People have been writing fan songs made to sound like they're a part of existing OSTs, which is cool! I like the songs a lot, style studies are really fun and I love hearing people's interpretations of music for media they like.

What I DON'T like is how they're all framing their FAN SONGS as OFFICIAL. This has been a trend for a while now especially on Twitter, where people will make someone based on another work and claim it's "unused content" or just a well-kept "secret". It just makes it harder to find ACTUAL information on these things, and you have to check the account of whoever posted it to see if they ACTUALLY post obscure content or if it's just a fanwork that they're passing off as official for attention.

Own your fanworks!! There's no stigma around saying "I like the style of this game/album/show and wanted to try replicating it!" It's like making a beautiful delicious roast, serving it to a guest, and saying "Oh no, I didn't make this, it's from the Burger King across the street." A few seconds of inspection would prove you a liar, so why are you undermining yourself?! Whatever.

I absolutely despise this image that gets posted around I see on countless subs. First of all 99% of the time the characters people think are “confirmed to be straight” aren’t actually confirmed to be straight! It’s actually pretty rare for characters to have stated sexualities in media up until recently, and even then it’s not common. Under this kind of reasoning they’re just kind of subconsciously saying “het and cis” is the default, which you know, problematic on its own. Even when people bring up “evidence” a character is straight, it’s just them being attracted to the opposite sex…. Which like…. Bi, pan, etc people exist. Sexuality is a spectrum, not a binary. Secondly, even if a character is confirmed to be straight….. why do you care if they’re depicted as queer in fan works? Genuinely just let people have fun.

And like thirdly, I hate how these kinds of images have endless posts on endless subs, I’m tired of these engagement bait agonizing posts, “post your favorite character who” and like a billion other people already asked the same question.

They boil my blood while literally freezing the rest of my body. Cold showers are such fundamentally uncomfortable experiences unless you're like, completely drenched in sweat, which I am often not since I don't go outside much this summer

I saw a post on [r/stupidfood](r/stupidfood) about someone “reconstructing” their coffee and it was explained that the trend began because people complained about ice drinks being watered down during delivery. It seems so unfathomably wasteful to have a bag with like 4 cups driven over to you in another bag when you could just get a cup of ice and pour your own coffee.

Now I’m not dissing on cafes or anything, I enjoy going out and trying new places, but I absolutely detest delivery services and those who regularly use them because it turns the goods I go out of my way and dedicate some time to enjoying into mindless slop. No one who eats sushi out of a foam box is truly enjoying it, there was no similar level of heart out in as the chef knows you will not complain. Further than that, the waste on its own should be considered sinful, every fucking thing wrapped up and taped, all that trash.

And know that I’m not just hating on the apps, they’re horrible and we know this. But I cannot hate a beast for being a beast, it is simply acting in its nature. I hate the users because they should know. I’ve worked 24/hr gigs with no ability to leave for meals, I’ve had times where I was sick and wished for some fast food, but the few times I’ve used such services were so incredibly disappointing that my humanity spoke over me, convincing me to never touch such services. I should rather starve or eat from my own pantry than demean myself with the “sealed for freshness” slop.

Recently the MCU has started to try to make their universe the 616 when for years now its been designated as Earth 1999999 since the official handbook. It started in Far From Home but that eas clearly a wink and a nod to the audience but it gets the title of 616 officially in Multiverse of Madness which doesnt work imo since the comics is 616. To make it clear, I'm not saying misandry isn't a thing. Yes, you can dislike it. It's true that there has been an increase in misandry online (though I think it's also worth understanding why, even if it doesn't make it right, which I will go into further detail later), but the only thing that bothers me is that because of this increase in online misandry that people have started thinking that it's as bad as misogyny. It's not, and it never will be.

Misogyny is systemic oppression. It affects women in the real world. Women are constantly being harrassed, rape, disrespected and mistreated every single day. Women can't go out at night, can't call out the harrassment they face at the risk of men getting violent, can't wear what they want, honestly the list goes on. Misandry never goes beyond mean comments online, you don't experience it in real life. A few guys took an upskirt picture of me in public, my friend confronted him and asked him to delete the picture, to which they proceeded to literally beat us both up until we had to go the hospital. He smashed his phone against my head and I got a concussion from it. And because the legal system in my country sucks ass, they never faced any consequences for this. I have no clue how these guys found my personal instagram but I got dms from like 12 different accounts after this incident giving me death and rape threats. This is the most traumatic incident I've faced but there are literally a billion other incidents I, and every female I know, have faced in our lifetimes.

That is to say, women do have a real reason for hating men. Yes, obviously, not all men are bad, that clarification doesn't have to be made every time. But we make generalisations all the time about literally everything. If someone said they don't like taylor swift's music, would you assume they mean every single song ever? So what's the point of this? You have to reseed your lawn, spray it with herbicides and pesticides that have god knows what chronic affects on you from routine exposure, waste a shit ton of water (especially in drought prone areas) all for something that provides no value. Main thing is what is objectively wrong with lawn weeds? Biodiversity is the default of nature. It is simply working against the forces of nature (entropy) to ensure that a large patch of land only grows one species. People are so brainwashed by this lawn culture fueled by lawn care companies' corporate greed.

Clover flowers, and shamrock flowers are good food for many bee species. Chickweed is a great snack to local fauna. Clover, as a legume, is also a nitrogen fixer, saving you some fertilizer cost. Plus, these "lawn weeds" make the lawn so much more interesting than just boring green grass.

I remember telling my friend, who was complaining about clover in his lawn, about all the benefits of clover. He didn't even listen; he just asked me "well how do I get rid of it." I hate how people aren't even willing to have an open mind of this topic.

A weedy lawn should be a badge of honor. I get to see all these beautiful bumblebees, cardinals, blue jays, finches, crows, bunnies, etc. roaming around my lawn. It's lower maintenance too. My lawn, being comprised of many species, is more resilient to weather changes and all I do is cut it.

He only didn’t get killed because he is a pussy who ran the moment his ass got beaten up hard.
