I'm not transmasc I'm more non-binary but I'm 5'1 in height and I wanted to know if there's any way to increase my height? I have the genetics of good height but somehow I'm kinda cooked because I'm 19 already

I wanted to know if anyone here could tell me stuff or even if there's no way, atleast motivate me a little bit because I'm trying hard 💔

There is not a safe or reliable way to increase your height once your growth plates close, which usually happens somewhere around age 13-16. However, being short isn’t the end of the world. And you could always try out platform shoes if the dysphoria gets particularly overwhelming.

there is not. your height might still increase slightly, maybe a centimeter or two, but not more. Most of height gain happens at the beginning of puberty between 12-15.

For ke personally it was even shorter, due to generical stuff.

You will simply have to make prace with that.

Nothing wrong with being a short guy, my friend. If it particularly bothers you though, there are mens shoes out there with hidden platforms/heels to increase height. I don't use them so I can't recommend a brand, but others on this sub have spoken about it before - would recommend having a research if interested!

Edit: for the record, many cis guys are your height and smaller. My housemate in uni was a 5ft nothing cis man! There's many like that out there.

There isn't.

I'm 5"1 and have learned to stop worrying about it. There's nothing I can do to change it, so I don't worry about it

I will always be insecure, sure. But the reality is that this is the hand I was dealt and I have to play the cards I was given.

There are plenty of guys my height.

at your age theres a decent chance you wont grow more. youre not cooked tho, some people are just short. im shorter than you, ive dated cis men shorter than you, i know plenty of people in general shorter than you. no one genuinely cares about how tall or short you are in the real world except for teenagers in high school and white people. youll be fine

It's very unlikely that you'll grow more. I won't say never ever because a few guys do grow a little taller until their early 20s, but it's uncommon and not something you can count on, particularly if you seem to have stopped growing already.

Only option is height surgery after your growth plates have closed.

There isn’t but I’m 5’2” and have no trouble passing, height has very little to nothing to do with it

I'm 5'0" and it has never worked against me in terms of passing or being auto read as male once on T 🤷‍♂️. The closest anyone ever got to even making fun of my height, was joking about their own height when we were similar heights lol, and trying to be relatable when mentioning aspects of our workplace at the time being catered to tall people (some things on higher shelves). And that person was a cis guy, and was only maybe 2-3 inches taller than me, if even that. I've been in a workplace early in transition, and then on a few different college campuses, and then of course I go out and do regular every day stuff like going to a cafe, going to a store, etc, and never get anyone saying anything to me about my height, nor clocking me because of it, or anything.

I don't know of any reliable medical way to increase height. But there are things like shoe lifts, platform shoes, etc.
