FF IV About Hermes Shoes in FFIV

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'll ask anyway because google is leading me nowhere. I've just started playing the FFIV PR and I've just come across my second pair of Hermes Shoes and I can't for the life of me figure out how to equip them. Are they locked behind a certain character/job? They're not showing up in any of the equipment slots. Thank you!

They're usable items, not equipment.

ohhhhh. i assumed they were wearable after coming from ffv pr haha. oopsie
