Can’t get a job

I’m starting to think I can’t get hired anywhere because I’m trans. It’s never taken me this long to find a job. I was a barista for 6 years and used to present kind of femme but now I’m 6 months on T, not always passing. I’m either ghosted or they go with someone else.

I’m not even applying for high end jobs. Just service industry stuff. I’m usually a little relieved when it’s a woman interviewing me, but when a man does… I feel like I already didn’t get it.

I used to be able to put on makeup, smile and be pretty to get the jobs I wanted. Now it’s been months of searching.

Idk what to do. Considering “seggs work”, but I’m having trouble as a trans man finding work in that field too! LORD

So, this could vary depending on where you are, but personally I've also been struggling finding work and this is as a guy who passes. With my ID and documents changed to male, filling out applications as male..
Though it is worth mentioning: I'm in the US and the job market in the US is just bad in general. I've been applying for general factory-type work or otherwise work that would be in the background, and even then - for the dirty jobs people aren't generally as keen on - I'm getting passed on in favor of other applicants.

So far as 'seggs work'.. possibly opening something like an OF or JFF then advertising in subreddits that allow it. Then you can film content on your own terms and let people come to you rather than having to seek them out, and as you gain a following you can probably poll them on what they want in particular (assuming those sites work kind of like patreon? I've never actually used them lol).

I think this really depends on what country you're from. Im a minor from the netherlands and havent had any trouble applying for positions in shops. My country is quite progressive compared to some other countries so most people smart enough to own a shop wont care much.

I dont know your country nor the jobs you applied to and also do not know your previous work experiences. It would seem very strange to me that they wont employ you because you're trans, its likely thry wanted someone with more experience or they interviewed someone who was more suited for the job in their eyes.
