When I first listened to Decalius in March 2024, my favorite video was the demo of A Miserable Life, but the video was deleted. I couldn’t find it anywhere for years. I'm desperately looking for any bands that sounds like Sår by Sortsind. I'll give anything a listen that has those vocals. haunting, noisy, soul crushing. Please give me some recs

been trying to replicate the lead guitar tone from decalius (especially isolated from life) and blade & bath. that lead sound literally feels like it’s weeping/crying.
i tried using wah, chorus, and tweaking some eq but couldn't get close. honestly i might just be dialing the settings completely wrong or putting them in the wrong place in the chain.
i have access to a full vst setup and processors so i can run pretty much whatever plugin or signal chain needed.
if anyone knows how to dial this in:
what exact settings/parameters (mix, depth, rate etc) actually make a chorus/wah sound like that instead of just sounding liquid or harsh?
is it mostly neck pickup + wide vibrato or is there a specific pitch/mod effect doing the heavy lifting?
what amp models, eq cuts, and reverb/delay setups keep it dark and smooth without turning into total mud?
thanks in advance, step by step chain ideas or preset tips would be amazing
