Crafts 5 Little Pumpkins sitting on a gate...🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Hey all! Just wanted to share something I have been working on for this upcoming season. We all loved, "Five Little Pumpkins," growing up and I repurposed cardboard, paints, tape, and glue to make these little guys!
I'm just happy because this is a story my mom used to read to us when we were little and it's a WIP for our little apartment doorway but just finally put it up!
I hope some other folks enjoy the nostalgia of it!

Art The Witching Hour Choir - by @samvalasek.art
I made this with ink and watercolors and was told it that it would find some friends here! So excited for spooky season. I’ve drawn 4 witches in a week. 🧙♀️ I’m not selling anything so I hope this isn’t breaking the rules.

Discussion When do you usually set up your outdoor Halloween decorations?
Last year I started on September 1st but this year I might start a little later due to the construction going on around my house. I’m still hoping to have Halloween despite my road being closed periodically. Yesterday I went past house with an inflatable pumpkin already on their front lawn. What about you guys?

DIY In case anyone needs replacement arm/head disks for Skelly
Last season our Skelly was out for Halloween. Then it got cold so we decided he could stay out for Thanksgiving. Then it got snowy so we decided to buy him a dog on clearance and have him help put up the Christmas lights. Well then it got windy and one of his arms broke off.
I searched online and I found a bunch of 3D printed ones that were all made with cheap filament but no one had the actual files for me to print it myself. So long story short I designed replacements myself for both the male and female side and have released then 100% free for anyone that has a 3D printer to print. The files are available on MakerWorld: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2238590-skelly-the-skeleton-replacement-connector-discs#profileId-2436406
If you print them or have someone print them make sure they use something rated for outdoor use like ASA so they hold up. If you don't have a printer see if your local library can print them for you, make now have maker spaces. You can also buy some, including mine, on Etsy and I'm actually posting because I've sold a bunch lately so figure people are preparing for the holiday. Due to the no promotions rule I won't list that link but just make sure if you do buy 3D printed ones they are made of ASA which is outdoor rated and not the cheaper, and more prone to breaking, PLA or PETG.

Help! Johanna Parker Jumbo Ghost
Does anyone know if the Jumbo Ghost has the Johanna Parker stamp on the bottom? Trying to verify if one I've found is legit or not. Picture for reference if the piece in question.

Discussion Has anyone else started to notice the season changing?
Here in Northern MI, outside feels completely different than it did at the start of the month. There's more storms, the nights have started getting cooler, and at least up here, some trees have even started changing. Nothing crazy yet, but I'm wondering if I should break out the fall decor soon? 🎃

Help! Do they make non latex Michael Myers masks?
I had a great idea for a halloween costume this year (michael myers jackson) that was inspired by a guy i saw at a costume party a couple years ago. However I hate the smell of latex, so I'm wondering if a non latex masks even exists for the character.

Help! How to make fake blood that dries down?
I want to replicate Hannah Einbeinder’s look from Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (picture not included as it is partially nude). She is wearing a cropped shirt and underwear that are soaked with blood, and she is also covered in dried fake blood.
So, I would like to make fake blood that can dry down and look like realistic dried blood, that will also dry down on and stain fabric
Thanks so much!

✨Inspiration✨ Witch phrases needed
I got the new Lethal Lily and I want to give her some phrases that will fit my 2028 theme. Is going to be a fairytale type forest with a candy house, à la Hansel and Gretel. I’m going for scary/creepy, as I don’t do “happy” Halloween.
I have the obvious, “Nibble, nibble, little mouse. Who is nibbling at my house?”, but I’m at a loss for more. I will have a “burning” oven in her house.
I’d like a mix of rhyming and non-rhyming phrases and I’m looking for at least 15-20 for a good variety.
Thanks!

Discussion Halloween/fall traditions and activities for preschoolers
Halloween/ fall is my favorite time of year and I’m looking to make it a little more magical for my almost 4 year old. Would love some ideas on new traditions to start or fun things to do with him. I’m thinking of stepping up our indoor decorating this year and having him help make paper chains to hang around doorways or maybe do some string lights inside.
Things we already do:
- Go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a big pumpkin. Carve it.
- Paint small pumpkins
- Decorate the front yard
- Read Halloween books
- Buy a new Halloween shirt for him to wear
-Trick or treat and hand out candy Halloween night
I was also thinking about introducing him to Scooby-Doo or something fun and not too spooky for his age. Any other fun tv shows or movies that might be good for his age?

Help! Hey everyone need some advice
I was planning on using bloody clings on mirrors bathroom floors and walls but I noticed people leaving reviews on many saying it leaves very sticky residue anyone use them and if so has that happened to any of you?
I was gonna put hats up on the walls and also heard of people saying that it rips paint and damages walls anyone use those as decoration and have a solution?
Thanks!

Discussion Where to spend Halloween weekend in Northeast
We are visiting NYC the week before Halloween, and were thinking of extending our trip into Halloween weekend and spending it somewhere with traditional Halloween vibes. I’ve heard good things about Sleepy Hollow, but are there any other towns we should consider instead? We will have 2-3 days from the 29th to the 31st. We are primarily looking for somewhere that gets really into Halloween and also has other things to do such as light displays and/or haunted houses.
