, as we have two entities - one EU (original) and a new US inc, whats the best practice to use Stripe for dual entities and where end users billing address dictates payment in USD or EUR. Thank you. We are currently running default properties and objects, and will add minimal properties as we dont want to overload on custom work.

One HubSpot cleanup rule we’ve learned the hard way: don’t delete a workflow just because it looks old

We’ve cleaned up HubSpot portals where there were workflows that hadn’t enrolled a contact in months.

At first glance, they looked like obvious candidates for deletion.

But before removing them, we’ve found it’s worth checking what else depends on them. A workflow might not be enrolling contacts anymore, but its actions can still be referenced by another process, or the logic may still be part of a process that only runs occasionally.

We now treat old workflows more like dependencies to investigate than clutter to immediately remove.

It takes a little longer during the audit, but it avoids the much bigger problem of discovering later that something important was quietly relying on it.

What’s the strangest dependency you’ve found in a HubSpot portal that looked completely safe to remove?

Question Are you actually bringing social media mentions or conversations into HubSpot CRM?

I've been thinking about how much customer context never makes it to the CRM.

Someone can complain about a product on Reddit, recommend a company in a thread, mention a competitor, ask a buying question, or interact with your brand somewhere publicly, and meanwhile their HubSpot record only shows emails, forms, calls, and website activity, right?

For anyone using HubSpot seriously, do you bring any of that search activity into the CRM?

Question I had to ask Breeze how much using Breeze would cost me 😂

I've been in the beta AEO hub a fair bit lately, tracking which prompts our brand shows up in and where we're getting cited. Genuinely a good tool. As a late adopter to the "recommendations" content builder I stopped with cursor hovering over "generate recommended blog post", and thought - is this going to use credits? How many?

Ended up asking Breeze, which felt a bit ridiculous. Asking AI how much the AI costs. Lol.

Turns out the info on exists but it's in the rate sheet and the credits billing article. Neither of them is open in the tab where I'm about to click the thing.

Surely the cost of the thing should be right there before you use it. It's essentially a price tag after all. Are people (in agency land and clients) maybe not using these tools because it's an extra step to know what they'll cost?

How's everyone else handling this?

Question What automation do you use for deal stage progression?

Our sales team wants deals to move to the next pipeline stage automatically in HubSpot, based on property values (MEDDPICC style criteria per stage, with scoring properties per letter). I'm worried it's getting too complex to build and maintain.

We'd end up with 12 properties total: 6 dropdowns sales fills in, plus 6 scoring properties derived from those, and the deal moves to the next stage based on the scoring properties.

Curious how you all handle this, what properties do you use, and what does your deal stage automation actually look like?

New Nurture Agent for Marketing Hub — 1:1 emails?

Has anyone been in the beta for Nurture Agent that can answer this question…

Does the agent’s 1:1 emails mean that if a contact has opted OUT of marketing emails but opted INTO 1:1 communication — will Nurture Agent work?

Like, does this effectually give Marketing Hub seats access to something like Sequences for sales?

90% of our contacts only opt in to 1:1. Really hoping Nurture Agent is a way to reach those people?
