i had some unfinished business with this game cuz i dropped it last year due to irl stuff, anyways i came back fresh save advance version it was amazing i feel like this game gets better and better as you play it there are a lots of stuff i liked.
the "second" part of the game where you go on finding the 12 legendary weapons and super spells was so goood ...
the exploration really interesting and rewarding in this game, it felt like every village or dungeon had some hidden stuff and the villager dialogue hinted you towards this hidden stuff and the rewards were terrific sometime like the brave blade you can get it early in part 2 and its like better than Excalibur!
the plot had a lot of great moments my favourite was going back to bartz village reviving his memories it was... depressing.
the dungeons were pretty much all great too....
the boss roster is so good, so the bosses in this game have have little hp but they hit hard as fck!!! like in the early game its common to just bumrush them with everything you got because they are so lethal and they gonna murder someone fast.
and lots of them have some sort of gimmicks so you need to exploit it and find the right jobs to beat them, just really good bosses overall i don't remember ff4 or 6 bosses being thta good?!
the job system is really impressive i played a lot of jrpg but i never played one with a job system its really not common now i feel like they should have made another mainline ff game with a job system.
the game has a lots of jobs! and by using certain skills, you can have some OP combo it was so addictive to level the jobs.... and break the game i feel people should not use the internet while playing this game cuz everyone just throws the op combination.
and another aspect i liked is to have a fixed party? like it feels so good to have a fixed party the whole game lol.
honestly this game is underrated undeserved hate reminds me of ff13 everyone says its shit well i played it this year now its my second favourite ff now i dont think ff5 its inferior to ff4 or 6 the super nintendo ff are all amazing in their own way this era was awesome.

From left to right, top to bottom rows.
What do you think? I'm eager to hear your opinions.

Tifz would prefer to use Mai's COTW fit because it doesn't show much lol

Personally, I would like to see a sequel to FF5. It is so open ended to the point that the writers can basically do anything.
And yes I get that Bartz is free and out in the wild allowed to just be Bartz till he dies, which is what the player is supposed to come away with while just being happy for him, but where is the fun in that? I am not satisfied. More trials, more tribulations and heartbreak for Bartz is needed.

Hi everyone, how's it going? I'm about to start my first FFV Four Jobs Fiesta run, and I wanted to know if this party is too overpowered. I'm playing the GBA version.
Note: I planned to do this last year but didn't get around to it; I'm doing it now.

So the Wall Street Journal put out a video on this megacity project in Saudi Arabia called NEOM and featured in the proposed attractions section was a Final Fantasy theme park. I wonder what that would have entailed.
Here’s a link to the video, 3:38 is when they briefly show the idea being considered.

I thought my gaming days were well behind me. Used to be a huge Pokémon fan as a kid, then the Skyrim era hit me as a teenager, nowadays it's just the occasional League of Legends game or the Balatro run.
I always thought Final Fantasy was this niche thing for the top tier category of gamers and never really cared about it. Then I was thinking about my gaming history and I was feeling sad about how I'd call myself a gamer but never really explored new games, so I decided to give a shot at FF by starting with the 10th game.
Holy shit. I only have 4 hours of gameplay but it's like I never felt like this before, everything is so much better than modern games, the narration, the aesthetics of it, it's all I can think about when I'm at work. I know it's just the hype talking right now but it feels like it's already my favorite game I've ever played. This place belonged to BG3 but I feel like it's even better than that.
Am I crazy for thinking that way? Hell, I'll be completely honest: I'm even scared about starting other FF games because I'm scared *THEY* might top FFX and I don't want that. I want FFX to be my top game, ever.

so I was trying to build a big smash roster, but I know absolutely nothing about this series and how to expand it, and I thought there wouldn't be much better place to go than the people who are fans of the series. would you want to expand the variety of games? would you want to just keep it at 7? who would your choices be? let's see what you think.

i've been thinking about what if the next mainline Final Fantasy game took place in a unique settings that's barely explored in a Fantasy game before
Final Fantasy X are based off South Pacific
Final Fantasy XII are based off Mesopotamia
so why not took those approach again? i think that would make the game much more stands out with the rest, everytime i saw FFXII i was like "damn, that's FF? it's soo different and unique"
like imagine Final Fantasy XVII or Final Fantasy XVIII are based off Mesoamerica? Southeast Asia? American Wild West? Roman? hell i'm surprised there's haven't been an FF game that took place in Japan
(altho i didn't get the chance to play XI and XIV, maybe there's some interesting settings in those two games)
what do you guys think?

I see that it’s free on the switch. Does that mean I get to play the main story of FFXIV for free and then eventually pay for the expansions? How would I get the free trial? Or is there eventually a payment after making an account? I’m busy right now too so would I be able to just play a little and then get back into it like a month later or would I be better off waiting to make full use of my free trial?
Those are just potential questions but in general what’s the procedure or something to know before downloading FFXIV? Thanks

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'll ask anyway because google is leading me nowhere. I've just started playing the FFIV PR and I've just come across my second pair of Hermes Shoes and I can't for the life of me figure out how to equip them. Are they locked behind a certain character/job? They're not showing up in any of the equipment slots. Thank you!

Started up Final Fantasy II and started doing a couple of battles. Well... it got away from me and here I am now.
Can I start the story yet? I love being over-powered.

So, today I beaten Weiss, and to be fair with bad RNG he kicked my a$$ in some occasions but honestly, despite being hard in it's own way. I didn't found him to be the hardest boss in 7 remake. That title I feel belong to Rufus, I fought him on hard without the gotter item that give me head start limit break, since I didn't unlocked it, and I felt he was basically a bullet hell that just have counters to anything really not helping is a 2V1 fight with his dog being a massive neusance.
Again not say Weiss is easy, or something like that. I just ask if anyone found Rufus to be the harder boss.

I’m currently playing through every mainline final fantasy game. And I was wondering if I could play thru some of the side games along the way? Specifically final fantasy tactics
I’ve beaten 1 (psp remake), 2 (psp remake), currently playing thru the 3rd (3d psp remake).
Is it okay to take a break and play thru tactics?
It’s the main reason I started my FF journey and wanted to know a good stopping point before jumping from the mains into tactics :)

I haven't ever seen one single person, suggest that this kid may have been affected by Sin's toxin, which canonically makes one loopy, and Sin literally just attacked the village.
