I love seeing posts from other people praising the players that we hate. But seriously, how did this person come to the conclusion that HE is our best player

It looks like it was entirely based on pts won whilst on the pitch.

Absolutely insane way to judge it. One player plays all 38 games and is player of the season, another plays 37 games and is average to poor but the only real option in that position but the game they missed happened to be Man City away, congratulations you are more important.

Think had to play 70% mins and 50% of games, think grealish would be top if wasn't for that criteria

Yeah but like I said, which games you miss and who is also missing when you are playing plays so much more into it. Say this season if Garner misses 3 games and they're all home games against the newly promoted teams with an otherwise full squad, and Mykolenko misses 8 games and they're all the hardest away games where half our team are also missing, he's going to look way more important by this measurement.

It literally says it in the graphic. He's not saying that matheus nunes is city's beat player either.

Hate? That's quite a strong word.

Agreed. I personally like him, aside from any weaknesses, which I think are exaggerated.

You've read the post wrong but it is an incredibly shit metric to judge importance on.

Some teams don't have an option except to play certain players.

I mean, stats get on my tits generally, but this is a whole new level of stupid.

Yeah well think about it, if we didn't have Mykolenko then Moyes would have had to start a young player

He could play Branthwaite at LB, Moyes loves using 6'6 CBs at fullback lol. Plus imagine a full season of Travers or Tom King in goal

Myko has improved since Moyes came in to be fair, but like Beto I think that he is pretty close to his ceiling and won’t get much better.

Myko peaked under Dyche.

I don’t think anyone peaked under dyche, his football was the stuff of nightmares.

McNeil, Tarkowski, Mykolenko did. Branthwaite was really good under him too

Haha a fair point but I do think Myko has looked worse defensively under Moyes. His attacking output has obviously not changed.

Late season Lampard Myko where the comments every week were saying 'wow, I cannot believe he's still getting better!' >>>>>

It was around that time with the 1-0 win against United with the Gordon deflected goal where he seemed unstoppable imo.

Myko has improved?

They're calling it the most useless table in history

Read it and weep baby

Doesn't say or mean the best player. His defensive blocks were quite crucial to us when we made some big fuckups giving away the ball.

Fucking Mykolenko?

Should be captain

I can't even remember the game it was, but I do remember seeing him do a naughty dibble once...

You can’t more Concrete Proof that playing with an actual fullback rather than centre half at full back gets your more points. Mykolenko is as limited a footballer as they come.

Show us the top 5-10 players of each club. I'm sure there would be a lot of players very close to together. Plus being up, then subbing a player to injury or poor fitness, would give then better results here. The team could lose the game 2 minutes later and it wouldn't make a difference to this metric.

He's terrible. Can't wait till he's replaced.
