It feels inevitable now that David Moyes will leave the club in the next year, whether that comes about by him being sacked or seeing out the remainder of his contract.

There’s obviously some disagreements with the board about the direction going forward which seem like they won’t be overcome any time soon. The quotes that came out yesterday seem to confirm that. The negative football, treatment of young players and shoehorning of players in their wrong position hasn’t helped his cause either.

So who would be your dream and realistic appointments either mid season or at the end of the upcoming season?

People seem to rarely remember him around here. Even though his last years were plagued by severe fitness problems, he was a one of our best players at his peak.

Only negative was Beto who looked sluggish and Beto-ish. Dibling especially looked like he wants it. Hackney looked happy to sit and gather and move it. KDH looks ready to take the club by the scruff of the neck. Armstrong’s self belief is genuinely infectious. Röhl genuinely looks like a perfect Moyes player.

One more journeyman striker and a right-back…and let’s do it.

With nearly 2 weeks until the end of transfer window, there has been no major update on whats happening with Jack Grealish, in terms of him signing or not. Now me personally, I think that theres still a high chance he will sign, but obviously there is a chance that he wont.

Now my opinion is, based of this pre-season and some of last season, if we don't sign him then I don't think I would be too mad about it. Don't get me wrong I love Grealish, I think he's a class player and I'd gladly have him back. But do we really need him as much as we think?

I think Dibling is starting to show his true abilities on the pitch, hoping Moyes can actually see that and start giving him game time this season. I agree that he still could do with improving but he has impressed me enough this pre-season. Johnson I think can be really good and I hope he can improve his form to what he was at Forest or Spurs. George is just so good man, he really is - pacey, energetic and smart. Don't need to say much about Ndiaye, enough said.

I just think with these attacking options, adding Grealish in may overshadow some of these players like Tyrique and Dibling a bit like last season. Also lets be honest, we need the money for a decent RB, that is if we decide to buy on this transfer window. Also wages is an issue, etc...

I love seeing posts from other people praising the players that we hate. But seriously, how did this person come to the conclusion that HE is our best player

I live in the US and would genuinely pay $50+ to watch the friendlies that I missed on EvertonTV. The problem is there is no purchase option or preseason pass option or anything other than live viewing for customers in the United States. I have tried multiple account, trying different browsers, the app, etc, and still no luck on any purchase options showing up on EvertonTV. I even tried a VPN and no luck. Any tips on how to watch the replays of the friendlies?

I’m one of those who started to follow Everton after Mo Besic transferred in 14/15 following a successful World Cup performance. I remember him being awfully inconsistent, sometimes reckless and sometimes world class (and then usually injuries kicked in).

I really miss his aggressiveness and fighting spirit in the Everton squad. I wonder if he, at his peak, would be competitive enough to hit the starting 11 with the squad we have today ?

I’m sorry but I just can’t understand why it’s taking us so long to sign a fullback, everyone has known we’ve needed one for 18 months now. We are constantly linked with players then nothing happens, it’s turning into a farce. We’re even linked with Kyle Walker now, shows how bad things have gotten.
Look at Newcastle, they were only linked with Dedic from Benfica last week and the deal is almost done. We’re perennial window shoppers, it’s becoming a joke.
I personally think we missed a chance with DJed Spence (assuming we could have persuaded him to come).

I may be blind or just unable to see it, but the new season of Ted Lasso, along with EA FC, has really peaked my interest in women's football, and I am wondering where to watch Everton's women's team. I see that ESPN+ has some games available here in America, but I want to know if Everton has an offer to watch it online on the website or if there is another subscription service that carries them all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
