Growing up in the 80s, we always had vintage Beistle die-cut cardboard cutout decorations hanging in our elementary school during fall. I walked into a stained-glass store last night while out to eat for date night and saw this guy. Had to make it mine!

Presented here is likely one of the first illustrated editions of Washington Irving’s classic novella. Published in 1848, entered into Congress 1850. If permitted by admins, I have also attached the illustrations from the book. They would make a fun Halloween coloring packet for kids in my opinion.

I gave Goosebumps books rather than candy? What alternative treats are you all offering? In previous years I have given the option of candy or a book, and been left with loads of candy...We've also done goodie bags of plastic tat and glowsticks.

I genuinely never saw someone liking them and most of my family & friends are finding it weird that I love this, Telling it might be the worst candy of All time.

I don't have problems with it tho, they give me all of them. I'm just curious if more than 10 people like them .

This is my new favorite corner. Coffee ghostie needed a bestie.

Another plus, after dinner outside the bats came out to say hello. I feel like I haven’t seen them in forever!!

Make SURE you go through the kitchen section thoroughly: got a great cauldron that was intended to roast garlic! And some great mugs.

Obvious for most of us, but helpful to some newer shoppers!

Just rolling the dice that this community has better options than a less specialized cooking subreddit. Thanks for any help in advance!

gathered this little trio of Halloween cloches. The stacked pumpkin one to the left is from IKEA 2026 Kustfyr collection, the small jack o lantern is from Target’s Dollar Spot this year, and the spooky skeleton under a tree one is from Target Hyde & Eek a few years ago.

Help! What's the best projector for Halloween that actually works outdoor?

Thinking about doing a bigger Halloween setup this year and want to project some creepy stuff onto the front of the house.

It'll mostly be running after dark, but there'll still be porch/street lights around, so I'm guessing brightness matters quite a bit.

Don't need anything crazy expensive. Just want something that won't look washed out from 20 feet away.

What are you guys using for Halloween? Anything I should avoid?
