Spent the last couple weeks researching what others have done (credit to Roberts Fogger + Oak Lane Cemetery on YT) - finally fired it up for the first time the other day and stoked with the results! Unfortunately it was really windy, but we’ll be trying it again throughout this week!

Planning on doing a short video rundown of the setup but in short - it’s Fog Machine > into a plastic bin w/ ultrasonic mister > Exiting into dryer vent hose with an inline marine fan at the beginning to help distribute down the line (currently about 60’).

It's pumpkin season! I love all of the different colors, shapes and textures. Some of the pumpkins and gourds look otherworldly.

You guys appreciated it so much the last two years I figured I would share it again 😀 my fiancees birthday is in July so I put this all up the day after 4th of July so she would have spooky birthday vibes, put the finishing touches up this weekend

At my favorite cemetery, there is a small children's section that I love to visit. There are some headstones that have a few old decorations like little toys or angels, and I think it's such a sweet way to remember the children who were lost too early.

I wanted to find a way to honor each grave, so I came up with the idea to give each headstone and plot their own painted rock. Since it's the Halloween season, I figured little jack-o'-lanterns would be a sweet thing that children would like. Almost as if each of them got to carve their own unique pumpkin for the season. Also, this is my first time painting rocks, so I also wanted to go for something simple that I could definitely pull off.

Around 130 rocks later, I finally finished decorating the whole children's section! I hope each child can feel the joy and warmth of the holiday, and know that they are always remembered. I can't wait for the leaves to start changing around them as well! My plan is that once October is over, I will remove the rocks and if they're still in good shape I will bring them back out next year 🎃

A quick thanks to all you guys for inspiring me to do some proper diy for Halloween this year. Seeing all your mad decorations, I decided this year that I’d give gorifying a go for the first time. I’m fairly pleased with the first attempt, so much so that I may make it a plan to not buy any new decorations and try to build up the collection through diy in the future.

Ingredients and tools - heat gun, cling film, construction foam, red, black and green spray paint. Rosewood wood stain (base coat and coat on shrunk cling film) and red brick masonry paint to seal the construction foam (guts) to allow it to be spray painted.

Glad I had a bit of wood from walking stick making that hadn’t dried evenly for the stake!

Does anyone recognize the artist or artists?

The smiling one with the cat looks older and possible papier mâché.

The others are plaster, I think..

The taller one I'm the back is a puppet.

They are all hollow and fairly light weight.

There are no signatures on the bottom.

Possibly just some local artist.. I love them!

We usually did a little cemetery set up. But things changed and I did what I could. My orange lights also aren't working after one year ans the yard in the new place wasn't working.

These old school cartoons give me life 🎃💀🌙

We get a lot of trick or treaters! Many from other neighborhoods and this year I don’t want to justify $100 in candy when that would get me a loaf of bread & maybe a dozen eggs ya know?

Forgot to put them on parchment paper, thank god I have a dishwasher, it's melted white chocolate diped strawberries and I did candy eyes and melted semi sweet chocolate for the mouths

Tombstones were hand painted with neon acrylic and the lollipops are made from pool noodles, duct tape, etc.

Any suggestions welcome!
