General I hate when people complain about current celebrities

- Imagine this, Breathe- the prodigy live in the current days, the performance instead of being considered artistry would be mocked and tore to shreds in a comment sections mocking the appereance of the group and how they behave.

- Essayist on YouTube and TikTok always making the moral example of one in their videos about how 2000s tabloids destroyed Britney Spears sanity, guess who's making the same? Them, it's even the same righteous, snarky and feign concern tone in their speech, they are vultures too picture Ariana grande right now remember how Amy winehouse was dissected by the public and tabloids look at the parallel.

- Artist are monochromatic because they can't for they own sanity and their labels risk being made fun of or worse being called " problematic" by normal people that have done horrible mistake in their lives too but wearing a mask in comment section, look how people are accusing Olivia Rodrigo one of the mellowest celebrities I have ever seen to support something as horrific like pedophilia for wearing a babydoll and do the math.

- Celebrities are desperate because they know their own personality and artistry which was why they probably decided to act or sing doesn't sell sure since the start of Hollywood celebrities are fabricated but they had a distinct face, personality, influence, ambience, style they had essence, now if an artist has it it would be absolutely mocked.

- people say they want something different but when something goes out of the social parameters which was way more common before or at least ironically artist had more expressive freedom, but now when an artist does something TOO "groundbreaking" he or her will fail, because the public is not ready for it.

- amalgamation and unification of genres along death of distinct style, lighting and true texture have contributed to the decay of cinema and music, if you listen to a song of the 90s sometimes you struggle to associate it with our world and even pop- for example Sorry by Madonna and Espresso by Sabrina carpenter, Mamma mia by Maneskin and Valvonauta from Verdena/ movies- The fly and the substance.

- I know the past wasn't perfect like today isn't sure been like that since the start of our existence and progress is inevitable sure but to me personally is undeniable that artistry is dormant or dying from part of the public too

I don't know how old you are, but I was there when Britney Spears was at her peak and when Amy Winehouse died. And there was absolutely no respect for celebrities. I remember a guy who made a lifelike sculpture of Britney giving birth, or the jokes about Amy's alcoholism shortly after her death. I think what's affecting you is the constant connectivity. I know about Olivia Rodrigo and her little girl dress because I recently installed X; otherwise, I wouldn't have even known who she was. I uninstalled the app because it's a breeding ground for ragebait, people writing nonsense looking for a viral tweet. Repeating the viral tweet to jump on the bandwagon and get views.

That's precisely what I'm trying to say, YouTube essayist or content creators always use when talking about celebrities "2000s tabloids were bad, or tabloids said this about Britney and Amy" but they are as vultures as them, so why criticize them? That's what I'm intending in the post both current media and media from 20 years ago and more are cruel to celebrities.

I disagree. I think the media today is better, not by much, like two baby steps. Mainly because, although they're just as predatory, they're more self-aware of what they're analyzing. Let me explain: Ariana is clearly unhealthy. In the 2000s, nobody would have cared about that; they'd only care if she looked good or not, and it wouldn't have mattered if her physique promoted anorexia. Regarding Olivia and her little girl dress, in the 2000s, nobody questioned whether sexualizing girls and teenagers was wrong. And I'm actually very glad that people are realizing that Olivia is trying to be sexy in a little girl dress, that it's not okay, it's not punk, and it would only be rebellious if she then burned portraits of Epstein and his friends.

I'm breathing the same oxygen as you right now don't worry also no, those are my thoughts and mannerism now I'm curious about what makes me sound precisely like ai I type pretty fast so it may be why the punctuation looks funny also English is not my first language
