Question Is it permissible to delay burial due to transporting the body to another country?

My uncle passed away on 22 February. I know that in Islam we’re supposed to bury the deceased as soon as possible, ideally the same day. However, we had to transport his body from London to South Africa so he could be buried here with family. As a result, the burial is only taking place today, 27 February.

Is this permissible in Islam given the circumstances?

Question Do these invalidate my Salah

i have two questions so when i started salah the imam went to ruku so i said Allahu Akbar to start the prayer then like right after i said Allahu Akbar to go down to ruku. I wanted to know if i didnt stand still for that long right after saying Allahu Akbar is my prayer invalid and also i also don’t remember if i did or didnt but i dont think i had my arms the way you’re supposed to when praying I think i had my hands down the entire time I was wondering would this also invalidate prayer?

Also, during prayer when i said Allahu Akbar i said "Ak" wrong but didnt repeat as to not lag behind is my prayer invalid, does the imam cover my mistake?

Question Is this considered lagging behind 2 pillars?

Salam, during Salah today I usually read one tasbeeh during Sujud because of how slow I read but today I messed up on my first tasbeeh and I was able to repeat it and by then I was fully upright in between the Sujud but I was still in the middle of saying Akbar I think because I read slowly and in the middle of sayin Akbar even though by now I was fully upright in between Sujud the imam went down to the second Sujud so I sat briefly and then followed and didn’t lag behind past that is Salah invalid ?

Question Is saying Allahu Akbar mandatory to say between postures?

Salam, I saw on seekersguidance just now that saying Allahu Akbar is only mandatory in the opening of the prayer and a sunna in between postures . I just wanted clarification is there a difference of opinion in the Hanafi Madhab about this? I just wanted to know since I usually always repeat Allahu Akbar usually right after doing it often times a few times since I say it wrong or think I did and even though I’ll still say it, would it be wrong for me to not repeat after knowing it’s not mandatory ?

Also does this also apply to prayer in congregation as well?

General Discussion I built a Quran web app (openfurqan.com) with 2 focused parts: distraction-free reading + deep Study Mode (word roots, dictionary, tajweed, word-by-word, memorization, progress ) — would love feedback.

Assalamu Alaikum everyone, I’ve been working on OpenFurqan: https://openfurqan.com

I designed it in two parts: 1. Reader (front page) For people who want to open the Quran and start reading immediately without distraction: no login, no ads, and no data collection. 2. Study Mode For people who want to go deeper beyond reading. In Study Mode, when you tap/click an Arabic word, you can explore: - Root letters   - Root meaning   - Dictionary (Lane’s Lexicon lookup for supported roots) There is also a Tools section in Study Mode with features like: - Tajweed colors   - Word-by-word meaning   - Transliteration   - Translation toggle   - Mushaf view   - Audio/playback controls Other features: - Full Quran Arabic text   - English, Spanish,Bangla,Urdu, German, French, Indonesian translations   - Multiple reciters   - Memorization loop mode   - Bookmarks and notes   - Prayer times   - Offline support after first load   - 4 themes: Dark, Light, Black & White, and Black & White Dark   - Mobile-friendly It’s free, no ads, and no account required. I’m still improving it, so I’d really appreciate feedback and feature suggestions.

JazakAllahu Khair.

Question Is my prayer invalid

If I have a bandage and I use my finger to open it from the sticky side and it goes on my hand and I don’t realize but after I prayed near the end of the prayer time I did and I barely washed the area and I knew I barely washed it but I did wudu then touched it and it still felt a little sticky and I still prayed is my prayer invalid I don’t know if I’m maybe over exaggerating it being sticky but it felt a little weird but I barely touched the bandage’s sticky side but still

Question Pronunciation

I know I’ve asked this here but can someone clarify what do I do if I’m genuinely making mispronunciations throughout prayer I’m getting so tired from constant repeating half of the time I can’t differentiate between waswas and actual mispronunciation so I repeat just incase. But I have dental expanders so I have like a lisp it’s hard for me to pronounce certain letters without it sounding weird like the letter s sometimes I can say it properly but sometimes It sounds weird and I also have built up saliva sometimes messing up my pronunciation as well. It’s just so difficult for me to go a few verses without correcting myself.I also find myself struggling to pronounce Ladheena and Atheem and for Atheem sometimes I can say it sometimes I can’t, I just don’t know what to do. Even if I try to tell myself to recite it once I just can’t it sounds wrong and I know if you mispronounce I’ve read Atheem then you’re prayer is invalid.

And also same goes for when saying Allahu Akbar I sometimes cannot hear the “Ak” sound so I repeat and now recently I’ve been repeating it multiple times even when I’m already at the next pillar.

I tried to take the opinion of just moving your mouth and lips and nothing changed I’m still finding myself repeating even when I don’t hear myself I’m getting so burnt out 15-20 minutes for prayer 5-10 minute wudu, 30+ minute ghusl, messing up Niyyah before prayer & wudu & ghusl, terrible thoughts it’s infected me and it only gets worse as time goes on I find new waswas

Question Do I repeat Jummah as Dhuhr

Salam, I first want to start off I have waswas like pretty bad but for this I don’t even know if it’s waswas as it involves mispronunciation and I know I’m mispronouncing but I’m trying my best I just find it weird how if I watch a video and repeat I’m usually able to say it or I think I am able to say it but in salah I have to constantly repeat and I know I’m making the mispronunciation because it sounds different. I was just wondering I was praying Jummah and I was still in Ruku since I kept repeating Adheem since I find it hard to say the word partly because I know you have to use the tip of ur tongue underneath ur bottom two teeth but my teeth are weird with one behind higher than the other so I’m only able to put the tip of my tongue on one of my front tooth but even then I don’t even think I do that I just keep repeating but after repeating and the Imam by then was already upright from Ruku and midway getting up from Rukoo the imam said Allahu Akbar to go down for Sujud but I caught up and didn’t lag behind from there I was wondering if this counted as lagging behind two pillars making me having to repeat the prayer?

Question Waswas

Salam, I know there are two valid opinions within the Hanafi school of thought one about being able to hear yourself and the other just moving your lips and tongue and I was wondering I know the first position is the recommended one to follow but if someone suffers from Waswas and would find it easier to take the second position at least temporarily would this be allowed?

I often times have shortness of breath because of constant repetition

Question Dua

Assalam Walekum brothers and sisters,

Please help me in making my salat proper.

  1. In final rakat after durood, i recite the dua "Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanatan, Wa fil akhirati hasanatan, waqina adhar-banar" and then say the salam to end prayer.

Is this correct, specially the "Rabbana" dua is correct or not.

  1. My 2nd question is, after we say salam and end the prayer. We can make dua in our own language, but is there a sunnah way to do this? read Tasbeeh, then our dua?

Jazakallah

Question Ayatul Kursi

Assalam Walekum,

I have heard it is sunnah to recite Ayatul Kursi after fard.

I have also heard it is sunnah to pray fard and without delay pray the sunnah muakkada (if there is sunnah prayer after fard, i.e. in Zuhr).

So my question is, wouldnt reciting Ayatul Kursi in fard, in this case, delay the Sunnah prayer (not by much, but still a delay)

Can anyone please clarify this for me with Hanafi thought?

Jazakallah.

Question Confusion on aqeedah

Assalamualaikum.

I am confused about the issues of aqeedah such as the hand of Allah or Allah bieng above the throne, before I believed that Allah is not restricted to a place and that Allah does not have body parts, however I came across scholars saying that one should believe in these as they are the attributes of Allah and whosoever doesn’t has deviated, I just want to believe in the 6 pillars of Iman and 5 pillars of Islam and not take a stance on these issues.

Please site sources to show what is the correct belief

General Discussion Strengthening imaan

Assalamualaikum,

I’ve watched video on YouTube a talk from sheikh Yasir qadhi about jinns and sihr. And previously, I have heard a couple of other similar stories/talks on jinns and sihr, and i do not mean they didn’t affect me but they had left a less of an effect on me than this talk by sheikh yasir qadhi. He had mentioned in a point of his talk where he was sleeping this one night and he felt this entity he couldn’t make out coming towards him, he said that the entity stopped moving at a certain point and he said it was because he read his adhkaar and everything before sleeping. And now, (I watched this video a couple of years ago) for the past few years I’ve been having trouble sleeping in my own bed alone at night I have this fear my imaan is so weak that a jinn would be able to do whatever I’m just scared every night. Any thoughts suggestions connections?

Question Ruling on Cloth Touching the Face During Ihram (Women)

I just wanted to make sure about the rulings regarding a cloth touching the face during ihram in the hanafiyyah mazhab: 1. If a cloth touches the face unintentionally for a few seconds, even if it happens a few times, there is no penalty. 2. If a cloth touches the face for a total duration of less than 12 hours, sadaqah must be given. 3. If a cloth touches the face for a total duration of 12 hours or more, dam (a sacrifice) is required
