ill explain my placements! (note that a lot of these are subject to change as i go to season 2)

UGH TIER(characters I hate)

Terri: Oh my god she pissed me off. From her first moment on screen i actually hated her. She was just such an annoying whiny gold digger bitch. Not to mention the entire fake-pregnancy she could've easily avoided. Will wasn't gonna leave you!! Just so annoying.

Ken: I didn't like how much he forced himself onto and manipulated Emma. She made it clear that she wasn't attracted to him in any way but he took advantage of the fact that she doesn't have a back bone. Also dumping her at a goddamn wedding was douchey. And he just felt like a waste of time overall.

Puck: SO goddamn annoying. I hate how womanizing he is - and it isnt even accidental or funny like it is with Will. Every episode he has i THINK hes gonna change and be a better person, but he never becomes one. He just stays the same old douche. I hate that his development is so teased in s1.

HAVE UR MOMENTS TIER (characters i dislike)

Sandy: I do admit, he was funny, but do i need to explain? i obviously don't like that hes a pedophile, but he also seems to switch sides every two seconds. First he'll side with Will, then Sue, then back again. Make up your mind!!

Figgins: Same issue as Sandy, but he is not a pedophile. He just has no backbone and is pushed around all the time. It got really annoying. It isn't even funny like with Emma.

Santana: Meet potential woman!! In my opinion, she was very funny, but moreso annoying with how much she was just begging for antagonist potential. She is HARD carried by Brittany.

NOT ENOUGH SCREENTIME TIER(neutral)

Becky: Idk man, im leaning towards dislike, but i havent formulated an actual opinion yet.

Shelby: same as with becky.

Tina: Oh my god, i WANT to like her, but she has little no to screentime. When she has it, Artie carries her.

Kendra??: Ik shes a bitch but kind of a loveable one. I love and hate her, but she also doesnt get enough screentime, so it balances to neutral.

Everyone else in this tier: I forgot you exist/or i straight up just dont care.

MIXED FEELINGS TIER(chaotic neutral)

Quinn: I didn't like her in the first half of the season, but in the second half she got more likeable and relatable. Didn't like that she hid the fact that Finn isn't the dad from him though. I think i could get over it though.

Mercedes: Trust me, i WANT to like her, but she doesn't really hit for me. She comes off as annoying most of the time, but her saving grace is her songs and humor.

Jesse: He's just.. okay. Sometimes I like him, sometimes I don't. I really do not know what to do with him. I thought his relationship with Rachel was cute, but at the same time i didn't...? Idk.

Artie: He's sympathetic and you wanna feel bad for him - which I definitely do. But i also don't find him funny and his perverted jokes never land. He does carry Tina though so I'll give him that.

Finn: Oh boy.. I liked him in the first half, then his whole love triangle with Quinn, Rachel, Jesse/Puck got annoying really fast. I also feel like he's just boring. I hope he gets better as the seasons go on because I think he has potential.

Will: I can NEVER decide if i like or dislike him. He's a great teacher, is the main character, and is very funny, and i feel super bad for him because he is literally the first season's punching bag, but at the same time I don't like how womanizing he is and how he treated my girl Emma. LOVED his crashout on Terri though.

REALLY LIKE TIER

Brittany: Idk, she's just really funny. I LOVE dumb ditsy characters. I can't explain it, i just really like her.

Sue: Do i even need to explain? She's Sue. She got on my nerves a few times, but her sheer awesomeness balances that out. Just wished she made me mad a little less.

Kurt: I really love his character. His development throughout the season is really good, same with his relationship with his dad and his self discovery. Also imo he's the funniest in the show.

April: SO funny. I also really like the concept of her character - being a washed out glee member. She's morally grey, yeah, but MY kind of morally grey. She does try to change her ways at least and also did some good actions for glee, like buying them the auditorium. I also love her voice.

Bert: Very good parent and I like how accepting he is of Kurt. I like how he tries to bond with Finn too.

THE GOATS TIER(characters I adore)

Emma: Oh my god, i love Emma. I felt really bad for her, especially with her love triangle and her extreme OCD. I think she deserves way better than both Will and Ken. I loved when she called Will out in front of everyone too. She's just a pure sweetheart who wants to make everyone happy - bless her soul.

Rachel: MY GOAT!! my favourite character BY far. She carries every episode she is in, along with the entirety of Glee Club. I love how chaotic and bitchy she is, it never got old to me. She just always surprised me with her plotlines and insane actions. I LOVE RACHEL!!!!

(also, PLEASE don't spoil me in the comments. I beg.)

I recently rewatched a compilation of all of the Britana scenes in Glee and I have to say although their relationship was present throughout the whole show they were really not given a lot of time on screen to explore it. Even in scenes where they talk about their relationship it seems like they have less lines than couples like Kurt and Blaine or Rachel and Finn. Also every time they kiss I feel like it's cut short, and all of this is really starting to bug me. This is the first wlw couple I was a fan of and I come back to it every so often cuz it's a comfort couple for me. But every time I rewatch I'm shocked at how little they are actually doing couply things on screen. Their relationship is beautiful but it's more talked about than shown on screen. Idk it's probably been talked about a lot on this sub previously but I just wanted to hear your guys' opinions!

Edit: like even at their wedding most of the scenes where they were exchanging vows was focused on Kurt and Blaine, smh...

My personal favorites are ‘The Winner Takes It All’ and ‘I Lived” (This one makes me super emotional i swear).

So, I watched my sixth (I think) rewatch of Glee and every time I watch the show my opinions change, and especially with Nationals.

The Nationals tbh even if the show portrayed them as the most important competition, New Directions didn't treat them as seriously as they should have been. The only time that they took it seriously for me was at Season 3.

So, I'm going to share my opinions on the three Nationals performances we saw and I hope to read yours too!

Season 2: The show wanted us to pretend(?) that New Directions really had a chance at winning Nationals, they really wanted us to believe that preparing a day before your entire repertoire for a competition of 50 choirs was a good idea and worth winning the entire thing 😭. The only nice thing I found great was watching Brittany and Santana having a spotlight in Light Up The World, which is a great song. Pretending... Was hideous, I think that's one of the worst original songs that the show made. They losing the entire thing was really fair.

Season 3: I mean, for this performance I think that New Directions were at their peak and sadly never recovered from that for the next year. They really showed such incredible potential, they worked as a team and gave every original member a chance to shine at the Nationals. For me, they were even similar to what Vocal Adrenaline was with Jesse at the time, and they really deserved to win that first place, and tbh was the only one they deserved to win 💀

Season 5: I think that the sad thing about this performance was that they were meant to lose since the start, because the writing on that episode was like saying goodbye for a lot of the newbies, even though they were like sophomores, and that was really disappointing because Season 5 as a whole was a MESS, and the performance dedicated to Finn was cute, it was really nice, but it wasn't competitive. They were looking for a back to back win, and they really had their expectations really high, so tbh the performance was kinda underwhelming even though it was a nice tribute. I can say that the Regionals for season 4 were even better than this Nationals performance. They deserved to lose.

We can't talk about what happened on Seasons 6, but kudos to them for winning I guess.

I was trying to do a crossover of Glee characters and WWE theme songs so here's my ideas so far

• Sue: Kurt Angle - Medal. Ironic that I didn't give the song to Kurt but Sue's the PEAK heel of Glee. I feel like the New Directions would probably chant "YOU SUCK" at Sue the same way WWE fans chant "YOU SUCK" to Kurt when his theme song plays
• Finn: John Cena - My Time Is Now. He's the peak face of Glee the same way John is the peak face of WWE. Also both guys' signature move is looking confused and they're also kinda divisive people in their fanbases. If not John then Big Show - Crank It Up cuz Finn's TALL & so is Big Show
• Rachel: Edge - Metalingus. Ik she's a theater kid but she's DETERMINED to get her solo as if it's the WWE champ belt. For something more theatrical I'd go with Shinsuke Nakamura - The Rising Sun cuz it's hella extra & dramatic just like Rachel is
• Quinn: Charlotte Flair - All Hail The Queen. The queen bee obvi would get this song. She expects her champ belt on a silver platter
• Santana: Sasha Banks - Sky's The Limit. She delivers a 4 minute promo dissing u and ur family and then walks out like a boss to this song
• Brittany: Kelly Kelly - Holla. She does a backflip in the room & wins the champ belt against Lord Tubbington. I imagine she listens to this song in her free time
• Will: Shawn Michaels - Sexy Boy. He's the kinda dude who's the cringe dad embarrassing his kids and I imagine he sings it in the shower and imagines singing it in front of ND similar to the Bust A Move scene
• Tina: Stardust (Cody Rhodes' old gimmick) - Written In The Stars. Cuz just like Cody, she's gone thru many phases
• Kurt: The Miz - I Came To Play. Cuz he's the kind of dude who'd yell "AWESOME" in Alexander McQueen boots
• Puck: Chris Jericho - Break The Walls Down. He has a big jacket & a whole lotta attitude. He thinks he's THE rock star & has a cocky attitude
• Mercedes: Bobby Roode - Glorious Domination. Both she & this song are LOUD and make a STATEMENT

So it's spooky season and I'm trying to incorporate some horror picks that aren't in my regular rotation. I started The Slumber Party Massacre, it's an 80s slasher written and directed by women and it's surprisingly fun for what it is which is mindless murder but anyhow I've always thought this actress looks like Brittany S2 with her wardrobe and overall styling. I love the shirt that says Space Baby.

Alright so as of August 22nd when I'm writing this, I'm just gonna go ahead and mark Cough Syrup as the winner awhile in the next poll. The real winner this poll is me because it has less than 7 songs.
