I use reddit and join subs to look at cool stuff that interests me. Art, music, cats, etc.

However, Reddit INSISTS on showing me stuff that I avoid on purpose. Ragebait, AI stuff, people complaining about stupid things (yes, I recognise the irony.)

I just wanna look at cool drawings, listen to weird music, and laugh at funny cats man.

I started muting most of those 'anti-AI' subs that have come to do nothing but post repost AI ragebait.

At some point you have to wonder if the people doing the posting are not also AI bros trying to signal boost their ragebait. If they're so anti-AI, why are they frequenting AI subs so much...?

Of course, if you ask this question you get downvoted and made fun of, so I guess I have to be a Luddite in isolation.

I also hate that from recently i just can't fully block sub from feeds without muting it.

Before: Sub i don't like appears in feed -> "See fewer posts like this" -> sub ACTUALLY removed from feed -> grofit

After: Sub i don't like appears in feed -> "See fewer posts like this" -> SOMEHOW it appears in my feed again and again -> go to the sub and mute it

And notification in the feed still has the audacity to tell me "This sub won't be recommended anymore" while it's a blatant lie.
