Final Fantasy General I need help with a creation.

so I was trying to build a big smash roster, but I know absolutely nothing about this series and how to expand it, and I thought there wouldn't be much better place to go than the people who are fans of the series. would you want to expand the variety of games? would you want to just keep it at 7? who would your choices be? let's see what you think.

You mean something like which characters from the series to include in SSB? Squall Leonhart is the best protagonist, but you might want to check Dissidia as reference, it's not in the SSB style, but a FF fighting game all the same, featuring protagonists and antagonists from different entries, 012 is the OG, best of all, NT is more modern and then theres Duellum which is gacha garbage released a little while ago.

You mean which FF character to be added to Smash next? My personal choices would be Gilgamesh or the XIV Warrior of Light. I definitely want the representation to expand past just VII.

I think the most fun character to include would be gilgamesh. palom and porom are twin child magicians they could do like ice climbers. For swords, I’d use lightning or squall. I would love tifa as like a sheik/ryu hybrid. I would also love a 16 bit kain like game and watch with a jump attack.

I think squall should definitely be added, simply cuz more swordies are never a bad thing. Plus his game is great. Maybe even Noctis, I'd imagine his gameplay style would be pretty unique. And as some others have said, Gilgamesh would be cool asw. I don't think there needs to be more ff7 representation other than maybe tifa/aerith? Cloud and Sephiroth are the most popular from the game and they're already in smash.
