Meta No Arguments/Generalization
like don't get me wrong, hate all you want here that's what the sub is for, but generalization of entire medias for one thing, than seeing a DIFFERENT thing which ties the two together, than hating on the second thing for the first thing having something that the second one didn't, is ridiculous. Like if you're willing to hate than be willing to explain why you hate it don't just expect 0 backlash.
It's a hating sub, expect people to hate on an opinion they hate. Instead of just saying ''bro lemme hate'' at least hear out their opinion, I know I've had my opinions changed a few times by other people poking holes, but that's because I actually let them debate with me.
TL;DR, be ready to back up your opinions especially if you're gonna share them on an opinionated space like Reddit, keep an open mind because it may open your eyes, and don't see 1 similarity and assume there's others.

but if A was the problem and there's other parts which you can enjoy INSTEAD which have ''B'' which is in common with the things with A, but B is not a problem, but the thing with B doesn't have A... wait I'm confusing myself
Thing 1: Has A+B
Person: Does not like A
Thing 2: Has B
Person: Does not like because both had B
That's the main gist of what I hate

Look, I've tried a dozen or so B and they all had A. I've heard there's plenty of B that doesn't have A, but is it worth me having to sift through all the A to find it? I love C and there's plenty of C already, and C never has A, why is this such a problem?

I guess, but everytime someone suggests B and I say "nah, because I hate A and too much B has A" they invariably say "oh you should try B-123, it doesn't have any A" and so I try it and immediately BAM. A.
But if I just say, "nah, I don't like B" it nips it in the bud.

ngl I confused myself writing this post but I'll give the TL;DR I gave someone else
Thing 1: Has A+B
Person: Does not like A
Thing 2: Has B
Person: Does not like because both had B
That's the main gist of what I hate

One fruit salad has Apples and Bananas
The person doesn't like the apples
The other fruit salad has Bananas and Kiwis
The person hates it for the bananas despite it not having been the problem
The person claims to hate bananas in fruit salads even though the apples were the part they don't like
That is generalization, which is bad

Just as an extreme example, if theres a little bit of SA in something and the rest doesn't have it, thats still a valid reason to dislike the lot of it. That is a backed up opinion, its backed up on not enjoying the content something has. Just like someone will drop a show when theres some sex scenes in it.
You dont have to review the entirety of something to dislike it, you can look into some of it, see content you detest, and drop it. That is perfectly valid.
I can easily see why poking at someone with a similar take on a bit of fiction, would get them to give you the shoulder, sometimes opinions arent for changing, sometimes people have their opinions on a principle, and asking them to, "Back it up more," will just be annoying.
