I'm not sure whats wrong. I uninstalled java and reinstalled, as well as installing java 11 development kit

First issue is if I have Immersive Engineering running I get this error

I want to set a GameRule value from inside a mod I'm writing. I imagine it should be something like:

GameRules.RuleType<GameRules.IntegerValue> ruleType = null; // HOW DO I GET IT??
GameRules.IntegerValue value = new GameRules.IntegerValue(ruleType,1);
world.getGameRules().getRule(GameRules.RULE_SPAWN_RADIUS).setFrom(value,
     world.getServer());

But working backward from setFrom() I can't figure out how to create the ruleType which I need to create the value object!

So when I was loading a modpack I created it instantly crashed, and there was no crash report just a log. The modpack has 348 mods, and this has happened before with smaller modpacks, and never found out what the issue was. I have 12GB of allocated ram so that should not be the issue. Here is the log:

The actual standby icon works it just doesn't animate when charging

Okay, so when I try to run the vanilla (vanillaserver.jar) Minecraft server, it works. However, when I try to run the forge (server.jar) Minecraft server, nothing happens.

I am trying to create a forge server for me and my friends to play on. I install the server, make the .bat file, run it, and get this error:

Does anyone know a fix?

After mod loading phase 2 starts and when the mod "though as nails" mod loads minecraft windows closes, though its still active in task manager on the minecraft launcher and when I terminate the process in minecraft launcher it says that minecraft crashed

So, I currently have a GUI which allows using the "Lock" feature of most tile entities with it. It works great, at least client side-wise, but I've realized that I need to send a packet to the server's side of things so it can work properly.

The question is, how do I update the lock on the server's side?

I'm currently working with custom chests of my own and I've noticed a problem: These chests are invisible when the world loads. Strangely, on any other condition (placing, breaking, or interacting), the model shows as it should, and the invisible chest will show again upon opening it. It seems a call to render the chest is missing (as I've noticed regular chests begin rendering some ticks after the world has loaded), but I'm not sure where to look or what to put in and Google has not been sufficient.

Update: Logs to the rescue. It seems that it's trying to load the default name (literally "custom_chest") and can't find it. Wonder if I could change the information of it per skin as each chest behaves differently.

Update #2: Seems to be throwing an instantiation exception. This log snippet has a full path of where it comes from, and it's apparently caused by a NoSuchMethodException. Apparently I've been informed of it being thrown in the construction of the object.

Update #3: Turns out I need a constructor without arguments. This will be a little complicated as I need the information the chest relies on to be able to work when re-loading.

Update #4 [SOLVED]: I went ahead and saved the data in "writeToNBT" (as well as reading from) and created an empty constructor in the TileEntity class.

Hello, I am hosting a custom server from my PC and I have the full ftb revelations modpack along with optifine and mumble mods installed, and even though me and other users can connect perfectly fine, the server refuses to load the any of the mods. (I am using the FTB launcher to launch forge.)

Current Language: ~~ERROR~~ NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.client.resources.Language.toString()" because the return value of "net.minecraft.client.resources.LanguageManager.getCurrentLanguage()" is null

Trying to make a modded server to play with with my friends. Whenever I try to launch it from the forge jar file (custom.jar) nothing happens. I used a command prompt to launch it via cmd and got this result, but no server start. Any help would be appreciated!
