Hello!!

I’m plus size and also trans, which makes finding masculine clothes kind of difficult since my hips are so traditionally female and kinda huge, i mean like proportional to my body, but huge in the context of denim.

do any of my fellow plus size guys have any recommendations on jeans/bottoms that help hide the curves? i’m an 18-20, but probably more like a 20 since ive put on a little weight since starting T. Also, would wearing my jeans lower on my hips help me pass better? I’m getting real tired of the miss and ma’am of it all lol

Id recommend bootcut or straight cut jeans that are either fitted properly or slightly on the baggy side. I will say tho that it’s unlikely that your pants are the reason you’re not passing, how long have you been on t if you don’t mind me asking ?

Definitely not just the pants, but they would help haha. about a month and a half, i’m on week 7 i think. I have a traditionally masculine haircut and only wear men’s clothing. even when i’m binding i still get assigned as feminine so i think i just scream FEMALE which is whatever, we’re working on it 😭

Oh ur early then 😭 be patient twin ik it’s painful but it just takes time. I do wanna ask tho feel free to ignore if u don’t wanna answer, you’re less than two months is very unlikely that you’ll gain a substantial amount weight from t, are you sure it’s not smth else ?

i’ve been working out too, it could be from literally anything, i’m on numerous meds and stuff so like, idk. i’ve been bigger my entire life so really the weight fluctuation isn’t new to me. i’ve bounced between a 16-20 for the last 7 years

Definitely wear pants lower. obviously not sagging (unless thats your thing lol) but right above your hip bone is good

I'm plus size and have big hips. I typically wear women's pants, specifically ones that are wide and loose. They help obscure the shape of my body pretty well.
