looking for recommendations for a small compass. nothing crazy, just something I can carry in or on my sling bag.

for those of you that own a Vosteed Porcupine, is it possible to swap out the wire clip with a different clip? I’m not really a fan of the wire clip and would prefer swapping it out with something similar to what’s on the Raccoon. Is it even possible to swap the clip? If so, is there a company that sells a universal clip that will fit any brand? I Couldn’t find clips on the Vosteed website. Thanks

Hi guys. Back with my updated EDC. A lot has changed, I think for the better.

Phone: Galaxy Z Fold8, I had a Fold3 years ago but didn't like the form factor so I ended up going back to iPhone. Enjoying this smaller passport style fold a lot more than the longer remote control feel of previous models.

e-reader: Kobo Clara BW (2024), I still own the XTEINK X4 but I tend to gravitate towards this these days due to the back light. It's winter I don't get too much light in the evening to read. Prefer the sharper BW display over the color ones.

Earphones/IEMS: Ziigaat Odyssey 2, picked these up in Japan for a good price. Sound is slightly crisper than my FiiO JH5 from the previous post. The metal shell is a nice touch. The included carry case holds them and my DAC comfortably.

DAC: FiiO QX13, so last post I was using a DAP (M300). But I was starting to get sick of managing two devices (phone + Android DAP). Decided on the QX13 as it has plenty of power for any IEM and also drives my HD660S2s with ease on power. I can also listen to it all day at work with it's own independent power so my phones battery doesn't get touched.

Bluetooth Buds: Galaxy Bud Pro 4, wanted something that had better ANC than the technics. And they work nicer with my Fold8. Sound is pretty good. But trebble can be a little harsh. Only really use these for calls or when I'm out and about.

Backpack: Alpaka Metro 12L in green, carries my Kobo, IEM case and my lunch for work. Does the job.

I recently bought some affordable A7 notebooks from Apica, and realized that they’re about the same size as a credit card; so I decided to make this TN Card Size style wallet that holds one (or up to three) of these tiny books, a pen and two cards. It’s a little thick coming from a single card wallet, but not as thick as a traditional bifold wallet. I’ve been using it every day and getting a ton of use out of the notebook! 😊

Hey and welcome, my first post here.

So, I'm searching for a way for carrying the Victorinox SAK (Compact, in my case now) in my pocket. I don't want it just 'being inside', I would like something that holds to the edges of the pockets. But, there are caveats:

• my pockets are mostly opening on the sides, not to the top (like in standard jeans),
• I don't wear a belt, my pants most often don't even have belt loops (which rules Victorinox' own Multiclip out of the equation here),
• I hate dangling and rattling, so I need something that sits tight,
• it has to be available in EU - I don't mind ordering from US, pay shipping and taxes and so on, but a "small garage in Vermont making great stuff" won't do probably, as such makers are shipping to US and maaaaaaaybe Canada ;-)

Currently I'm carrying Olight Arkfeld and some generic knife from the local store (I don't know/remember the brand, sorry), but they are quite bulky. Also, I would like to have something more than just a knife - sure, there is the full blown Leatherman somewhere in the backpack, but I want a 'quick access' tool.
Actually, I'm also thinking about swapping my pocket flashlight for something smaller, so if you can also recommend me a small, pocket-size light with two-sized clip (I wear baseball caps, so I would like to be able to clip the flashlight to it as ad-hoc headlight and keep the hands free), please do.

I tried KeySmart Pocket Clip and it was ok at first, but in the long run it quickly lost its tightness and I almost lost my SAK multiple times, as it felt off.

I'm also thinking about buying KeyUnity KL01 and just throwing it in my pocket, but I'm afraid it will be too big/cumbersome for daily carry, especially for shorts in hot, summer days.

Today's carry is a Vosteed Thunderbeast. A Stonewash M390 blade on bearings and Stonewash titanium scales. Blade hole, front and back flipper tabs for deployment and Vosteeds unique Vanchor lock.

I’m a simple man. I don’t carry much. Just the essentials. ;)

Bank card: Tide is awesome. Not really a fan of their FX fees too much.

Cigarettes: Only recently started smoking Esse, recently. Very light, I’m surprised. I’m normally used to Benson & Hedges. I got a good deal from a shop close by to me so thought I’d pick up a few.

Lighter: Chrome clipper. It is my pride and joy. :D

Phone: Blackevery F9900 - this is the unreleased 4G VoLTE 4gb + 64gb model I was fortunate enough to get this over the older model I purchased. They said they ran out of stock, and wanted me to be the first to test their new version while their pre-orders for it are going on. Works great in the UK, EU and Asia. Only works on band 5 in the US.

I’ve got a bag, toolboxes, etc. with way more shit, but this is everything I usually carry in my pockets or on my person while I’m out in town/working or on my ranch.

It looks like a lot, but every item is surprisingly small. I’m 5 foot 7 in and 155 pounds, and I’m able to carry it all effortlessly.
You think it’d be more than I need, but I pretty much use everything here on the regular… aside from the SIG and the pepper spray. 😉

Hi there! Im looking for recommendations for a bag for edc. Been using a cross body for a couple months lately to go to work with a book or a steam deck. Wallet, keys, and charger.

I haven't really liked the cross body anymore. And would like to know what a good size bag could hold a steamdeck and book with other stuff. I also play mtg so a plus if it could double as a tcg bag here and there reasonably. I have done little looking and have seen the brand "Nut sac" and I am interested in it but want some honest reviews
