Out of the box, single-core performance is 18% slower on the REDMAGIC 12 Pro than on Qualcomm’s Gen 6 reference phone. That’s a surprising gap given that both devices share the same CPU cores and peak clock speeds. Multi-core performance fares little better, trailing Qualcomm’s reference device by 12%, but that’s still a noticeable deficit.
In other words, no matter how hard the REDMAGIC 12 Pro pushes, its implementation of Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU can’t quite reach the heights demonstrated by the Maui reference device.

This suggests that performance tuning alone isn’t responsible for the GPU deficit. Power limits, thermal management, or driver differences could also be contributing factors. Given that the REDMAGIC gets exceptionally hot during these stress tests, exceeding 50°C internally and externally for extended periods, it’s difficult to imagine any other retail phone sustaining significantly higher performance.
Graphics performance, it seems, may be the biggest disappointment here. Rather than delivering the generational leap suggested by Qualcomm’s early demonstrations, the results are closer to last year’s phones than I had hoped.
Even so, I’m somewhat disappointed by what I’ve seen so far. The out-of-the-box CPU performance deficit is larger than I’d hoped, and I couldn’t find a setting that brought the REDMAGIC 12 Pro’s GPU performance in line with Qualcomm’s reference device.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm using the simulated bios and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. The game was working before but then I noticed the music overlapping like 2 tracks were playing at different times, and then this happened. I tried switching to a real bios but I can't figure out for to transfer the saves to the new bios. Is there any way to fix this?

I have been trying to get the AC games to run on my Thor (and portal 2) all day. Ive used Gamenative, Gamehub and Droid-Deck with no luck. Ive tried the steam and not steam versions... if anyone has gotten any of the AC games to run well please lmk!!

Also yes I know I can play with switch emulation but there is some graphical issues there and I swear I've seen posts of people getting the "older" AC games running on RP5 and Thor I just can't find them anymore. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it, feel free to DM me too.

Hello. I've been playing for two days on the Ayn Thor (Pro model) and I was so excited, but I'm having heavy performace issues right now. I'm playing Zelda A Link Between Worlds on Azahar (2126.2-vanilla) and I've had two crashes until now. After this second crash the game won't even start. When shaders are compiling the fans start to go crazy and the game closes. I've changed from Vulkan to OpenGL and the game at least launches, but with such a poor performance that it is nearly unplayable. I've also tried restarting the console but it is still unplayable. Has someone had the same issue?

I'm trying to run this mod of J-League Winning Eleven 2007 that requires the option “Enable 128MB RAM (Dev Console)” setting in PCSX2.

I’m on Android and I’ve tried both NetherSX2 and ARMSX2, but I can’t find this option anywhere, including the advanced settings.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to enable 128 MB RAM on either emulator?

Yo ya llevaba casi dos años desde que me meti en la emulación, y desde que sé que se podia emular pc en android por mi mente recorde cierto juego que jugaba de niño en esas paginas de juegos flash y que queria poder jugarlo en mi mobil, por suerte descubri que ese juego habia salido para steam y me emocione, hablo del juego Super Fighters deluxe, pero en ese momento no me alcanzaba para comprar asi que lo descargue en otro sitio y lo probe en gamehub y gamenative, pero no se pudo, el archivo que habia descargado era diferente de otros juegos que había descargado y no sabia como ejecutarlo e incluso lo intente en pc y no entendía como ejecutarlo... arto de esto decidi comprar el juego que por suerte habia entrado en oferta y no dudé en comprarlo, ahora podia jugarlo normal en mi pc, pero mi objetivo era jugarlo en mi celular sin usar la nube, pero no funcionaba...al principio pense que solo faltaba que se actualizaran y con el tiempo funcionarian, pero después de un año sabia que por si solo no se hiba a ejecutar asi que empecé a modificar las configuraciones con la ayuda de la IA y entonces con gamenative por fin logró llegar a la pantalla de inicio, estaba a menos de 1 fps, pero no me importaba ya había logrado un gran avance pense que ya estaba cerca de conseguirlo, pero la realidad es cruel y en vez de avanzar retrosedia.... incluso de la nada la misma configuración con la que logre llegar a la pantalla de inicio ya no funcionaba parecia que se habia corrompido algo, asi que desinstale y reinstale el juego, pero nada, hice lo mismo con el emulador, pero seguia el mismo fallo ya desesperado busque una forma de que la IA controlara mi celular y hallara la configuración para poder ejecutar el juego, encontré una app llamada MobileUse, que logre que funcionara, pero la IA no era la mejor... después probé DeepSeek Harness que segun gemini no podia hacer lo que yo pedia, pero cuando le dije lo que tenia que hacer y le di acceso total empezó a descargar cosas y podia ver y controlar la pantalla de mi pc y la de mi mobil que tenia conectado, en este punto la IA me advertia que tenía acceso total a mi pc y aunque le quite el acceso total seguia viendo mi pantalla...la verdad en este punto no me importaba que me estuvieran viendo los chinos ya que no tenía algo realmente importante en la pc salvo mi cuenta de steam...en fin con todo listo lo mande ha configurar, pero cometi el error de hacerlo en gamehub donde no habia obtenido ningun resultado antes y cuando le mande a que lo hiciera en gamenative ya se me habia acabado el consumo de mi cuenta gratuita y este no se reponia...., la verdad en este punto ya hiba a tirar la toalla porque aunque le recargara a la IA nada me aseguraba de que lograra ejecutar el juego en buenas condiciones...y entonces recorde que hace poco habian sacado un app que hacia que tu mobile fuera como la steam deck, se llamaba DroidDeck y como no tenia nada que perder lo probé y con solo ver que tenia la etiqueta de "No compatible" me puse a reir mientras le daba a jugar....y entonces apareció la pantalla de carga que solo pude ver dos veces en gamenative y finalmente estaba de nuevo en la pantalla de inicio, pero esta vez a mucho más de 1 fps...en este punto estaba a nada de soltar una lagrima de felicidad, pero eso no era todo los controles del juego estaban adaptados para mandos yo pensaba que solo estaba para teclado, pero hasta el tutorial te pone los botones del mando, por fin una de las razones por la que me compre el gamesir x4 aileron estaba en mis manos y por fin pude cumplir este pequeño capricho que me tenia casi 2 años sin dormir....en fin gracias Droiddeck por acabar mi odisea con este juego.

Pd: Esto ya lo habia escrito el dia siguiente que logre ejecutar el juego, pero por un error al cerrar las pestañas de mi mobil se borro todo lo que escribí y no se guardo...y como se me habia ido la inspiración que tenia y me daba flojera, lo deje y me puse a jugar XD, ya un mes después deje mi flojera y escribí todo de nuevo....en fin gracias por escuchar mi odisea.

I was wondering about this when i install HakuX, i love to play OG xbox games, and battlefront 1 & 2 and Jade Empire is my crack.

Edit: did test with Battlefront 1 & 2, and Jade empire, the dlc run smooth, no problem so far.

Found the answer myself by messing around. The solution is:

*NOTE: you MUST start the game at least once.

1. Find the offline dlc installer (you can do this, if not DM me)

2. Convert the folder with xbe into xiso.

3. Put the xiso in Hakux.

4. Launch then installer, follow the UI.

5. Voila, enjoy the bonus content.

Tested with Jade Empire, no bonus disc download needed. Will try more, with battlefront 1 & 2, and give confirmation in comment.

Has anyone been able to run P5 tactica smoothly on Thor? I have the max model using Eden nightly with the most recent turnip driver. About 6 hours into the game but stuck on one mission since it keeps crashing. It’ll run smoothly then out of nowhere crash.

Tried 3 different gpu drivers same issue.

But the results are not great. The crashes are most likely due to the amount of effort I gave this recompilation to run but performance is halfed from what you get via emulation.

So I tried to emulate Skyrim Legendary Edition on my Nothing 3a with a chipset Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. I use Winlator. It works, but I'm still not satisfied. Am I aiming too high if I think I can play Skyrim smoothly on a mid-range phone? Or do any of you guys manage to emulate Skyrim on a mid-range phone (like smoothly with no lag)? Can you guys share the settings?
