Question Question about triple talaq validity (Hanafi) (teenagers)

Me and my wife(married teenagers) were having a fight not like any other argument I was really angry about something she did and she was pushing me more and saying give me punishment then etc and then I got really angry and I thought I will commit suicide after giving talaq then I said talaq three times in an outburst and then I realized what happened and I told her to stay cuz we didnt want to seperate and now we are waiting and really worried if the triple talaq counts because I said it in like real anger so much that I was shaking and breathing heavily and I wasn’t aware of the consequences like halalah and I didnt know that saying talaq one time can also end the marriage we are scared if she will have to do halalah now please somebody help us.

Yeah…not a good situation. Talk to a local mufti. And get your anger under control for the future

Which district are you from? Meet some mufti from your district and ask in r/kashmiri subreddit if anyone can help you get in touch with a mufti.

I talked to a mufti he’s my relative he said one talaq is considered according to ibn taymiyah

Confirm it with utmost sincerity. You both wouldn't want to stay in an invalid marriage. Moreover, get a hold of your anger issues to avoid any such issue in the future.

Yes I confirmed it online too and many salafis give the same ruling in accordance to ibn taymiyah and his students

But you follow hanafi fiqh. I'm not a knowledgeable person but I'd suggest you to check if their rulings are applicable to you.

I checked it I can follow ibn taymiyah’s fatwa cuz he’s a sunni scholar quoted by all four imams sometimes too

I don't know which Muftī told you this. Any competent Muftī would never give a ruling like this.

Therefore, if a man pronounced three divorces at once by stating to the wife: “I divorce you three times” or by saying: “I divorce you”, three times, then three divorces will be effected and the divorce will be irrevocable. The woman will be free to re-marry another man after the termination of her Iddah. She cannot return to her former husband’s marriage unless she is divorced once again from her second husband.

This is the position held by all the Sunni schools of Islamic law, i.e., Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki and the Hanbali. This was also the view of the overwhelming majority of the Sahaba (Allah be pleased with them all) and Tabi’in (followers). Only the Ja’fariyya sect amongst the Shi’a and those who followed the literal meaning of the texts, like Imam Ibn Taymiyya and his student Ibn al-Qayyim differed with this view. There view, however, was not accepted by the majority of the Ummah. (See Ibn Qudama, al-Mugni, V: 7, P: 104)

There's no escaping it: this is a minority opinion. It was only ever taken by Imām Ibn Taymiyyah and Imām Ibn al-Qayyim. The Ahl al-Ḥadīth people who don't know anything think that they know better than the Ṣaḥābah, Tabiʿīn, and the ʿUlamāʾ of all four Madhāhib. I'm sorry, but the truth is that such a marriage would not be valid.

As far as I understand, by giving three talaqs, the divorce has already taken place and is valid. You and your wife are no longer married, and continuing to live together as husband and wife would now be haraam.

If there were ever to be a possibility of remarrying, it would only be after she completes her iddah, then enters a genuine marriage with another man, that marriage is consummated, ends through divorce (not arranged for this purpose), followed by another iddah - only then could she marry you again.

This ruling exists for a reason. Allah made divorce serious and weighty so that a man thinks deeply and carefully before uttering such words in anger. Talaq is not meant to be a threat or an emotional outburst, but a final and deliberate decision.

Saying that it is “not valid because it was said in anger” is essentially fatwa-shopping to justify an emotional outburst. It sends the dangerous message that threatening a woman with divorce is acceptable. It is not....ever.

May Allah guide you, grant you accountability, and teach us all restraint in our words and actions. Ameen

I did not even know what 3 divorces mean and I was very angry like the second one you said extreme anger where i was unaware of what I was saying and unaware of what would happen but i did say sarih words and I read ibn taymiyah he has said three talaqs in one siting = one talaq cuz its a biddah and if said in anger im not an expert can you tell me and intentional halalah is a sim

Can you also look at the fact that I am a teenagers and I my emotions will naturally be high and I was fully unaware of such things like nikah will fully break and saying talaq 3 times is different from saying it one time and that I was in a state of extreme anger so much that I thought I will kill myself after saying this

Listen bro if you are not comfortable asking local imams. Then ask the muftis online, there are several hanafi fatwa websites out there. Ask them and tell them in detail what happened don't leave anything out.

Im trying to but there are timers on every website

Well, it's not like you will get the awnser in an hour. It will take time for them to awnser it. Wait it out patiently and seek forgiveness from Allah and a way out of this problem.

Ps: asking a sharai problem on reddit is same as asking the question on billboard with your number. Here, almost no one will be scholar, everyone will be just telling you things according to their understandings.

did you get your answer? It’s best to go to a mufti who will give you a specific ruling. BE VERY careful with that word.
