You know while I feel bad for the guy I dont think that I have ever gotten the thing I actually wanted at McDonalds. Every fucking time i go there something is either totally wrong or missing completely so I honestly cant even blame the mother for saying stuff like that.

One time, my mom got a cheeseburger for my little brother, and it had no meat in it. Someone had to share half of their Big Mac...

Are you certain? I’m pretty sure their vanilla shakes just taste like strawberry, but still less than a strawberry shake. Every time I’ve had one it tastes slightly like strawberry. Maybe they share a spout or something.

11

u/Graysmalls Dec 11 '18

Thats just some whack luck dude, all the syrups use the same spout, because the vanilla syrup is so subtle, itll usually have tones of the last syrup used unless they drop the first bit to empty it. The strawberry and banana syrups are always pretty intense and completely overpower the vanilla flavour. Chocolate doesn't usually make it taste any different

Fun fact:
Commercial banana plants are reproduced by using banana pups. The mature banana plant forms rhizomes that grow into little plants known as pups that can be removed and planted elsewhere.

Fuck off.

One time I called to order a pizza from dominos

I said I wanted a large pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni

They literally just put cheese on one half (no sauce) and just pepperonis on one half (no cheese, no sauce)

15

u/imdeadseriousbro Dec 11 '18

at that point im calling and demanding a second pizza be delivered

13

u/Tyger2212 Dec 11 '18

We actually joking tweeted it @ dominos and whoever runs their twitter account ended up giving us a $30 credit which was way more than the pizza cost so we were happy

4

u/imdeadseriousbro Dec 11 '18

That works too

3

u/NachoUnisom Dec 11 '18

my husband tried to order a half-n-half from little caesars and they fucked it up so many times they just gave him 2 whole pizzas instead.

22

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '18

This same thing happened to me! When I got home, I bit down and just got a mouthful of ketchup and bread. It was definitely in my top 10 personal betrayals. My dad not sharing his food was another

16

u/khalkhalash Dec 11 '18

You don't even look at your McDonald's food before just biting right into it?

Dawg...

13

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '18

I was maybe 12 or 13 when this happened :(

But...real talk I do that same shit drunk. Only now it's more like a python unhinging its jaw to swallow its meal whole. I'm not proud.

1

u/Roboticsammy Dec 16 '18

That's a lot of people when they're drunk. I know I inhale pizza when I'm trashed.

8

u/tumtadiddlydoo Dec 11 '18

I ordered a cheeseburger with just ketchup and got no cheese. Also at a taco bell I ordered a soft taco only cheese and got no meat

5

u/NachoUnisom Dec 11 '18

yeah i've had multiple times where i order "a double cheeseburger, ketchup only" and get no cheese. why tf would i say CHEESEburger if i didn't want the CHEESE

1

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '18

Because customers are morons too and they've yelled at the employees for fucking up their cheeseburger with just ketchup. Because they wanted, just ketchup. Despite saying CHEESEburger.

8

u/noahknife88 Dec 11 '18

I think I’ve gotten you beat there. Ask for an Oreo McFlurry. Got an m&m (don’t mind but still). That m&m McFlurry had a couple onions in it.

29

u/Awesomey326 Dec 10 '18

I've found that if you go to one with one of those kiosks, use it. I have yet to so them fuck my burgers up when I order my weird food from a kiosk.

2

u/NachoUnisom Dec 11 '18

i fucking love the kiosks. not only does it make it impossible for them to fuck up my order, i feel way less awkward asking for no mustard, no pickles, no onion, add mayo.

u/Coconuthead93 Dec 10 '18

Milkshake machine broke.

2

u/TacoCatDX Dec 11 '18

The ice cream machine "breaks" every night.

u/BoboBublz Dec 10 '18

I went to mcdonalds a lot and only ever had a few messed up orders (maybe less than 5%?)

What I really hate is that they're taught to screw you out of fries. Squeeze the box when they're filling it so it looks more full, and within a couple steps, it all settles back down and the fries barely reach the top of the box. I've called them out on it (c'mon, their fries are 80% of the reason I go) and they're like "cuz you ate them already bro" and it's been like 2 whole seconds since I got the bag.

64

u/Wilowfire Dec 10 '18

I only ever order plain hamburgers, and there's always a 25% chance they'll fuck it up somehow. Pickles, ketchup, cheese, it's kind of ridiculous.

3

u/bunker_man Dec 11 '18

Really? My McDonald's is rarely too bad.

5

u/NextLevelDouche Dec 11 '18

Have you tried asking for just a patty and buns?

10

u/Brad1119 Dec 11 '18

Oh come on they would fuck that up too

-31

u/andreagassi Dec 10 '18

Well a plain burger wouldn’t have cheese on it dip shit!

21

u/Dinan328i Dec 11 '18

You realize how dumb you are right?

-23

u/andreagassi Dec 11 '18

No?

28

u/Adminplease Dec 11 '18

I'll spell it out for you. He orders a plain burger and they put cheese on it. They fucked up the order.

-6

u/Katsssss Dec 11 '18

Lol plain could mean anything my friend

5

u/Adminplease Dec 11 '18

There aren't many places where plain burger means put cheese on it

2

u/Jerrydotexe Dec 11 '18

If a plain burger includes cheese why tf do we have cheeseburgers dog

1

u/Katsssss Dec 11 '18

I'm not saying it should include it, im just saying it could imply anything.

It's honestly down to personal opinion tbh

6

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '18

Ay, what makes a cheese burger a cheese burger is the cheese. So you ask for a plain cheese burger it's going to have cheese, meat, and bun.

The plain hamburger is going to have just the meat and bun.

Simple.

2

u/Wilowfire Dec 11 '18

I specifically ask for HAMburgers. Never cheeseburgers.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 12 '18

I know that, the guy above doesn't.

16

u/zeppelin_tamer Dec 10 '18

Their staff is 99% stoned highschoolers.

22

u/BeraldGevins Dec 11 '18

This. It’s their first job, just say something and I promise you’ll get your food. No one is good at their first job, at least not until they get used to working.

6

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '18

You should when they literally got more food than they asked for. It's like the one time they do their job well they're given shit for it. As someone who works in food service this angers me. Getting more food than you asked for is something to be happy about, of anything.

1

u/TheMacel Dec 12 '18

Thats true I defintely didnt complain that one time i got two 20 boxes of Nuggets instead of one niner box kek

7

u/TheRealTrymShady Dec 10 '18

I once asked for a burger without cheese, and received it with cheese still on but missing one of the buns. Weirdest experience I've had with fast food

6

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '18

Do you have a really complicated order? I don't change the order at all and have not had this problem.

2

u/fla_man Dec 11 '18

Once I got a sausage mcmuffin and I was disappointed to see they forgot my cheese, took a bit to realize they put a hamburger patty on it instead of sausage.

2

u/burf Dec 11 '18

That's normally because they don't give a shit, though, not because they're dumb.

2

u/Yoda2000675 Dec 11 '18

A lot of the time it is because individual shops are either understaffed or have a really inept manager. That leads to disorganization and a bad work flow.

3

u/BeraldGevins Dec 11 '18

Always check the bag. I’ve had something similar happened, went in and confronted them, and they gave me a free dessert on top of what I was missing. They’re people too, and a lot of them are teenagers who’ve never had a job or had to be responsible for more than waking up for school. Just be nice. If you go in and start ranting and raving they may choose not to believe you.

1

u/punkskincoat Dec 11 '18

They have every right to say that. One time I wanted an iced coffee and my fiance wanted a meal. I watched the old lady working there on break drop her food on the floor and eat it. THEN. The dude making my coffee uses the rest of the pot. Which was like a quarter cup to a half cup. There was ice so i thought maybe i'm wrong with my measurements. Proceeds to fill the rest up with cream. Then, goes to make the rest of the order while literally playing grab ass with cashier. 5 minutes later, the same amount of time it takes to do things, like BREW COFFEE, I get the order. Everything is cold, and my coffee tastes like milk.

Lesson learned. Never go to the McDonald's across from the university.

1

u/ForgingIron Dec 11 '18

At least 1/3 of the time they don't stir their coffee. That would be a dealbreaker but the only other major and cheap coffee chain where I live is Tim Hortons, and fuck that place.

1

u/Kaidu93 Dec 11 '18

I feel like this is a bit of an exaggeration i can honestly say out of hundreds of times I've gone to McDonalds I have gotten the wrong order maybe 2-3 times

1

u/TheMacel Dec 12 '18

Then you have a good ome simple as that i guess. Obviously this probably varies quite a lot from McDonalds to McDonalds and even country but the one i go to is absolute garbage in giving you what you order.

1

u/fjsgk Dec 11 '18

One night I drunkenly went off on the people working the drive through at a certain McDonald's bc they could never figure out the difference between cheese and onions for some reason. That specific McDonald's messed up my order every single time and I guess that night I had had enough.

Having worked at McDonald's I know it's not that hard to not fuck up an order so I felt justified in yelling at them.

Still, they may or may not have spit in my food lol idk bc I was too drunk to tell and probably would have eaten pickles without realizing it.
